I dont think STR price will ever go back up over 1k anymore, with a total of coins of more than 100 billions, current price of STR is considered overpriced compared to dogecoin (doge has more or less same amount of coins)
Except that at the moment, there are only a bit more than 1 Billion coins in circulation.
And the comparaison with DOGE is irrelevant.

With the team behind the project (basically the brain behind XRP) I wouldn't be surprised to see a x10 increase in the next weeks. Ripple marketcap (though XRP market cap is highly manipulated) is 42x higher for tech that is basically the same (more than 10x times the pre-aug 26 market cap)
I think a lot of people are about to learn a lesson about just how strong a network effect can be.
