How will stake react if users are playing from a restricted area and submit ID from that restricted region?
Will they get banned or restricted immediately?

Hard to tell. I am also following this on reddit where many people asked this question. I
Many of them are scared to verify their account now but they want the bonus, haha. In the past old accounts of users that are "now" a restricted region were not impacted. My account is also verified since forever, with a German address (while Germany is banned now) and I never had any trouble. Since I live in Japan anyway even of trouble comes up I can just change the address if needed, confirmed that with my host.

If I was you I would maybe wait a bit longer until some people share their experience of what happened when they verified with an ID from a banned region.
I mean if you use an US passport it doesn't necessarily mean you you live in the USA, right. Important is the residency, not the Nationality.

I'm just curious though if anyone here has bet on the US Presidential Election? There seems to be a swing in favor of Kamala as she was the slight favorite like 2 days ago and now I was just surprised to see her going back again at Trump's lead?
I did bet for Trump and when I did that the odds was around 2.00 ish something. But these odds are set to change as we approach the election day.

Maybe there is someone big that really put a lot of money on Kamala in this community and bet on her in Stake?
Possible, who knows? also the sentiment in the polls are also factors why the odds are changing from time to time.

I am also eager to know how fast they can handle such a high amount of verification requests. They said you have 1 week time ti do the KYC to get the bonus. Who knows how many people right now have done this and I honestly doubt they can handle such a high volume in such a short time. So it might be that even if the KYC was made in the 1st or 2nd day of the bonus window the bonus might not be paid due to time issues.
Level 2 should be at least 30 mins, If more than 24 days just contact the live support. They will forwarded to push the verification, mine was waiting 24 hour and asking to the support. He response me with those statement, after those message my level 2 getting accepted.

With the current situation especially due to the bonus offered for those who are willing to do KYC level 2, there must be big number of users who submitted their ID and I think the staff who is in charge to do the verification is quite busy this week.
If you have been verified after 24 hours and after you contacted live support, I think you are lucky enough because I heard some people are still waiting for the verification although they submitted their ID just after they received the email.
Congrats for you, now you are waiting for the bonus which will come within the next several days, dont lose it all quickly or better to withdraw it straight away unless the bonus comes with at least 1x rollover.

Trump has mostly been the Underdog on Stake, I bet on him while he was the underdog while odds were still 2.1...
Its been going back and forth every couple of days, excited to see how odds swing closer to election.

How's your Week going so far with Stake?
This time I have some good experience playing slot and bet for some sports. I play three slot from different provider. I am lose some money for two slots but I get BEP in one last slot games called Big Bass BOOM Enhanced RTP from Pragmatic Play. It's long time I can not win from that provider so that cover my losses before from the two slot.

I also win for one sport which give me nice winning although I loss in three sports. But that is okay for me as I can use my time to gamble.

i have heard someone need to submit KYC level 3-4 to be eligible to withdraw.

any Stake's support here? is it a reality?

Only if there is something up with your account or in cases where there was a big win sometimes.
Under normal circumstances you don't have to go through level 3 and 4, normally not even level 2 but obviously this is changing from next January.
And, there is no stake support here. The rep hasn't been see for a while now so you better ask the official live support on site or (if you have one) your vip host via telegram. You can also ask your questions in the official stake forum and maybe some mod can answer it for you.

Well, whatever it will be. I am curious if other sites will also take this approach and make KYC mandatory. I mean there must be a reason stake took this step. Maybe they were forced to because of license stuff or whatever.
Unless, other casino have the same business operation. Stake has been operating legally with specific side especially (US & UK) while most of these casino is really strictly, the force could be not coming from license.

because it will be unfair if those who have done it for a long time do not receive any offers. I just want to know how this rule system works.
Fair or not, you verified user got more bonus from level 2 account 20%. Meanwhile, non - KYC account not getting any bonus, you can multiply with around 2 years+.
True, I can prove this. I didn't get a bonus because I am a non-kyc and just recently complied to the level 2 and my verification is complete. So, to those that have been verified already prior to this, you're getting the bonus instead or if not, it's something to do with the wagers that you've done for the whole stay you guys did with stake. I don't know, that's just a speculation and maybe the recent users that just verified will have to wait for some sort of bonus.  Tongue
Otherwise, it's okay if there's none.

Bitcoin = Financial freedom
~snip~
Germany isn't only in the restricted countries list at Stake, but also in most other licensed casino. You will rarely find a perfect crypto casino where players from Germany are allowed to play anonymously. There are a lot of players at Stake who is a resident of Germany. Only the old players of Germany can still play at Stake as Germany wasn't in the restricted countries list in the past. Your friend is having this benefit. It is true that Stake will loss a decent number of users for this mandatory verification rule. Still, it isn’t going to create a significant impact there.

Casinos never want to lose their players because they are losing potential profit making but it's all the regulations by the government so if casino has to operate without facing legal consequences then they need to comply whatever they have to answer it's also the government's responsibility to give the freedom of choosing what they wanted to do or else they will end up on a scam site and eventually lose their money.

I don't think right now is about the user.

But, about the revenue is being generated. These can only be answered after 1 Jan 2025, and it's quite simple to see these changes. You just need to take a look on how much money they're sharing for each weekly claim. They shared the information that the amount of money is being shared on weekly claims, at this time they're in the range of 15-16M$. IMO, Stake.com is no longer focused on the user base line.

They already reached 50,000+ user online almost everyday. It's really really bigs for online casino, I don't think any other casino can competed in these number. If the number amount weekly share on 1 Jan 2025 under 15M$ meaning the change is effecting their revenue but if not under those number then nothings effected at all for the revenue.

KYC is just going to make them lose players that were playing from a prohibited region.
My friend a PLAT IV user is playing from germany, without a vpn and has had not problems playing on Stake.
Now when he does his KYC, they will notice he is playing from germany, ban his account and he cant play anymore... and well, he will take his action and money elsewhere to play on a sportsbook where he is annonymous as Bitcoin was supposed to be...
I cant blame him and I will probably do the same, take my business elsewhere.
Later, stake

I guess so, I'm sure that there are still many players (even whales) who do not like to submit their personal document.
Of course I also believe that Stake is aware about this possibility so they must be ready to lose some players due to this new rule.
Any decision must have advantages and disadvantages at the same time.
Btw I think some users here have predicted about this mandatory KYC to all users since last year IIRC or since they apply a rule for new registered player to complete at least level 1 verification.

The level 2 reward is big and it looks like a trap or using it to lure gambling participants to submit their KYC because ordinary many would not but with that amount users would submit because they would like to receive the 250$ and use it to play games and if there luck with them that day, they will win big. Be careful with big bait.
I don't know why such amount is given to level up.

Stake is a huge brand, I doubt this is a trap and I don’t find any reason to view it that way since most of the casino requires KYC to every players while they doesn’t offer any bonus for your KYC compliance.

At least at Stake they incentivize you for completing while you will just do it too in the future since they are allowed to require an account to do KYC anytime they want. A 250$ reward is already a sweet deal considering that Stake is the number brand on casino industry.

I will understand your sentiment if the casino we are talking about is a mediocre casino.
