I didn't keep track of the competition but when I was watching it, this name 'MalteseFalcon' was not there. Did he suddenly wake up and wager $80 million overnight to win $250k? Whatever, congrats to him on such big win. I wish I could wager even 1/10000 of his wager.

I was at the end days of addiction, and the loss through gambling addiction made me think of dying. However I'm completely out of such thinking and now too gambling, but with god's grace I just enjoy and trying with small amounts.
It's good to hear that you got rid of your suicidal thoughts, but I advise improving your state of mind so that you can avoid such thoughts completely in the future. Invest and gamble only what you are willing to lose.We just need to learn to be alone where we have to be able to let go when it's ready so gambling is not a problem and this is what happens a lot when losses occur there will definitely be a lot of complaints.
Make a habit of gambling using safe money, which means it doesn't burden your life in the future.
Gambling is really fun and thrilled experience but the problem raises when we use it to make money for our living.

Huge congratulations to MalteseFalcon on the huge win. It wasn't an easy feat to achieve. I do recall that there were others in #1 spot throughout the duration of the contest but he kept going regardless. Even though I wasn't able to participate actively in the competition, I wanted to say a big kudos to the stake team for organising competitions like this where a large majority of participants are rewarded.
I have a question though, is there anyone in the top winning positions that got there through wagers on only Sportsbook? Because I'm thinking... To get those high wagering stats, casino games are the best bets.

Am I seeing that right or wrong? That says he wagered nearly 80 million dollars, that is insane man. I mean I have seen plenty of people who gamble in casinos, and I suppose people did played this much back in the day so maybe they were early investors to bitcoin and not care about what is going on, recently I have seen someone else wager a ton and win on another place as well.These people are crazy, sure they may not be super rich people and just lucky people that's true, but no matter who says what, unless there is a proof that this dude wasn't a wealthy person, I will keep believing that there is a guy out there who wagered 80 million dollars because he is so rich that he couldn't handle being beaten by someone else, or he just enjoys gambling and couldn't stop himself and he is so rich that even gambling 80 million worth wasn't a financial strain.

This number could go up alot higher if he play on various slots which usually have more than 3-4% house edge on average.
I am guessing that this number is a lot higher because his favourite game seems to be 'Sweet Bonanza' which is a candy slots game with a whopping 3.5% house edge.My assumption is that he is in profit overall despite the high house edge against him since he probably would have stopped wagering such humongous amounts long back if his bankroll was getting depleted quickly.

If we use an overall of 1% house edge flat then he would have lost $790k wagering $79 million. He got 250k as the prize so that leave him somewhere around $500k lost but he could be close to breakeven or even getting small amount of profit after the rakeback . Obviously wagering $79 mil would give him a good chunk of rakeback but this is with the assumption that he played with only 1% house edge

Gamblers who got their position in top has received really good reward from this big prize pool race. But I think most of the gambler lost more than the prize amount which they have received for their position. Also 8 lucky position has been selected by stake team to give them special bonus prize. Earlier in a post I mentioned about the wagering contest. During the last days we can see whales making big change in the wagering and leading the contest. Now you can see the whales making changes in the top list with the massive difference in the wager. Right now there is more than 10% difference between the first and the second. The time is running out, and I beleive he's the winner.
On the last hour, that is the most important part, on the last hour you are going to see a huuuuuuge war, the top positions will be going up insane, I have even watched one that went 3x in the last hour as well because people were fighting to be the top place. So, let's wait and see but I am pretty sure it is going to be so so much more.People do not like to show their true colors on the last moment, they like to wait and see what is going to happen first and when the time comes and there is a huge battle that goes on at the last periods to show which one is richer and can wager more. It is not always decided on the last second, think of it like auction house, if someone wagers so much that others just decide to give up, that may happen as well, but until that moment people all gamble and wager and try to reach to their maximum level and see if their max level is good enough to be first.

If you have a gambling problem you should stop, no matter you limited the bet will be ended chase the lost and try to recover, and in the end you lost all of your money. Try to educate yourself, a small suggestion you can't stop gambling instantly but you can limited any kind activity until you can stop. First thing should be act block gambling site & try to get some activity.
I also successfully 2 weeks without gambling.

It depends on how much is the house edge of the game you played with above amount.
Lets say you play games with 1% house edge and you wager 300,000 doge and the rakeback percentage is 10% so you'll get: 300,000*1%*10%= 300 doge for your 300k doge wager.
The calculation should be= Amount wagered*house edge*rakeback percentage.
Correct me if I'm wrong.
Exactly, and please note that Stake.com does not count bets in sports for the rakeback program only for the casino. For this one, I hope that in the future it will be counted too because on other sites it is counted. Btw the highest house edges in stake I think are in the roulette and baccarat games.
