I wanted to place a bet on next UFC main event Lewis vs Gane but it appears that Stake removed double winning bonus they had so far for main and co-main events, and I hope it's just temporary.
There is only money back if my selection loses by split decision, and other bonus is removed from Stake promotion page.
@Symphonized do you have more information about this?

Nothing suprise ~XD

Relax Gaming & Ygradasil is one of the providers who has a good payout but is also really unpredictable, until now can't really estimate average hit scatter comparing Play N Go & Pragmatic. BTW, how much your bankrol? IMO minimum bankroll for 0.4$ maybe more than 250$ while more than 200-300 spin can't hit anything try to move on other game. That's just one of my rules experience playing slot. Grin

These two games are probably going to bankrupt me..... Why oh why..... did you have to add Atlantis Megaways, when I am already addicted to Atlantean GigariseRoll Eyes

It just sucks that the minimum bet on "Atlantis Megaways" is $0.40 and not $0.20 like on "Atlantean Gigarise".... because it is highly addictive and it can turn into a budget killer ...if you degen on it, like I do!!

Oh well.... when the budget is gone, both Stake and I loose ..because they need us to wager for them to profit.. right.  Wink

I do not think that it is to attract addicted people to gambling but more about how if you start gambling once and have fun, you remember how fun it was and keep gambling some more, even if you are not addicted. I am not addicted to gambling at all, there are periods in my life when I go months without gambling (unfortunately not anytime soon) but what happens is that I end up gambling for free just a bit, then deposit a bit, gamble with that too and then stop again, which obviously means I am not addicted since I can stop that easily, but I do not remember a single time when I used free bet but then never invested any money at all into gambling some more on top of that before I stopped.
Of course, everyone has a different kind of understanding, mental capacity, money management in both personal life and gambling.
-snip
You are just a rare gambler who knows his limits and control the urge not to lose more than you can afford.
agreed with @seleme, maybe you are a rare gambler and an exceptional one. No man becomes addicted overnight. At first, they play for fun, then the hobbyist plays, then when they see a good income, they fall into greed and gradually become addicted. This is what happens in most cases but some people have the ability to control their instincts like @perfect999.

The curse of gambling can catch the addicted people easily and there are ongoing live streams, promotions, deposit bonuses, free money offers to bring back the new users to gambling platforms and feed their addiction if they ever fall into this trap once. Promising and promoting big wins and offering huge bonuses with big turnover requirements can trigger addiction so they can keep depositing until bust or reaching the desired level of satisfaction.
Actually, the thing is not just happening like how you explain, it's true that people are getting addicted to gambling very easily but this is totally his/her own responsibility. Casinos don't encourage their users to become addicted, they just offering huge bonuses to bring back their loyal players only. they don't have the intention to make them addicted at all. Those who are addicted to gambling will be addicted by nature/characteristic, they also bet in real life in every case. So, you can't prevent them by giving fewer deposit bonuses or limited free money offer.

Is there something big going on in Stake currently? I did a quick visit and shocked to see the number of online users which is more than 43k then it dropped significantly to 35k in less than 2 minutes. I have never seen such huge number before, even when there was a big event like the weekly stream and weekly raffle.
Most probably it was a DDOS attack on Stake server. The attackers created fake traffic on the site, as a result it showed a huge number of online users. Nowadays 5k-7k active user is a common thing at Stake. And it goes around 10k-12k level during weekly boost and other special bonus time. However, user activity has increased significantly at the site. Three months ago Stake.com global rank was above 9k. Now they are staying at 4.4k level.

This has happened as a result of legitimate service and through the different forms of contest that can never be seen on any other gambling site. Reaching a global rank around 4400 isn't an easy think compared to the millions of websites available for different purposes. Also this has been achieved in a very short time period through brand ambassadors who had does big role in making it popular.

I do not think there is a requirement to get the reload or other bonuses like weekly/monthly bonus. I'm quite sure I wagered less than $1,000 in the last 30 days before the July's monthly bonus but I got the bonus. Afaik all existing account get the offer, but it does not mean that Stake is throwing away free money since the amount is just so small and not all those inactive accounts claim the reload. It is also part of marketing to make those inactive accounts come back by giving them few satoshi/cent from the reload.
That is a good point, the more you give away free money the more you can bring back addicted gamblers. Regarding the amount, I doubt it is above $10 for platinum accounts. My friend took a break for 2 months, his reloads were gone, and only got few bucks on weekly, less than $20 for monthly.

It is not a big deal to throw away some dust money, but it has a positive marketing effect. You can get nice bonuses like weekly/monthly bonuses only if you are a regular user who wagered frequently. In general, other users' bonus allocations are limited; I generally receive between 2 and 3 cents. The rewards depend on the performance of the user. I think it's a great marketing strategy.
You may get 2-3 cents, I may get 5 cents, we all probably will get under 10 cents in normal wagering levels (don't know what people who wager millions get honestly) but at the end of the day stake does this for thousands upon thousands of people, they do it every month, and they already have a million dollar giveaway as well, you can win that by participating in the race itself so they are not doing that dust only they are doing many different things.

