Winning a LMS point from question number 6 is so difficult, but to win a LMS point from question number 9, all you need is that Sabalenka loses the final match against Pegula.

You recall my message when I described the perfect start into the match for you I know a goal by Mbappé would habe been monstrous for you, but the 1-0 lead in the first minute was pretty good anyway. And yes when it was 1-1, I thought it is not looking good for me and not to forget that Mbappé takes the penalties for France, so this was another threat to me. But I recently noticed that Mbappé is underperforming quite a lot. Apart from the penalties he scored for Real Madrid, there isn't much that goes into his books. Sometimes I think many of the players are too rich too early in their careers. He signed Ronaldo-like peak contracts at the age of 19. There is probably some degree of supersaturation because they don't really have to care anymore. However, I did not really expect Italy to win like that and score 3 goals. I thought there is a realistic chance for a draw, but it turned out that that they had about even ball possession, which is quite surprising.

But I stand by what I said before: this Nations League nonsense is not taken seriously by the big nations. They don't give a damn. The games are unpredictable.

So, anyone who has chosen Sabalenka as the winner has already secured 1 LMS point from question number 9.

If Sabalenka wins the final, 4 people will win 1 LMS point each.
If Sabalenka loses the final, 10 more people (14 people in total) will earn 1 LMS point each and only 3 people will fail to earn LMS point from question number 9.

Some really funny business from Brazil, thanks to that scrambled goal from Rodrygo if not it all would have gone to waste, and had Argentina not scored that 3rd goal, man, while one'd have expected Brazil to be that one with the better goal margin or win before either match, they just showed why they can't be fully relied upon yet again, anyways, I'm left with one correct answer away from securing my LMS stay, if Primoz can help secure that point, then I by all means would be rooting for Sinner to lose, just have a few more people, you inclusive get the boot from LMS, since I'm convinced a number of you would be needing the Sinner point

I am Lucky in this round, 3 more points on My   way, it was a fairly easy win that makes after 3 points bpnus from the last round ; me regain confidence and fight to achieve one of the first 4 places.

I don't think Pegula wins today but let's see, stranger things have happened in US Open this season.

Bloodbath in LMS is always a good thing in my book. And I feel strange with 0 in buybacks column next to my name.

Woohoo Brasil won just enough, and I will survive LMS for sure, so sad that thats the only option to talk about, but I have a good feeling about the day. IIRC every season I make it past first round, hope to keep my record clean and progress again. I like brutal. LMS and Cup satisfies brutality quota lol

Nobody who's still in LMS has Pegula - so if she wins today most of us might get lucky and receive that extra point today. I'd prefer another carnage TBH, although I'd be a part of it as well.

It seems likely I'll get the Sinner and Roglič points, so one more gives me a free pass. Not sure what to cheer for.

Looks like it but still some questions to go. I was on a 0 out of a 5 but now with point from South America one and hopefully Primož plus Sinner I could even survive.

While we are on LMS topic, couple of things that should be logical but we didn't actually wrote them until now:
* LMS is on pause when we have cup weeks, your cup results will have no influence on it
* That means you have until next league round deadline to rebuy
* Cup will again be double rounds with penalties like in previous seasons
* We will continue with league after this one cup round
* One double cup round of single game elimination means we will start with 64 players and finish with 16, it is dynamic and brutal early on 

This bad luck curse is killing me, Openda failed to convert the penalty, and initially, I had KDB who scored two goals.



It all falls on the Netherlands match later today, surely Gakpo's teammates are generous enough to let him score at least one right? 

Sinner already got the first step towards winning the title, now I'm tunning in to Brazil vs Ecuador match, probably not a game I'd have watched if not for BSFL >>> LMS, I'd continued watching Taylor Fritz vs Tiafoe tennis match to know who and what expect from Sinner's opponent for the finals, or maybe Brazil can get me an early if they can secure a convince lead early enough into the match.

I looked at the spreadsheet and it looks like you're not the only one who hasn't gotten any points this round, it seems like it's been a bad week for many participants, only mitchr managed to get 3 correct answers and there's a good chance of more because there are still a few more questions, he has a chance to move up in the LMS ranking.

So far in the LMS there hasn't been much change in the points gap, I'd be very lucky if by the end of round 6, the points gap still small.

Red massacre continues for me in BSFL this week, and I am missing shots left and right

Hey guys we are starting with the cup this week.

61 teams in the BSFL so we will have a single round knockout draw with 64 teams. As it stands that means first 3 teams from Div 1 will be free in Round 1.

If someone wants to try BSFL and sign up for season 6, time is now. If we get a sign up before 2PM GMT Sunday, they will be included in our cup. First come first served basis, if we get more than 3, only first 3 will be in for the cup. Rest will have to wait for Season 6.

First sign up we get will play 3rd placed team, second will play second placed team and third will play against the leader of Div 1. Draw will be without any seeds or weighted ranking with exception to the already mentioned first 3 places. Those first 3 players still can end up anywhere in the draw they will just have set opponents to Free1, Free2, Free3. This way we can prepare the draw and leave the window for new sign ups open as long as possible.

The rewards for the Cup will be:
1. - 7,5 mBTC
2. - 5 mBTC
3. - 2,5 mBTC
4. - 2 mBTC
5-8. - 50$ freebet

I didn't know anything. It's all info anyone can find haha. But the commentary I found was quite informative, and just following cyclingnews.com is pretty cool too, a lot of info presented in a small page of updates that I found quite logical to read. The summary: Roglic is the most consistent, and best performer at uphill routes, like today and Wednesday where he slashed leads. His RB team also helps, they got everything they targeted today, including bonus points (which reduce seconds off their time).

Main Vuelta site has really nice intro to the stage too, tomorrow's completely mountain, slow ascent and then super fast descents, no flats (https://www.lavuelta.es/en/stage-20).

So yeah Primoz hasn't won it yet, but he has almost 2 mins lead, tomorrow's stage suits him, and the final stage is essentially like an F1 sprint, just a short, flat 22km race. If by the last stage the leader has even 30 seconds lead, he's unassailable. Need him to win, I think I'll only end up with 3 points in LMS but I need him to do it for me.

This round has been going on really competitive between me and my opponent leea-1334 so far. Actually both of our performances are terrible.    But I'm still thankful for answering the 2nd question as yes. It still keeps me 1-0 ahead. But I hope Sabalenka doesn't win against Pegula in the finale. Otherwise it is going to be 1-1. In that situation I'm going to hope for my top scorers to step forward on the 6th question or Ben O’Connor to win the Vuelta a Espana.
