Like seeing new life in this project I am DL Bumba wallet now and just bought 18.5M to start with.

I bought SHND. Moved the coins to a new wallet https://github.com/bumbacoin/stronghands/releases and I'll wait on the 17th of March.
I use the 2nd spare computer. And advice to all: do not cry and hope for the best and believe BUMBACOIN!

No it doesn't take that long all the time, if you leave your wallet on 24/7 or most of the day then you won't have to sync or take that long to sync, once you have the Stronghands blockchain on file you are essentially a peer sharing the blockchain to other peers.

I like coins that you can easily buy in hundreds of millions.
And it works sometimes to sell them with a significant win, see PAC or DIME.  Grin

How long does it take for the wallet to sync? It has been three hours and my wallet is still synchronizing with the network. It says 150k blocks remaining. Will it really take this long every time I open my wallet?

ensure you download from official sources, in this case

if you are overly concerned you may run the wallet in a special computer environment where it cannot effect anything of importance,
either a seperate computer, a virtual machine, or using something like sandboxie

** it has been several years since i personally ran sandboxie, but if someone else has experience with virtual environments they could make suggestions **

please I'm needing help whit this, any of you have had and issue trying to download the new wallet (stronghands-win32-v0151.zip) from the new website? I cant do it, the file is detected as virus and is deleted immediately from my PC... it is mandatory to turn the Antivirus off in order to use this new client??? If so, what is that about???

They both posted the link to a wallet which supposedly has Trojan spyware in it. Bitcoinbabys on Twitter says that it is just the built in miner but I'm going to wait for Bumbacoin to update us on the allegations.

Bitcoinbabys barely has any posts on his account which makes me question him. It would mean more if Bumbacoin to confirm because of his history...and if he's scamming us, his reputation is gone.

Either way, I'm not selling. I have 500m coins and I'm going to hold right now.

I'd stay away from the new wallet and wait for Bumbacoin to give us an update. I agree with above, eerily quiet right now. Especially since there is an issue with withdrawing shnd on coinexchange. I don't think there will be a crash after the fork though.

There are a lot of fishy things going on with this coin right now.

I'd suggest everyone to stay away from these developers and this coin. They do not know what they are doing and are about to mess this entire coins future up out of their own greed. Mark my words they will crash this coin with the fork. This isn't freaking ETH or BTC. People need to get these things through their head.

Can dev`s answer me how my antivirus did not react to the old version of the wallet and find Trojan.MSIL.Disfa, which is a spy program, in new windows wallet version?
