Dhl have the most big problems
With customs

They did it a lot of times to take money from the buyer

If tell to dhl that you do not want the package let it back to sender

They will give to you without pay anything as taxes
Is very awful company

With FW 0.96 my numbers have gone from 520,525 and 540 to 450,500 and 520 Ghash. This is quite the decrease in performance.
I have been running them for about an hour so it might still be variance, anyone else getting similar results?
//DeaDTerra

are those numbers at the pool or reported back form cgminer ?

CgMiner
//DeaDTerra

thanks
anyway  FeedbackLoop could be right:

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.3356843

e.g. slush found 3 block in less than one hour
I got a hold of Marcus and told him about my numbers, I told him to not start investigating it yet and that I would get back to him in 24 hours with my new numbers as it is possible that it is due to the flushwork as you guys said.
//DeaDTerra

regarding the flushwork thing  read this and following post:

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.3294238

tl;dr giga semi private pools admin said:

"I am seeing higher stale rates from KNC equipment so it looks like they are not flushing work when the stratum server requests but are instead finishing old work and submitting it."

so it seems that KnC mod version of cgminer isn't behaving lnormally in such circunstances

New firmware release didn't appear to change the (low) hashing rates with hosted units.   Currently at 350 and 480.

heard people have been getting refunds on equip and hosting is that something people are considering or are a lot of you gonna ride it out?

(I don't host anything just curious)

Searing

I got tired of the BS and excuses, so I got a refund. CS is, as you said before, fantastic. When I saw shipping going out and hosting getting skipped badly I said enough was enough with this and jumped ship.

Are you sure it's not that block finding went down in past two hours?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that my avg rate window on cgminer has absolutely nothing to do with eligus's blockfinding stats, lolz

I assume those are customers that never got units turned on.  I received 10 BTC from KNC when they came on late and a free month hosting.  One of my units then hashed at 18 GH/s until .95 was released.   Yesterday my best unit which was at 540 went to zero gh/s and it took KNC 21 hours to swap out with unit that is hashing at 480.

They thought the 96 FW would fix the slow unit but that didn't seem to do the trick.

Some of the above details may look bad but if you factor everything in, KNC is rock'n it and I'll give them a chance to fix things.

Be cautioned however .....the guy I talked to said stuff would arrive from Brussels tomorrow to the Midwest usa where I live....I really am not sure either about this in hindsight
perhaps they don't have a clue about the country....(ie how large usa is) anyway.....it was a 'real person" and they said they looked it up..all I have to go on ..but how good their timeline really is i'll guess we will see on Friday...nice enough fellow thou
Depends how far in the Midwest you are from DHL's Cincinnati hub, from where the stuff will probably land.

I take it you can not ssh into hosted units.

Call or email support and ask for a copy of the asic_test (included in 0.96) results and ask them to explain all the faulty cores.

Wow searing has officially saved my ass.

On the phone with DHL as we speak.  They said that KNC never entered a zip code on my shipping address and that it was NOT going to my destination.  I double checked my order details and sure enough I entered everything correctly.

PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND CALL DHL.

Also I was told that my stuff was stuck with customs and I won't likely see anything until Monday what a bummer. oh well Im glad its en route

Saved me too! Thanks, Searing!!!! My gear was headed to the wrong state! DHL had the same city name, but different state and zip code. Phew! The rep said it'd arrive tommorow (Friday).

The only one thing that can save this network is if bitcoin price goes 200 and above within this fall quarter.

Rest assured that Visa will "issue the Visa-B bitcoin debit card" in two weeksTM, which will result in a "increase the value of bitcoin over time due to it's deflationary nature AND the inflationary nature inherent in standard fiat currencies". Meanwhile, "they want to see far less volatility and far more value reflected in the cumulative BTC price. Along with more certain regulation from governments." All because "it is incumbent on the bitcoin community, and especially miners, to implement schemes that DO generate these fees". However, "the increase will not be as proportional and be more incremental. What you are seeing now will be the largest single increase - proportionately - for a given finite period". But there is no major concerns, since "this scheme would require a form of banking. This is not egregious. Banking in and of itself is not harmful to economies".

 Roll Eyes

So you can read.

Can you comprehend, extrapolate, and formulate opinions? Or just spit vitriol? If the things I've said are untrue, then bitcoin is NOT a viable currency.

heh glad to help read my post on the KNC refund of my 2nd miner Saturn 520x was in processing (few posts back) customer service really came thru
in a big way ..was in processing and everything but tell anyone that want to do this to be quick I really think they are gonna wrap this 1st run up in
the next few days....(still amazed had an order 1 day late..only ..so far...at the time I called and the Saturn wad
.in processing..they coulda just hung up an said nothing they could do (I was just
kinda going thru the motions for ego sake with the email)....really went to town tracked down miner (and I assume others) chased it down from the plant
which is located elsewhere all under the current probably hell of the working conditions of KNC now I'd expect....so yeah they coulda done the easy way
and told me it was in processing elsewhere so no chance .lot less work....went the extra mile.....very impressed ...pass this stuff forward who those who
don't know of this small timeline for refunds on after oct 15th stuff
(ie not shipped yet) and to be quick and the DHL stuff ..as a shipper .they don't seem to be too organized in the states at all....not looking forward to seeing how my box arrives

Oh by the way after announcing  ONE HOUR or so ago I was gonna get a paypal refund..on my 520x Saturn 2nd order from KNC..
...paypal has just sent me an email my Saturn 520x has been fully REFUNDED! jeez.....they may not be perfect but I gotta admit they seem to be at least
trying to improve at KNC...and customer service seems to have really taken to the notion of "repeat customers".

AND my Jupiter arrives tomorrow ..this lucky streak has to end just be kind to me on forums tomorrow when my Jupiter tries to pretend it is a "brick" and I yell for help on here!

an't that always the case

Enjoy and Discuss

Was it previously working with 0.95?  Can you flash it back?

The Two that Show Failed no Cores are the empty Slots 6 Asic connections (0 - 5) No connection in 1 and 5.

Going to give it tow hours running at 0.96 (back up that asic_test file) Power reboot, then see test file again.
