(also include crossbooking please!)

We have recorded this idea, team loves it!
internal discussion was about crossbooking with a maximum loss amount and both parties would lock up the maximum loss amount at the start of the tournament.

What we usually do is crossbook a percentage of the tournament. Say you crossbook 10% and the prices are 20k, 16k, 12k, 10k chips, you stand to lose 2k max.

Caps are only really necessary when it's very unclear what the pricepool will be, but I get that it may be easier from a coding/reliability standpoint.

SwC is making progress with software refactor. It is a large project and we are still months away from showing the players what we are building. While the first steps will be focused on security and fixing bugs, we are at a time where we can now start to prioritize features. Below is a short list of features the team has been discussing internally, and they want to hear from players what would be most desired features you want us to build first

1. Bring back no-limit 2-7 single draw
2. in-client tournament last longer betting
3. open face Chinese without 100 point cap
4. open face Chinese tournaments
5. different mixed games combos
6. more avatars
7. more deposit options (with all play still in bitcoin, deposits converted to chips)

let the team know what you are most excited about!

In order 5+1 (more exotic games added) > 4 > 3 > 2 (also include crossbooking please!) > 7 > 6.

3 depends on the game I think, while 100 cap is fine for HU games and OFCp, OFCp Prog should be 200 and OFC 2-7 150 imo.

No banking,Only Bitcoin!
I think for this the best is if the withdrawal or cashout option will be instant or even less than few minutes you get your money.
Because Im a player and I really want also instant and I do not want to wait few hours. But the others features is good and also like because the player will cobvert their bitcoin into chips for playing poker just like playing in traditional poker.
My last withdrawal it takes few hours and I have no problem with that as long as it is arrived in my wallet.

We look at every cashout by hand to make sure they are legitimate. This has been policy for whole time that site exists and we don't plan to change it. Compared to the industry our poker cashouts are very fast.

Yup...  Cashouts are usually within 24 hours which is pretty fast compared to fiat poker sites which go from 48 - 72 hours.  The thing is most people in crypto haven't tried playing poker at Stars or Party.  So they really don't know.

Hello SWC_Poker

I play under the name UterZorker at swcpoker.eu.  My account has been blocked because of too many incorrect 2fa submissions.  The problem was on my end, as my phone clock was not calibrated with the site clock, causing google authenticator to give me incorrect codes.  I have since fixed the issue.  Can you please help me get my account unblocked?

Thank you.

And that duration shall end today because the campaign started last June 18.

what are you doing outside of the twitter-verse or bitcointalk-verse to get more new blood into the ecosystem? Is there any planned promotion coming up like that?

SwC will continue to build better software and continue to sign up high quality affiliates.

Today we are focused on building, once we are satisfied with our software we will do a big marketing spend.

Dump it!!!
The BIG BTC tickets are often won for less than par value. This is by design, a way for the site to give back to the players and help create a big monthly tournament. We don't want a small group of players to win the majority of the seats, we want to spread this promotion to a wider group of players so we made the rule that tickets cannot be transferred or cashed in. It is a promotion for each player to have a chance to cheaply qualify for the BIG BTC, and we will keep it like that for now.

MrHodl's Bitcoin Twitter Showdown is getting a lot of attention, and we got many emails to support for it. Please understand only @mrhodl on twitter can give you the password, and he is only giving passwords to bitcoin twitter personalities to make this a special event for that community. Only @mrhodl will determine who is in the bitcoin twitter community. SwC is hosting the event for him and providing a free seat for the satellite, which is open to all players.

Yeah I was a bit taken aback when I first learned about the mrhodl showdown thing. But since you are interested in giving back to the community and definitely seem like you're in it for the long run, what are you doing outside of the twitter-verse or bitcointalk-verse to get more new blood into the ecosystem? Is there any planned promotion coming up like that?

Hey everyone, this video below is at risk of being deleted due to low view count (technically all my videos are lol)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QAboccYTiCg

Why is this video so weak?  it's tough to see it from others' perspectives sometimes but I feel it's either

1. too long
2. first time i plugged in this thread
3. people want me to stick with big0
4. too much verbal diarrhea, content not really good till 13min mark
5a. strategy is somewhat average with a bunch of made up vocabulary
5b. play is somewhat average with a bunch of mistakes
6. all of above lol?
7. something else?

People want more advertising for this site.

Welp, I have been playing poker for 15 years, play exclusively on this site, make videos of my play, and cover exotic games simply not covered across the web.  I don't get paid, my videos are free, i am told i am entertaining & offer informative helpful strategy.

So my whole channel doesn't even have 1k views in the aggregate.  That means my content needs work.

But if you guys at least watch, like and/or share my videos we could maybe get the view count up.  Then people will google my tags like 'swcPoker', 'big0', etc and my videos might actually pop up on a search.

This could actually lead to more traffic on seals.  That's kinda what I'm trying to do.  You see, if I can help build this site up to even as little as 500-1000 players that would dramatically affect my part-time income on this site in a positive way.  That's how I will get paid in the long run.  And you too.

Thanks

^  If they had the ability to transfer the ticket to another player, they'd still be selling it for BTC, but without the benefit of an internal economy that tourney dollars would make for the site.

Because SWC wants people to specifically play the BigBTC so they don't have to cover the guarantee. That would happen with my proposal but not with T$.

Quick idea: Let people win multiple BigBTC tickets and then give them away to other players.

No downside I can see to SWC (except for a bit more organisational effort), more sats would probably run and more people would get the chance to play for free/cheap.

Also, QoL request: Please show the regged SNGs/tourneys as "In Game" in cashier and reflect in total balance. I keep getting mini heart attacks when I forget I'm regged and open the cashier.

No downside you can see, really? How about creating a dark market to sell extra tickets, for less than BI value even, because degenerates rather have some extra chips than give a ticket away that they can't even use? Or people using them as a kind of staking arrangement, but then the horse absconding with funds after a big score, causing more needless drama? Please. I'm sure there are many other less than ideal scenarios, but I thought of those two in under a minute.

-BttB

The staking arrangement can happen anyways, regardless of whether you can transfer tickets and what's so bad about people buying tickets for cheap? They get in for cheap, the other players win some chips, the tournament still has the full value and satellites run more frequently. Classic win/win/win, how is that a downside?

Oh, and the satellites frequently have huge overlays or are actual freerolls, so no, other people do not have to cover the BI of the ticket and yes, you can compare it to freerolls in that regard.

Why not just copy Stars' tourney dollar system and have an internal economy around it with people sellimg their extra tickets for T$ and trade them as much as they want.
