Considering the prize pool alt accounts won't get into usage. The competence level is very high, and with few dollars of wagering it isn't possible to enter into the prize pool. Even by the very first day of the contest the wagering from the users have peaked the top.

yes that would be really pointless! How stupid would be to create as many accounts as possible only to get $10 back and putting money at risk as the wagering requirement will be too high to be kept on a safe level?

I just conducted an experiment and with $10 wagered I was still on the 8564th position
Probably because alot of accounts havent start wagering yet so you are on 8500ish for now. Its probably over 10k once most of those accounts start to wager
I think more Alt accounts are going to pop up for this soon. 
I doubt that many alt accounts can afford wagering $10+ daily, let alone $50, which would probably guarantee getting one the lowest prizes. So, it will be a nice bonus for regular honest players, while alts will hardly benefit from it.I cant find any solid reason on why would someone makes few alts just to get into top 5000 spot for this contest. Its going to be atleast few thousands wagered on the lowest spot of the top 5000 after 1 month so instead of making few accounts to get that spot, I'd rather wager everything in 1 account and get a higher prize though.
Also the lowest prize is only $10 though , it doesnt make sense to make few accounts to wager few thousands just to get $10 back. You could lose alot more trying to do this

I believe in 24 hours for at least 10$ you need to wagering maybe 300-1000$ but just multiply by 30 days so you know the estimation for that ~XD

Based on what is posted by Betwrong where he is on 8,000+ position with $10 wagered amount, we can see that it wont worth to compete for the prizes by using alt accounts especially if the main purpose is to get some $10 prizes for the last 1,000 positions.
I think players need to wager at least few thousands dollar in order to be on the last positions by the end of the race.
It wont be easy race for small gambler even for the small prizes, just do gamble as what we used to do only.
We should not force ourselves to wager more than we cant afford just because of this Big Event.

Not only me, but the chats right now is on fire with some error chats everything action on stake right now got error notification. So, I believe for your safety If you want to do a deposit need to wait a bit of time until the stake support fixed the issue.
It looks like the site is up and running again. I didn't encounter any errors when I opened it. Maybe there was just a small glitch in updating or showing the Bitcoin price earlier based on some I read in the chat. no problem having many tickets, but if win more than one ticket, the participant must choose one of the prizes it is fairer than before where one participant wins 4 prizes.However 1 person can win everything that means whales who spend a lot of money will end up winning multiple prizes so they will be at advantage and that's why they did it, they want to look good for their whales, which is why I think it is obvious that we are not going to see it changed, because they care about their whales who are the real people who lose money to them.