So yeah, I do believe that dusts get together and build something huge, not something like millions but definitely thousands of dollars combined and that is for just nothing, just as a "thank you" for the ones who gambled, that is a good thing.

dropping 8k in 2 minutes ? is this some kind of a bug? because it is not usual to log out 8k players in a minute time.

though we know stake ha a thousands of players yet the decrease is really unbelievable .
There is no point looking at the dropping online user, it doesn't change the fact Stake still one of site has very huge daily online user. Most of site might be have that number in their weekly or even monthly stats while Stake have it in daily only. Personally i rarely seen a site has more than 10k active user in same time, even highest was around 1k people

That's such a huge number of online users and right now it is 11560. That's still a lot of online users. It's probably that everyone was able to get a visit to stake and made that record within a few minutes.
I haven't seen this number even with the 3x drop within a minutes, that's still record high compared to those casinos that I've seen that's having the difficulty to reach a thousand active users at the same time.

Exactly, even non-VIP accounts get reloads if they have a $1000 wager in the last 30 days. For sports bet promos, the $1 requirement is nonsense because that requirement is to filter casino users and focus on the sports side of the platform. I doubt the special wager requirement will be asked for a birthday bonus, probably accounts above platinum will get a $50 reload or coupon.

You don't need to wager $1000 to get the reloads. I am non vip and a small gambler, but when there is a monthly or pre-monthly bonus I still get a reload every 10 minutes. The amount is small but it adds up quickly.
I mean for the last 30 days having a wager for being eligible on reloads, otherwise, I doubt Stake will throw away free money to all members. At least some requirements will be there to filter non-active accounts, IMHO.

Btw, having a $250k wager and getting $10 base amount for platinum level sounds cool. On some websites, I got only few dollars for the same level of wager while Stake team always rewarded my hard work for making account to higher VIP tier.  The diamond level is another world, I doubt in next 10 years I will be able to wager $25 million for this VIP level.

This isn't surprising at all. I have seen way bigger success stories over time. A single ticket basically guarantees a shot at the prize which is why majority of the gamblers who participate in lotteries only buy one or a couple of tickets.

This basically ensures that they stand a chance at winning the lottery and helps minimise their losses. This is how I gamble in lotteries too.

That's the thing with lotteries. At the end of the day, it always boils down to # of ticket and having plenty of luck on your side to win it. I just like how lower ranked VIP users were able to get on the winners list this time. Most users with few lottery tickets usually give up before the draw is held. At least yesterday's stream will give others plenty of inspiration to keep participating in the lottery. Even if some of these winners are alts like some users mentioned, it still doesn't change the fact that there's a possibility of anyone making the 10-people winner list as long as they get at least 1 ticket in the draw. That's a good fact to keep in mind.

I was watching Eddie's stream yesterday and I was so surprised at the time of drawing the $50k weekly raffle.
If I remember it correctly, 5 out of the 10 winner were low rank member (Bronze and Silver).
Eddie himself was so shocked when he checked the owner of the drawn tickets.
It proofs that few tickets or even a single ticket have a chance to win one of the $5,000.

I am not too shocked that some of the Bronze and Silver players are winning these "Giveaways" .... I even suspect that these accounts might be Alt accounts from some of the High Rollers. (If you look at the Stream and you listen to Eddie... you might have noticed that some of these accounts has been created on the day of the draw or they are a few days old.. or a week or two)

Remember some Streamers are not allowed to participate in the Giveaway, so it only makes sense for them to use an Alt account for this.  Wink I have no proof of this.... but it does not make any difference in the fairness of the "draw" of these giveaways.  Wink  (It only takes $10 000 wager to reach Bronze and $50 000 to Silver = 10 to 50 tickets into the draw)

Some of these winners are actual "known" gamblers on the site.... so it is not rigged at all.  Grin

Don't worry, it won't happen to your account unless your account is at None level, even None rank still get reward even though never play see when the monthly bonus this account still gets reload  Cheesy stake.com's birthday is August 7-8th, right?  In anticipation you have to make $1000 wager and at least place a $1 bet on sports , this is a requirement i always see in every telegram drop.

The main point stands, there has been a change, and once again the change was done without asking. I love stake because they manage the gambling part of their things better than anyone I have ever seen, better than any crypto casino, better than any online fiat casino, better than any real life casino as well, they are just the best ever in history when it comes to gambling part.

However when it comes to caring for people, all they understand from it is "give them money and they will come" and 99% of the time they are very right, as long as we are given money then we are going to be quite happy about it at all times, that is the thing about it they can literally do anything and as long as they give us money then we are going to be quite happy about it. However at the end of the day we should be asking for other stuff as well and not shut up when given money.
