So, since you were in the 1-500 group, then KnC adjusted for refunds and non-payments which put your orders in the greater than 1000 range, one might assume they added 1000 to the order numbers, and now no order number is less than 1000?

If they did ship 1400 orders in 7 days, they match BFL's predicted output rate of 200(units)/day.

I'd have bought more, but the PayPal anti-fraud unit called me and wanted to know more about all that money I was sending overseas, what I was buying exactly, and told me to "cool it" or they would have to lock my account pending "further investigation"...

That's when you tell them to suck a cock, otherwise they won't earn any fees from their customer KnC and you'll use a check card instead of using them.

Maybe the folks at KnC 'listened' to the folks that were whining about Sam working on the Data Center instead of hardware.

The 1-500 thing muddies the waters because pre-registered is a hidden number and some 4 figure order numbers I think are shipping because of it.

If you are a 1-500 you probably know.
If not, it will show up on the Order History page, as the device(s) will be labeled as such.
"Jupiter 1-500" for example.

1-500 orders made a pledge to KnC to purchase their product.
Without the pledge, Mr Kennemar and Mr Cole (the K and C in KnC) couldn't receive ORSOC's blessing to move ahead.

So, initial order numbers in the 1-500 group, after realignment for orders that were canceled or went unpaid, fell into 1000-1500 range? How is that?

I feel the 14xx shipment date is good news! July orders start in the 3000 range I think. Production rates have likely stabilized at a higher rate this week than last so we can probably expect more than an additional 1500 orders filled by this time next week, possibly more since Merc's will be faster to build.

They should have definitely let us know that they weren't anywhere near close to being ready for hosting especially for day 1 orders, you telling me there was no kind of inkling, and they had no clue that they wouldn't be ready for hosting from day 1? - "within hours of production" if they even gave us a heads up notice and said guys were a week behind schedule for hosting I would of been cool,and just got a refund for the hosting and changed to shipping. This is bs.

I am happy for you all that did get yours though, you made the right call, for us hosters were leaking bitcoins by the day and counting.

Sadly, the US has become such a police state that any transaction over $1000 is subject to investigation. All the Paypal person would need to do to cause me a world of hurt would be to whisper "money laundering" to the right ear, and I'd find myself in an enormous amount of deep-shit. All bank accounts and everything else I owned confiscated, and my person disappeared into a prison indefinitely, all Constitutional rights suspended - without a trail or a chance at bail - under the NDAA.

Even if that all came to nothing, I'd never be able to board an airplane again. So, I just "cooled it", as recommended.
