I'll be laughing my arse off if in a few hours, they produce a video of working prototype and say deliver/pickup starts tomorrow.

Then everyone would be : "oh thanks bitcoinorama. sorry but yeah you're the best man. sorry we doubted you"

Oh how fast people turnaround when money is involved Tongue

Well anyhow you'll probably hear something from knc today. It's monday 9am. A fresh new week for them.

Unless they still deciding to play the silent game.

But they seem to have disappeared. Well the main guys anyway. Knc forums - sam / kncminer username. Last active 24/25th. kncminer on bitcointalk. Last active 27th

They must be really busy.

Its all very well speculating, but what we would really like is an official answer.  These guys do seem to have been extremely secretive in regards to testing, even after the open day.

I would have hoped for at least a heads up.

The worst case scenario would be The chip doesn't work. They have no money to redo tapeout or refund. They don't know what to say, hence the silence.

I agree that it would be one of he worst case scenarios. But I'm not sure they are out of money. Ppl did chip in quite a lot for their rigs...

But a non-working chip probably means months of delay = noooo

of course, this should happened. in this scenario, I expect communication on daily basis and finance/performance compensation. sorry to say, but this KNC behaviour is the same as BFL before couple of months.

I can't believe, that they are professionals from Sweden.

This reminds me of when Avalon was supposed to deliver, then didn't for two more months.  I have 3 devices on pre-order so I'm just as anxious as the rest of you, but I don't think a single ASIC company has delivered when they said they would, so I wouldn't hold my breath.

Bitfury was delayed a few days, but they announced the delay well in advance of the scheduled ship date. Communication like that makes all the difference.
if knc announced there would be a delay on september batch and to be shipped on October instead = REFUND GALORE

(They better not take too long or I won't make any money.  if they delay they better start shipping more horse power to make up for it)

Maybe at one of the computer shows somebody from a competing miner manufacturing company said a successful September delivery would be inauspicious, looking at Black September and 9/11.

How many people placed their bids SOLELY on bitcoinoramas 'musings' & 'opinions' ?

He made more of an effort to promote KnC than Knc themselves.

Just because towards the end of the expected delivery time he started to chill out does not immunize him from his role in the entire debacle.

He KNEW what he was doing, and he KNEW he would be rewarded for it. regardless if the rest of us end up shafted.

He had better post his holiday pics for us today and explain himself really well or else.....

....Release The Hounds!!

im not sure if anyone noticed what was said to me when I called them Friday when I posted but the3y told me I should have in 1-2 weeks. which means they will mostlikely be late.

Didn't you say your order was not a Day 1 or Day 2 order? - Sadly, It is possible this is why they are saying 2 weeks for you. Alas, this is just speculation as is everything else posted on this forum within the past 2 weeks....
