Despite the situation that occurs in the market there are quite a few successful ICOs who have achieved no small success!
The dawn of the popularity of ICO enthusiasts every now and then predicted how this format of raising funds for business projects will press IPO. In the pluses he recorded simplicity and lack of need for any regulators.
But very soon the number of cases of fraud during the uncontrolled launch of cryptocurrency and digital tokens began to grow rapidly, and today almost every ICO is suspected of intending to deceive investors. The market of the primary placement of "coins", in fact, faded away. ICO companies will be replaced by STO.

Well i participated in a lot of ICO's that started to move on with their projects and visions. For example, Minexcoin had an ICO and bounty project 2 years ago and they wanted to develop a wallet to hold different Altcoins and they did it.Another example that i can give is Primalbase who built two workspaces one in Amsterdam and another one in London i think. They plan to expanse in Singapore and New York and their ICO was about a year ago.
Neither Minexcoin nor Primalbase are on the list linked above.
I'm not familiar with those projects, but since you are - could you kindly check the link in the post above you and recommend them to OP there?
I think it will be really good advertisement for crypto in general if we can manage to create a huge list of ICO-s that didn't scam and projects that are ICO-funded and are changing the world for the better.
One day when regulators start claiming that it's all scams we can just point them there.

I’ve been searching around this forum for a while and see a lot of ANN threads here. But I’m very interested what ICOs and projects really achieved great results. Saying "successful" I don't mean these projects that just going to launch ICO. I mean projects that have already collected money and released product.

For example, this blockchain game. They collected good money and now it’s one of the most popular blockchain game. Here you can read an interview with it’s developer https://gameunculus.io/blog/96 (I don’t send direct link to their website not to make them advertisement)

And what projects do you know?

There's already a thread in here for projects with working products. These are around 25 teams who didn't scam investors and delivered on their promises.
Irony is that all of them are worth less now than during ICO. The bear really hit hard, even decent devs.
Most successful ICO in terms of price AND developments might end up being Ethereum itself  Grin
I believe THIS is the thread you are referring to.
It's actually incredibly inspiring to see that this many projects are actually operational, I expected a larger scam percentage.
For people about to post in this thread - make sure you check the list I've linked and if there's anything missing in it, notify OP from that other thread - we need a high-quality, maintained cumulative list.

yeah indeed if the project that supports the game platform is indeed the possibility of success is very large compared to the others. but all of that still depends on the funds that they can collect in the specified period. so the success of the project really depends on the initial concept of their project, and the game is always the first choice.
probably in such a market as now just a game platform will not be able to collect softcap, but if it is a gaming platform using VR it will be very cool

One of the last strong projects I have identified for myself is AERGO, a strong team that has already received the support of large investors

the problem is to find the new coin that can do a big % of price grow...we must look for coins that are not ico or bounty but people are too stupid for this....I regret I did not get bought coins like litecoin, vertcoin or viacoin when they were very very low in 2015...there is a good dose of luck of course, but you must always do your own researches...for example watch Elicoin in livecoinwatch , is not an ICO or bounty... it's a coin with low mc, low supply, PoW whit cpu, no premine, active dev...only trading it on CREX24 for now...do you own researches in the thread in bitcointalk: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/anneli-elicoin-cpu-mining-only-exchange-available-3028302... people are too stupid for DYOR and got scammed by ICO or bounty...just my 2 cents...hope it helps...cheers

I guess another factor to be one of the successful ICO is to have a working product, particulary those that are pertaining to energy saving and efficient energy consumption projects that will surely help everyone.

Seeing from the views that I observed at ICO that were successful, I did not doubt that LYFE had achieved its sales. And now it's open to bounty participants.
LYFE is a fantastic ICO for this year after ICO PLAYGAME.

There are not really a lot of projects out there right now that people can vouch for and say that they can be sure that the coins are going to do well for the long term which is why when people are investing in icos and new coins they are always making sure that they are not investing more money than they can afford to lose in case the coins crash

Pundi-x it seems to me, the only one who not only collected money, but in the end provided the finished product. For others, everything stops at the development stage.

no you are wrong. there are tons of games!
