Shit. I'm getting worried now. The forums just died. Was it taken down, or is it getting DDoSed? Or, do we have a MASSIVE update coming?

Recording daily noon network hashrate, 9/27 topped 1,324,213Gh/s then dropped back yesterday and today is 1,272,428.  Could that 9/27 peak have been KnC?

No hashing on my KnC pool workers.

They're either really busy boxing things or really busy fixing things. Either way, I'll wait.

no bailing for me anyway... the captain will go down with the ship on this one... I have faith in them yet
The silence does bother me a bit tho

No bailing for anyone.
Good, bad, or ugly it is what it is.

Think they underestimated the time it takes to put the ASICs on boards?

Maybe there are unexpected quirks to such a large size ASIC.  Getting all the ball soldered on the grid might be more difficult given the large size.

Lol no. BGA chips aren't soldered one ball at a time -- think conveyer belt going through an Easy-Bake oven Cheesy

Also, is it bad that I'm not too worried? I have faith in KnC, or hell, the manufacturer at this point. In all honesty, it's not KnC's fault if it's late. It all depends on how fast the things can be built. So, at this point don't blame KnC. Who knows, we may see 400 Gh/s... PER CHIP. If you think, they're not using the SO-DIMM FPGA things from ORSoC...

I may need therapy after all this...  The asic 12 step group.   Tongue  Roll Eyes

Lol, nahh.. I think all will be well... you know this reminds me of the time I sold my stock in PEIX that I bought for .25 per share to fund my BFL order which has yet to ship... looking back and seeing PEIX did a 15 to 1 split in shares a week after I sold it, and seeing the price per share now above $3.00 per share. The lesson I have taken away from this is that its not always wise jump immediately simply because the outlook seems bleak... sometimes you have to weather the storm.
