With all the TPP stuff I can only hope the dream of crypto can survive. With that many trade agreements being kept secret it's only a matter of time before the rights of the individual mean nothing. Can we fast track SSD?

i cant send coins. it says type clearwallettransactions then follow with scanforalltransactions but it didnt work.
do i need to redownload the block chain?

Try Close Wallet and try again...maybe a few time's! Mostly that will work.

did you use "scanforalltransaction" or "scanforalltxns"? The latter is the correct wording I belive. Back up your wallet.dat before doing any of it though. Just in case.

Why would I go to an invite only forum to get news about something I already own? Is there some kind of secrecy around what arg is doing that he can't even mention it?

I don't think anyone who owns SSD is aware of anything going on with SSD presently and that feels like a huge problem. All were asking for is updates on Args progress yet that's too much to ask for....Like it's so hard to type a few sentences into a forum now and then.

Yes, arg is working on the bootstrap and instructions for everyone. Hondo posted the bootstrap in slack and arg is working threw the orphan blocks.
I'm sorry for the confusion. I made this bootstrap several days ago. I thought Arg, the lead dev, would post it, but I don't think he was aware of it. Here's the link:

Simply stop your client, unzip the file, and place the unpacked bootstrap.dat in your Sonic data directory. Then start up again. It may take up to two hours to sync.
It will get you to block 476,442.
The md5 hash of the unpacked bootstrap.dat is 8bf6f7a20e84a113a84095fea495b088
