Did you include the PERFORMANCE INCREASE in that chart? for Nov. Jupiters....  doesn't look like it....
but nice chart still

Not for the First batch. The first batch is at 550Gh/s we will have to wait and see what the 2nd Batch will give as per GH/s per watt.

Edit: it is important to note that the shares you submit to a pool that is accepted is what pays. duplicates or hardware errors are not always factored into the hardwares true return.

The good news is KNC and Bitfury are the best chips to date to give the closes return for GH/s reported by the miner.

Here is a screen shot of 4 Jupiters with firmware v0.9.9

Is that a custom screen/firmware you have there?

Damn, I hate when everyone talks about difficulty and throws out the charts. It just shows us how little time we all have. I probably won't be able to afford buying new mining hardware since I haven't even broke even with my Saturn and then just spent $2k on modules. I'd love to stay in the game, but it doesn't take a brainer to realize more money going out then coming in.

I guess eventually I will sell my Jupiter for something. The sooner the better I feel. Sad

I hate to even say this... but I switched back to the 0.98.1 beta, it's simply faster... and if one stays off the gui & putty.... it stays "Up there"... 0.99 did not.   my 2C

Seems like KNC is hiring people, does this mean they will have better customer service?

Goosebumps!

I know Wink

I would not rely on any projected network difficulty past Feb 2014 as a reference to how things will end up.
An update to the sheet now reflects the estimated btc return over 12 days.

We've had three more guys join the team this week alone, including one welcome surprise for you guys entry I had a hand in, who will be joining us in the coming months, but for now i'm remaining tight lipped. He's a v.smart guy though, and gels well with the team! Wink
Man, can't you keep a secret?!

Anyway, now that it's out there. I did my interview last week, they loved me. I start Monday morning.

We all went for drinks late last night to celebrate, this is me (left) and bitcoinobama (right). At the time, he was telling me about how he hadn't slept and what a great engineer he was...

Fun times ahead. My first job on Monday is to ensure Cyper gets a free case and our man from Norway is given two free arctic i30's. I vowed to stop KNC's tight-fisted ways and start showing respect to the guys who invested $$$$$$$'s. Hell, these guys have invested 4 or 5 figures in our company, we've got to take better care of them. I said that in the interview and I'll keep saying it.

I'm hooked up right now to get a new firmware out THIS WEEK to address the die0 issues, as our customers have told us it's their number 1 issue. Believe me guys, with me on the job, this issue will be entirely resolved as requested.

Drop me an email [email protected] and I'll sort out any issues you guys have - personally. It's the least I can do for all the trust and money you guys invested in our company.

Sorry....but over 7 grand for a Jupiter in November is totally incorrect...
looks like it needs updated in a few areas.... Smiley

That sheet does not calculate the amount paid per hardware. I left KNC Jupiter at the original first batch price for those who wish to purchase on hand units 2nd hand.
This is to help gauge potential return at 30% network increase. Many say that 30% is too low considering all the hardware entering the market in the coming months. Make a copy and use the document how you wish. It is fairly simple.

If BTC Value goes up to $1000 USD then you can revise it.

Once November batch ships the price will be updated on the KNC units.

Edit: also note that the per month estimated BTC does not calculate increased difficulties over 30 days. SO as the network difficulty rises the return in btc will drop.
I use that sheet to give a per day return in btc/usd during the given network difficulty.

The PCBs were sent for production the week before last (if you count today, Sunday as the beginning of week as I do, and not Monday). That's pretty much when the final design had to actually be chosen as it's pretty much in cement now as the board layout was ordered and are now being made.

Are you saying that the PCBs themselves are now being fabricated (traces etched, holes drilled, etc)?

Or are you saying that the PCBs have already been produced and they are now at the assembly house being populated with the components (pick-and-place, reflow oven)?

...Litecoin miners...

there just aren't the minds free to devote to that project currently and KnC as presently KnC are hiring engineers for the Bitcoin projects currently.

I'm glad to hear that.  I'm all in favor of KnC keeping their focus as narrow as possible.

@Bitcoinorama:

I bought a Cooler Master V1000 80Plus Gold for my November Jupiter.

Is it still ok?

Thanks!

I can't officially recommend that as I've seen the Nov Jupiter pushed higher than 1000w (~1050w), but KnC are still using the Coolermaster v850 to do that, and your PSU is rated at 1000w for 80% load so...

Would using two 750W power supplies be feasible to power one Jupiter?

They said it should work. That's what I plan to do, just use a couple of $30 supplies. Not sure if I will need to connect their grounds though.

But for a Jupiter I'd use 4 360watt supplies and a BBB wall wart.

Ahh, I figured it out.  You guys are making fun of me, aren't ya.

No, it's a serious question. I have one 1000W power supply and two 750W power supplies sitting around from my GPU mining days. I need to power two Jupiters and was hoping to avoid purchasing another power supply.

Unfortunately, I already sold two 1200W power supplies on ebay that would have been perfect because I didn't think I'd ever need them again. That was probably a couple hundred dollar mistake.
