I'm glad to read that demonmaestro received one as well, otherwise I'd have wondered whether it's just a coincidence that I was asking uncomfortable questions yesterday's evening via mail which were pointing out I'm thinking about canceling (at a part of) my order.

Why would they need you to reply to the e-mail after updating your account? This smells of a phishing attempt!

Also, "Med vänlig hälsning" is not there, which is a huge red flag.

EDIT: Ask if it's legit and for further for clarification on KnC accounts subforum: http://forum.kncminer.com/forum/main-category/acccounts

Anyone else got a mail like this one today's morning from Sweden at 08:26 (+0000) ?
Seems like they are generated, since I got one mail for each order in place at the same time.

Dear KnC Customer,

To deliver your order, we need you to log on to your customer account, and update your address.

UPS has informed us that your address contains invalid information that cannot be processed by their system. In order to successfully deliver your order UPS need you to make changes such as add Zip/post code, city or state etc. Please enter as many details as possible to make your address more accurate.

Please reply to this email when you have updated your information.

Thank you again for the order. We look forward to delivering and serving your needs in the future.

Sincerely,

Customer Service

I'm wondering so, because my shipping address is correct.

Mail seems to be written in a rush, since there's no mail signature (knc's address, tel-no,..) as it used to be in place with all previous mails received. There's just a plain "Sincerely, Customer Service".

Are they way closer to shipping than we all expect them to be  Huh
This sounds fishy...

@btc_uzr: care to share complete email header
just to validate the klee "fishy" hypothesis

edit: i've checked my email twice and no trace of email like the one you mentioned

Am I the only one who believes that KNC has several employees on location in Taiwan monitoring every step of the process? I have a hard time believing with this much of their (our) money on the line they would phone this one in. When they say multiple couriers, I suspect it will be the on-the-ground engineers themselves bringing the booty back home victoriously. Would you trust Fedex or DB Schencker to transport your precious chips? Hell no, you buy the seat in coach next to you to bring them home.

i want to belive it so hard

36 members strong at the 50btc KNCMiner team! However only about 6 are doing any hashing/submitting shares. Join up but actually start hashing please!!!

What is the point of a mining team anyway?

Yeah - I was being a smart-ass.   I'm just thinking that most of the people that aren't hashing yet are planning on starting once they receive their rigs.

50 BTC is straight PPS, correct?  I've hashed for most of the pools, but never a straight PPS pool.  How does it pay versus others, like Slush?

EDIT:

Can't get to their webpage for some odd reason....

its all good, lol.

yeah, i guess its just suprising (and scary) to see so many people join that arent even mining now. make me think there are a lot of novices.

yes, 50btc is pure pps. its a 3% fee but income is incredibly consistent and payouts are instant. plus i just like the aesthetics of the site. i havent mined at slush, but i have heard good things about his pool as well....

hmmm, thats odd. www.50btc.com ?

Wow 6 people already got their KNC's ??

lol, listen smart ass! I just thought we could get an early start with current hashing power.
