XRP is not block chain even.
So they are trying to do what Oracle, IBM , Microsoft and all the fallen giants tried for 20 years. To create single framework for all financial interactions.
And they dont even bother to use block chain which supposedly goes for magic wand this days.
I'm not sure if block chain is good instrument for such tasks. But if you dont even use it, so how do you explain why you are going to succeed?
Its a long term scam projects a believe. They will develop the system for several years, do some PR of how wonderful it works, and slowly die in some dark corner.

I wonder whether to buy some XLMs or not. There are things that worry me.
Here some of them:

1. Website is shiny but there is nothing there at all.
2. I can't find roadmap.
3. It is a open source project I've checked the git repositories. It does not seem to have a big activity there. Last build failing too.
4. Twitter activity is an average level.
5. No info about announcements etc.

I don't want to say any bad words about it, just want to share my opinion. I may be wrong. It will be nice if someone knows something about all this ... ?
Good luck to all!

If you don't like it, don't invest in it Wink

You read me wrong! I don't main this I just try to make my paperwork but I can't find any information so I asked for help. I don't say nothing bad for the coin!

With stellar promising coin of 2018, I'm feeling like it will be a big jump sooner or later. With its vast speed on transactions, no wonder why stellar become so popular with investors. Let's see how it  perform this year.

Stellar Price Chart (XLM/USD)
 Cool

https://www.onebitcoinbuy.com/stellar-lumens-xlm-price-cryptocurrency-buy-sell-cash.php

Why Stellar could be the next big ICO platform./

I have a feeling that XLM is the same as XRP 1 year ago. I have some thousands of XLM on bittrex exchange and I will wait for new higher price coming in this year (maybe it can hit 2$ in the year of 2018). Investing to this coin is never too late at this time.

Please help me! I have put 2000 STR at bx.in.th since 2014, this year i checked bx.in.th account, STR was delist, so how can i get my STR back? thank you

There probably isn't a way to get them back. They gave custimers three months to withdraw them back in 2015, and said they wouldn't be recoverable after that.

Removal of Stellar
 Added on 2015-09-21

Note that you can still withdraw Stellar from your BX.in.th account; but we have decided to close the Stellar/Bitcoin trading market at BX.in.th.

UPDATE: Stellar will be completely removed from the BX.in.th system after October 31, 2015.  You must withdraw your stellar before this date or funds will be non-recoverable.

Services that are affected:

Stellar to Bitcoin trading market place
Stellar deposits (you will no longer be able to deposit new stellar)
Unaffected services:

Stellar withdrawals:  You will still be able to withdraw stellar for at least the next 3 months

BX.in.th was one of the first, if not the first Stellar market with big volumes 3-4 years ago when Stellar was launched. During early period they and Kraken had the biggest Stellar volumes of all exchanges. Wonder why they decided to go out of Stellar, this is not a good sign.

Edit: is this fresh announcement or blast from the past?1? Don't get it.

NXT does not appear to let me offer trades of one made up asset versus another; it insinuates its own native currency into every pair.

That means everything's price has to be figured out in terms of NXT, and that we can only trade our made up assets for each other if one of us somehow has enough NXT to supposedly match the value of the asset.

Also, creating assets can get expensive with NXT and its clones.

Pick a clone with cheap native currency and it is hard to offer to trade two of your 3-bedroom townhouses for one of your buddy's six-bedroom townhouses unless one of you had so much of the native currency you could actually match the native-currency price of such a thing.

But yeah, I do also use HORIZON (a NXT clone), since its native currency is so cheap (especially since it got unlisted on Poloniex). It is useful for folks who trust each other and can make their offers to one-another on some sidechannel then just send each other the agreed assets instead of using the built-in offers system. Using NXT for that would be un-necessarily expensive unless maybe it costs less NXT to create an asset these days than it costs HZ in HORIZON?

If you migrated to IGNIS/ARDR you can have asset::asset trading on IGNIS child chain.

None of the usual website-type public exchanges that I know of.

But it is itself a platform upon which it can be traded for any of the assets listed on it, and of course it is easy enough to issue tokens for it on Stellar or other platforms... Wink

Source code for it and other coins I use is available through my http://LFM.knotwork.com/ site, and adding dvcstable01.dvcnode.org to its peers-to-connect-to list should get you connected to its network...
