I never investing any ICO project before but IMO I think the most important thing you need to do before invest is reading their whitepaper to know about the project then take a look at their team then find some information about them to know about their experience or you can take a look at their roadmap to know the way they will run their business. I don't really have much experience in investing in ICO project but there are something I got by reading some article in this forum and on the internet Cheesy.

By observing at the idea and development team of ICO are reference to choose a good ICO or not. and ICO is the place to earn profit  of cryptocurrency if your choice about an ICO is right. the profits derived from ICO depend on the funds invested, the exchange rate on the market and the percentage of coins purchased at the time of Pre-sale.

I see many people asking for opinions about ICO investments, if they are good, profitable or not and I see many people replying it can be good or not, you must have knowledge to choose a legit ICO, to find out who are the developers...

But I would like to hear successful stories about people who invested in ICOs and made profit. Please, tell what ICOs you invested and how much profit you made, if you liked it and if you still look for this kind of investment.

the experience of following and becoming an ICO participant is when I follow ICO rivetz and I am currently following ICO INS, from my previous successful ICO I got some tokens and enough for my additional capital to play trading, I hope INS will also be very successful.

Early investors gets bonuses like 20% bonus upon the start of ICO which means they already profit if they sell it right after the market opens. But the more profit they could get if the price sky rockets later on granting the project has potential.

I have not been successful in the ico stuffs, either some after buying into them, they will have a system collapse due to rush in their system and they might either come back with low esteem and keep swimming in the bottom of the ocean or might not at all.

Meanwhile, I have heard of some success stories especially with those that bought with firstcoin.

A complete ICO review is important and there are many factors which must be considered so see a successful ICO.
There is no guarantee, its alll depend on the market and the debeloper. But I cannot ignore that invedt in ICO is also profitable.

one of the most things you must consider once you are going to invest to some ICO, sad to say but there are so many ICO's that had passed which are consider to be unsuccessful and some of them were totally just off the bat, but there are also plenty that are considered to be legitimate and still they are working up until now, you'll just have to be aware before investing.

Certainly I'm never joined any ICO yet but for now I try my first ICO project named Pundi. Their office are at my place and I can see their team and their roadmap, they have clear vision and mission.
They are targeting POS machine and try to adopt on small merchant/shop

I can tell about my unsuccessfull ICO experience: once CoinDash had an ICO I took part in their bounty. Retweeted something, joind their groups etc. and completely forgot about it. Now I realize that some time ago I could sell my free tokens for like 0.04 BTC. Sad

So you were complicit in their scam..

I thought ICO was only a campaign. I am shocked that you can invest in this company. Is it a trustworthy company and is it profitable?

You may choose to check out https://icostats.com/roi-since-ico to see a list of which coins have done well since its ICO. Some of the numbers out there are really impressive.

If you invest in ICO's that you've researched well or that have received a good rating or review you're likely to have more success than just throwing money at any of them in the hope of getting lucky

I have read a news before that states if you invested in all ICOs may it be successful or not then you would have an average return of 1320%. However, you can only do so if you have so much money and most of us are not so it would boil down to whether the ICO we would invest in it would be successful and the developers would be able to deliver what they promise and the project materialize. There are successful ICOs as well that after having the funds, the developers are nowhere to be found. This is the link for that news that I have read. http://uk.businessinsider.com/ico-mangrove-capital-average-returns-crypto-icos-2017-10

I was very succesful with Stratis and Lisk. I also lost money with many other ICO's. All together i'm still on profit. I don't invest in ICO's anymore.

I placed $5,000 back when waves ICO launched at 16 cents a coin. this gave me 31250 waves tokens. 10 months later waves hit $7 a coin.. I think

I would also add TenX (PAY) to that list where I made some money.. not as much as waves but I did make some.

Dear, icos are the only things that are important if you talk about the crypto world. Maybe without ico's, there wouldn't exist 2/3 of the total altcoins that are in the market at the moment.
A lot of succesfull projects are really changing the world, and the market, the whole blockchain, it is all full combination of all those facts.
And all those people who invested a lot of money in there, are the ones who have never thought that they were going to be succesfull investing in there.
I wish that more people understand that ico's are a very new way to make money, but of course that you should we careful about those who are scammy ico's, because you can lose your money in there by the same way that you can earn tons and tons of 100's bills.

A lot of people are very keen to point out some of the most recent and ICO's that have made the most money for the people involved, one of the biggest ones include ETH,NXT, IOTA. These are great and only, and did make a select group of people involved a gross sum of money-- but that's nothing compared to the amount of ICO's that have just gone belly up for everyone involved. Tons and tons of people lose gross amounts of money on ICO's when people just run away with nothing to show.

Sounds familiar in this wild west world of crypto. People simply need to stop investing and then we wouldn't have issues like this anymore, once the money stops the people stop working with it.
