As I said before, I guess those who get this email are non VIP or Bronze so it's actually not a priority and they have no activity in recent years maybe between 2-3 years
At first the stake team wanted to give $20 to bring users active again but it looked unfair because bronze users with low activity only got a $10 bonus and had to go through KYC well maybe that's the reason they cancel the $20 bonus in the first email and send the 2nd email or maybe they have other reasons such as bonus abuse.

Well, for this one they will get more bonuses based on the VIP level for example, if the platinum account is not active in a few months they will get deposit bonus between $100- $200 and last month one of my friends platinum2 got an $200 for $1000 deposit so actually this bonus has criteria.
As to Duelbits, they were distributing random users 5 bucks freebets if not mistaken with less than a week expire date (I think it was 3 days, but I might be wrong. But it was not a long period). 
I understand that free money are always good, but going from 20 bucks to 50 cents indeed looks like a bad joke. I wasnt having big hopes for those 20 bucks, but they have created a huge hype with those free 20 bucks, and now they community will have a real bad after taste due to those 50 cents
