New cgminer binary based on cgminer 3.8.2 up

http://ck.kolivas.org/apps/cgminer/kncminer/cgminer

Note that we may have tracked down at least one of the causes of the memory leak that leads to cgminer being killed for being out of memory and it involves frequently using the API. This means that if you are not actively monitoring its performance on the web interface, you are better off closing the web interface window for it to not repeatedly keep using it.
Thanks Cklovas!... Wow, Something told me Biffa was right the moment I read he was observing the available memory dwindling... and I then tried rebooting, and never visiting the GUI, which seemed to help... so keeping the GUI closed indeed helps...I'm not just crazy... lol
My machines run pretty sweet already though...    but every bit counts!
BTW...
FW 0.99 is working well for me so far.. new peaks reached on pool, and 12 hour average rising...
at first I was thinking about going back to the 0.98.1beta, because it was fastest so far, but over time, the averages on the pool are getting better, and fewer errors than when first rebooted... and has passed the normal 12-hour average mark I was getting on beta...  We'll see what tomorrow brings, but lookin great so far.
Great job Guys&Gals!

I thought getwork-based solo mining didn't work well or at all anymore, and that you needed a stratum proxy of some kind to achieve reasonable efficiency, especially with a large amount of hashpower.

Mining for the hell of it.

In other exciting news...I mined a block today with my Saturn!

First entire block I have mined, it took almost a month of mining 24/7 but it happened.

how you make that?
http://maunderingcabal.blogspot.com/2013/02/bitcoin-mining-log-9-how-to-solo-mine.html

I did mine alittle bit differently.

and then download cgminer or bfgminer and make a file called mine.bat in the cgminer/bfgminer directory

open up mine.bat should look something like this.

I am assuming this will work aslo.
That's so cool....and easy looking....
could we just enter the ip into the pool gui somehow?

Well considering this was all on the same machine i will assume that it will work over a network also. However i am unsure as to how many connections a single instance of Bitcoin-qt can handle. But Yes.

Cool... I "found" the 52 second block on eligius yesterday!

You should have been hashing at BitMinter.  A block that quick would have won you Jupiter in this months mint race.
Doggone!  Tongue
I just found another one 2 hours ago!...wow

Not too impressed with 0.99

knc stats show 565gh, but the pool stats are what matters, showing 530gh on btcguild, much lower than 0.981

Running for about 30 minutes now.

please send some output of this command:

Code:
usr/bin/waas -d

that we can check the diff between our miners, also can the orsoc guys review what happens.

all boards with 0.99 and 4 vrms have the value "-0.1121" ...tested at my friend ,too

For example my volts are minus, others are plus and so on.

Can anyone create an vote for:

1. Yes, let my miner send stats to KNC / Orsoc (switch Now/never)
2. No, all is BS
3. I buy HF 96 Th/s miner
