Just because you like 'running on empty' or 'living paycheque to paycheque' doesn't mean Bitcoins aren't meant to be saved/stored. What a terrible concept.

OK, yes I understand your point. They're a currency and in order to keep Bitcoins around you need to actually use them. I think you went a little too far here though.

Bitcoins are actually far more likely to be stored than spent (in my case anyways) for 2 reasons:

1. I'm not paid in BTC so I find it hard to obtain them.
2. I don't have any reason/place to spend them!

I don't think many people are going to spend money just for the sake of spending it unless they're really terrible with money.

It really isn't, limiting supply by HODLING is actually a good thing for the price but regardless I think doing both is important. Maybe HODL a stash but also have a lot to spend & replenish.

I think storing the bitcoin is not the best way to promote the bitcoin. I use the bitcoin to circulate the coin. So it is useful.

Well it is obvious their guy is just spewing filth just looking at the previous posts of his. The most entertaining was the electric car thread with the nonsensical answers he gives. Not worth the time to read anymore from this user any longer if you ask me.
People can do what ever they want. It is their money or in this case it is their currency to do what ever they want with it.

Yep, i just have to agree with this. Bitcoin in a way introduces how to spend your money properly, whether to invest your funds or save them somewhere else.

your thoughts are very logical, but I would argue that you don't like the changes you soon occur if everyone is already menyandari that Bitcoin is the only digital currency that most special of other currencies. I think you're absolutely right, but that would happen if indeed Bitcoin is Bitcoin system fans and experienced a hacking (this will never happen)

I think storing bitcoin is not against bitcoin it is not coin in the country that we need to maintain the transaction in real life (in your life in community) that we need coins to have the change (correct me if im wrong).In bitcoin it is normal that storing bitcoin, it is not killing bitcoin.

I would not say that. Saying this is against Bitcoin. It has been made to let the users do whatever they want. Storing them, as a reserve of value, is not against Bitcoin, and might even be the inverse.

I think if you hold them now you are doing it right because you can make a lot of profit with it, also spending is good but both is better because your are indeed helping the bitcoin economy.

I hold some bitcoin so that the market is not flooded with bitcoins. I also spend some to help the economy.

It can be considered to be one of the method of making profit, but this won't be effective for a long run. Only at times you can hold and make big profits. Other time you are supposed to make profit with other earning methods.

Not only with bitcoin, in every earning you need to spend only for the required things rather than spending on unwanted things. Storing bitcoin just reduces the circulation which have a small impact on the growth of bitcoin.

Depends what your vision of bitcoin is. I currently dont think bitcoin should primarily be a currency but more of a tradable commodity. I would like to see it used as a store of value or a transitory currency but not the way we think of currency in the modern world.

I hold 90% of my bitcoin. I use a small percentage of the coin to buy things and trade the rest to make small profit.
