EURO is starting on 14 June, is that mean that LMS Last Man Standing questions should be answered on the same day, same as we do in BSFL?

I am busy this days but I have one month to create something, and I had an idea to make small changes with EURO 2024 logo, but nothing complicated.

Also, now don't remember who made it on EURO 2020, but are you or someone is planning to make good old prediction pool for EURO 2024? Though, knockout tournament pools is going in worst possible way for me and I should join .

On a more serious note, yeah - we plan to. This is something I wanted to play for years already, same as BSFL. Would be a bummer to have to watch from the sidelines.
As you from BSFL already know, in case we come close to the prizes we'll create some new rules for us so that there's no doubt in legitimacy of our answers.

Looking forward to this one guys, honestly Superbru pools are plain so it's really nice to have extra on top. Don't get me wrong I love every season competition and I know most people prefer easy style of picking but it's great to have different formats.

Now that I read responses above, I understand better! Definitely won't make sense to rebuy if you're too far away from a realistic first place. But as cryptofrka explained further, there are many more points to fight for in the latter rounds, so yeah. I guess a buy-in or two makes sense if you're in with a shout!

Good question and the answer will vary based on how people approach it. I will pay all the way to knockouts for sure, because there's a lot of points still in play and I'll feel I can catch up even if it's 5 points difference.
If I'm 5 points behind in the final I'll be more careful ofc, but somebody will surely be closer than that.

The competition is purposely made in a way in which early rounds don't mean much. In 3 group rounds max you can get is 30 points, and in the other rounds it's an additional 75 points to play for.
Preliminary round is also something to take into consideration. If you're 5 points away from the leader but have better answers to some of the initially posted questions, that initial round might help you win it after all.

Tackling your questions in opposite way. All teams with lowest points seems pretty understandable to me. If the lowest acore is 2, all that scored 2 are eliminated.

Regarding rebuys, it is on each of us to judge if it is worth it. Just remember these questions are always in balance not like in Superbru. So leader is far from guaranteed to get good score. It is quite probable that someone gets 8 points one week and then gets 1 point in the next round and find himself eliminated.

There is also at least 1000$ free bets pool to be split on all that reach the final. Will be a lot of tactics in final rounds for sure.

Firstly. the BTC prize is just 1, for the best winner right? Only 1 winner so it's the guy with most points from all the rounds.

Secondly, then, I guess, the re-buy-in won't make sense if you have too few points right? I'm just trying to think of a reason why someone would buy in again since if you are kicked out, you are with very big distance from 1st already. I would for sure rebuyin if it's a format of like the old Sportsbet Bracket Challenge. Everyone who makes it starts with zero points again.

But if #1 has 10 points and I got 5 in round 1, why would I buy-in again to chase 5 points?

This is important to ask because let's say, before the final, if 1 guy is too many points ahead, the rest will feel they will not want to re-buy for 5mbtc, then nobody rebuys and the "Final" is not exciting.

Finally, what if many people are tied for lowest points, how do you eliminate players? Penalty question? Not sure I understood this. The rule says

All teams with the lowest amount of points per round.

Yeah, that makes sense. I forgot the part where the winner will be a person who gets most points in all the questions. It's different than what we have in the BSFL so that's why I was confused. Thanks for clarification.

BSFL will keep running normally, there won't be any double questions but BSFL will be heavy on EURO as well.

You have to buy for the next round. Anything else is pointless for you anyway, because the person with most points in all rounds combined is the winner - getting to the final doesn't give you anything other than the freebet and there's no way you get the 1st place if you miss a full round.

The format sounds great to me! I never thought about getting more points for choosing the riskier answer, but it makes sense. Just like with betting - your earnings go up if you go with the riskier option.

I have a question about buy-ins. Are we allowed to buy-in only when we get kicked out? For example, if someone gets kicked out in the first round, he can buy-in only for the second round or can he skip a round or two? I guess not, but just want to be sure.

Well I answered yes on the signup form wether I understand or not but I probably only get around 80% of it lol. So in summary, it should be pretty similar to BSFL with abit twist on it so basically you just need. Well either way, Im really excited to see which one of us will ended up taking all those prize home though. Its alot of money at stake lol[/list]

Not really, in buwa's Pot B you could pick the games. Here you'll still have to answer all the questions, like in regular BSFL.
In some rounds (just 3 out of 8 - we want to test it for the future without risking too much) there will be just a few questions that will be inclined to one option, with a riskier option available for more points.

If we asked in BSFL who quailfies to the final, Real or Bayern, most would pick Real - and the bookies give it 1.50 odds. But if we awarded 1 point for Real and 2 for Bayern, some people would risk with Bayern.

These kind of questions we will have in the preliminary round (that is the one that will be settled only at the end and have questions like winner, best goalscorer etc), in R16 and in quarterfinal round.
With this we want to keep it exciting even if you're 5 points behind - this way it gives you more options to try and catch up.


We aim for 50+, which means that with re-buys the top reward might increase quite a bit. I will surely re-buy to eternity if needed but as Trofo said, 2 or 3 might be the soft spot.

If it goes well, it will probably run as a side-competition in each BSFL season where players from all divisions can participate together.

The dream of every BSFL player, represent their 'Team' in the Euro 2024, each season in the BSFL has in this competition all the possible experience factor, although the Meme factor in the post above is latent. 

On the other hand, as long as the time to deliver the responses is 24 hours, at least it is not a problem.
