Electronic Dollar is a good name like other names I had encountered like NEO Gold and Litecoin Classic and Putincoin and EBTC. The fact that many are into this is a good sign. Though mining it is not really my forte (can only afford one laptop and rigs are expensive to buy) so I am counting on the exchanges for investing.
I have the same feelings, I will spend some BTCs when It hits the exchange.

I was mine for some time, but never paid from http://pool.electronicdollar.org, is it all right with it??
We made announcement on Discord channel, Because the small payout will make the block bigger and you may pay more fee when combine into bigger amount. We changed payout to 100 EDC and payment interval to 30 minutes, So please wait a little bit.

I've used that pool as well, they have payed properly without any issue. You have to remeber the blocks need a maturity depth of 60 before the payments can be processed. If you have a rough idea of the blockh height you started mining at you can roughly make out when your first payment will be made by looking at the "Pool Blocks" tab.

I used https://pool.edollar.cash/ pool and get paid all the time dude, I've never used that pool but it looks pretty much the same why don't you try switching pools?

Yes, of course. But only if you are lucky guy
Otherwise, You will never find a block.
I am directing two CPU's at a pool right now and am getting around 3200/day.
Solo-mining with a CPU though. That's a whole different story
It's definitely mineable with CPUs but unless you are running a very powerful processor you won't yield good results solo mining (unless you are running some Xeon Phis). I would recommend directing your CPU to a pool which would yield much better results

pending balance since yesterday....
I started to get payments roughly two hours into mining. Since then they have been steadily coming in every hour or so :-) pending balance since yesterday....And I am on the Singapore one
The "Payments"-tab on the website still says Minimum payment threshold 2.000EDC. So that is understandably a bit confusing
