You are probably right on your prediction on what is going to happen to those accounts, a temporary suspension sounds rather fair after giving several months in advance for gamblers to reach level two verification.
By the way, I wonder what happen within the context of laws and regulations for stake to take this step and ask for all their users to pass through this process, if I had to guess, it could be some standards for cryptocurrency casinos getting updated in the European Union and Stake having to comply to them.
I have also signed up on other casinos through my gambling history and I am yet to receive some email from them letting know I need to send my personal information to them.

They sure are going from bad to worse, I know KYC is a requirement but why Level 2 to be a mandatory one. I am Level 2 there although it does not make sense as I rarely keep playing there anymore, maybe some sport games but not what I used to do, deposit like crazy and losing it all. I think the email is clear that in order to continue using stake starting from Jan 1st 2025, players should be level 2 verified which means that non verified users wont be able to play.
But I think there will be more time given to do the level 2 verification for old users or I dont think Stake will close/suspend user's accounts if they are not verified till Jan 1st 2025.
Non verified users are still potential players for Stake so I dont think they will do direct closure/suspend to those non verified users but I think these non verified users will always get notification message to verify their account anytime they access stake.

I think accounts that fail to verify level 2 within the specified period will be temporarily suspended. There should still be a second step to remind active and inactive users after the first period is over. and if they still don't verify KYC level 2, the account can really be closed.

This possibility could happen if Stake requires its users to do KYC level 2 starting early next year. but if that's not the goal, maybe users who don't verify may not get the usual bonuses anymore.
I'm not sure about that either, but if you look at the email given to users, it shows that Stake will indeed require its users to verify if they want to continue enjoying Stake next year.

I have received the email asking me to go through level 2 verification, indeed but I they have not offered anything in exchange for me to go through such process hastily, so I assume they are only offering that little verification bonus to their tier gamblers, perhaps those who are above bronze tier ?.

He probably not aware on the exclusive bonuses given by Stake to non KYC verified to verify their account before the deadline. Stake is slowly making KYC a mandatory by introducing different bonuses in exchange for voluntary KYC of users.

AFAIK, they usually increase their bonus reward like x2 the rewards on their forum giveaways and also they do code drop exclusive for KYC level 2 verified. Their recent move is now more generous to seduce users to KYC which I probably done myself if I will get 250$ bonus no string attached given that Stake is reputable enough to protect my data.

Stake users have already received a bonus from KYC verification before October 7th yesterday. what you get is a monthly bonus. but Stake is currently giving a special bonus for users who complete KYC early before the deadline all Stake users must be verified early next year.
the bonuses given by Stake vary. some get $10-$250 just for KYC level 2 verification. if you have a Stake account you must have received the email. Stake has done it, and users who have completed the event can claim their bonuses.

I think they didn't offer any specific bonus for the KYC verification users. I am not a verified user on stake.com but I'm still receive email for many types of bonus regularly. boras depend on your bet and your wogaring. so if you want to get a great bonus every week or every month then you have to done many bet and wogar more big amount. my wogaring amount is around 3k usd each month for this I'm getting 10-18$ monthly bonus. so I think only KYC verification will not bring any special bonus for any users.

This one it's for (KYC). Only for user account without KYC, If you receive a bonus while people do not receive the bonus. Usually just a bonus from your habits, like you are sportbets user then you will mostly getting some promotion bonus claim with topic sportbets.

Normally they specify it though. The most common ones these days and weeks are the several sports (and betting) bonuses for example for the election, UFC, NFL and so on and the other one is the "you are climbing up the VIP latter" email which I also got 3 times in a span of 1 month in around August.

I think even if you had done KYC stake will still email you a bonus. Stake offered me a bonus but they didn't specify what is it or what event it is.

Yesterday October 9, Stake.com team sent the same email to the user who was said inactive to complete the KYC Level 2 but without any bonus offer well, I assume that they will continue to do it until the specified schedule (January 2025) during this period they might monitor whale activities that do not complete the KYC and as you said maybe they offer a bigger bonus, although there is no guarantee they offer it because this is only our assumption but of course they don't want to lose whale players.

Sad. I have never won in that game too and I think the high volatility of it is what makes it difficult to win. I used some of my bonus money in Twist Gaming and bet only for $0.1 and I got lucky to get $8 more from their game Brains for Breakfast when it hit the bonus game.

Most probably Stake team doesn't want to lose any valuable users for this mandatory KYC verification rule. It was expected that they will give more time to the users to receive the bonus by competing level 2 KYC verification. And it won't be surprising if they increase the bonus amount for a small group of users. Only those users can be considered in the small group who was pretty much active at Stake in the last few months, and who will actively play with deposits until the end of this anonymous period.

Just realized I received a stake.com email to verify your account before January 1, 2025... And will get bonus after completing KYC.

Still haven't done KYC to be honest, but some friends in the Facebook group said they got a $50 bonus... If it's that much maybe I'll do KYC, it's fine for sports betting. LOl

If you actually got the email to go through the kyc verification to move your account to level 2 in the kyc levels, then you should have complied with it, you still would have gotten the reward regardless of how low or high your account level is or was..
