It's true that you can only mine MIB through mobile phone, I gave them credit based on that. I have mined the coin using my smartphone but I have two problems with the algorithm.
The first being that it generates a lot of heat similar to that of playing heavy load game on your smartphone which most often forces the mobile phone to shutdown and restart for safety. This has happened severally to me as a personal experience. The second is the memory utilization. Is the coin using the internal memory? I observed that since I have started mining this coin, I do have low storage problem on my Android phone without installing any application.

I have only try mining in mobile with the Electroneum app and i would say it doesn't really worth it to me, i was not sure am ready to subject my device to the amount of etn given then, i have stop long time ago i figure i was doing more harm to my device than good,
maybe this would be a bit better but still don't feel if it is worth the trouble, better to use mining rigs for better outcome not to mention the price is not encouraging.

In addition to the Exynos 7870, which produces ~160 KH/s, tested mining on Snapdragon 801, 2.5 ghz, 4 cores. It turned out ~60 Kh/s. 28nm SOC heats much more than 14nm. Actually, any heating of Li-ion, Li-pol batteries shortens their service life. Even prolonged heating to 40-45°C is harmful to batteries. Therefore, this coin is created exclusively for mining on old, unnecessary phones that could be thrown away without regrets.
Thanks for tests.
Now it is obvious that it is a useless  idea to use a good phone for mining.
Bluestacks or other emulators can helps. But as far as I understand, no one has succeeded in using the emulator.

Yesterday produced more accurate temperature measurement during continuous operation. The CPU-Z showed a temperature of 51°C. And this for the 14nm chip. This is too high. The battery will be damaged.

By the way, these coins can not be sold on exchanges. On exchanges apparently traded tokens.  Coinbene Deposit and withdrawal are closed. On Coinsuper traded tokens. I think that the other two exchanges IDCM and TokenJar, also traded tokens. In wallet and miner announcement: MIB Coin that are mined from MIB MainNet will be available for trading on Crypto Exchange only after MainNet Swap Process.
I read here that swap will be in the month of may: https://medium.com/mib-coin/notice-for-mib-swap-4fd7a478d33c.
So after that, miners will sell millions of their coins on exchanges and the price will drop tenfold. So it makes no sense to continue to focus on this project.

Someone got struck by a car the other day, we’d better just stay inside for ever.
C'mon Yonton, stop writing meaningless examples when you are not good at writing good examples.
This example of yours is the same as the lightning example and my answer is the same as previous.
My answer - You cannot take the precaution for a road accident but the precaution must be taken by the driver. The driver must drive safely.
In your mining with phone case, you are the driver and you need to take precaution not the peoples in your surroundings, I mean your family if you are mining in your house.

The veil team is here lmao
It looks like you are behaving rudely to anyone who criticizes MIB.

Criticism is one side of a matter and the other side is appreciation.
For a project, there will be always two kinds of peoples who make criticism and appreciation and a project should always welcome both.
If a project can handle both the peoples smartly with the solid, meaningful, logical answers than that project is a successful one.

But what you are doing here is no way good for MIB.
If you are a team member then you must show patience or if you are a supporter then you should share your knowledge with the community.

When I first saw this thread I became interested to learn more about the mining thing, later I realized the risk factors. I have to think about the risk factors at first because I live with my family and I can't risk their lives for my greed. That's why I wrote my doubts here so that I can get an assurance of safety. I'm not a miner and I have very low knowledge of mining. But when I saw MIB, I thought I should buy 100s of second-hand phone from the secondary market and start mining. But I haven't got any satisfactory answer here. All I got misbehave from you.

I'm done here! Good Luck with your MIB mining.

Is this a joke, I don't know why people create coins for the sake of it, who in the world would want to keep his money in this, how many hash can phones generate to support the chain, this should be for educational purposes and not to keep value

is it possible to mine using a smartphone is effective?
because mining that uses smartphones that I have found always makes the device heat up and it makes the age of our smartphone shorter.
please explain
Practically saying and no matter what angle you do try to look at its never been ideal to mine on smartphones due to excessive work that can really cause for
the device to get overheated.

If anyone have used this miner please give us an honest review and update on the miner and how it take up the proceessing space of the hardware and how likely you will be able to gain some level of profit mining here Phone mining involves the risks of destroying your hardware so i think we need more reason to go along the ride
I doubt that no one would give out some feedbacks yet only op might be the only one who do or made such set-up and others didnt try to do it.
I just think maybe they find something new in mining so that the mining process can be done using our smartphone.

Lmao 😂 are you serious? Go wrap your self in a bubble. You might get struck by lightning, don’t go outside.
Strike by lightning, that would be accidental and it's a rare thing to happen... So peoples won't stop going outside.

Mining with smartphones is a new thing, and the phones are not built keeping in mind that someday peoples may mine with it.
So if we mine with phones and anything happens then that would be intentional, and it's a foolish thing to do without getting any assurance from the developers of this system.

Anyway, WHO THE HELL ARE YOU? Anyone from the team or just a greedy fool man who jumps up to anything when it relates to money?
Show me the statistics of phones blowing up and I’ll take you serious, otherwise this is complete nonsense. If a phone did explode please explain how that is intentional.

You have the IQ of a monkey.
Here is a case I found by googling for a minute or two Teen dies after mobile phone explodes while charging
The 18-year-old teen from India was killed after a mobile phone exploded while she was charging and talking on it.

In our case we can replace "talking while charging" with "mining while charging" - both the thing must be avoided while charging.

If I give some more time in searching I am sure I will get much info for such incidents. I think one example is enough for smart peoples and dumb asses will never realize even with a thousand examples.

How is it intentional?
It is because when you know there is a risk involved in mining with phones but still you decided to mine. You have not cared about the PRECAUTION instead INTENTIONALLY started the mining!

Thanks for the compliment. Monkeys are smart!

But you have the IQ of a donkey. You didn't even know that monkeys are smart.

Well, nothing to argue here. Everyone has their own point of view.
If you think you are safe then go ahead no one has stopped you and no one has stopped me either when I think it's not safe.

Mining with phones most probably needs the charger to be plugged in for 24/7.
And I doubt that there is a high chance of fire occurrence if we plug in the charger for 24/7, moreover, I assume mining may create extra pressure on phone.

I searched google if there is any related to it. I found it...

Maybe someone from the MIB team wants to explain this issue more deeply so that we can get a clear concept regarding safety?
