I wonder how much PH in total Sales KnC did.

Including all Jupiter grade and Neptune grade gear. Not delivered, sold.

"We will not mine with more than 5% of the hash rate we sell"

I came up with a good guesstimate of how many October & November units they shipped:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=170332.msg6002935;topicseen#msg6002935

Roughly 12000 Jupiters (using 600GH as an average hashrate between Oct & Nov units) ~= 7Petahash

They sold 3600 Neptunes. But with refunds it's hard to believe there are more than half still holding their order. Throw in a handful of broken Frankenjups and let's say it's the equivalent of 2000 Neptunes

Roughly 2000 Neptunes ~= 6Petahash

They are reported hashing ~6-8 Petahash @ Boden.

So they are easily mining with 50% of the entire hashrate they SOLD. They are probably mining with 100% the hashrate they have previously SHIPPED.

Either way, they are 100% liars and guilty of fraud and mispresentation*, i.e. knc's business is criminal.

(*Misrepresentation is a concept in contract law referring to a false statement of fact made by one party to another party, which has the effect of inducing that party into the contract. For example, under certain circumstances, false statements or promises made by a seller of goods regarding the quality or nature of the product that the seller has may constitute misrepresentation. )

"Well at least we're better then BFL or Hashfast" is NOT good enough for BTC community. KNC needs to starve to death and the fraudsters running it need to do some jail time.

Let me start first by saying that recently I haven't been a big fan of KNC either, but seeing the ASIC manufacturers landscape around me I feel extremely lucky to have dealt with them and not Hashfast, Cointerra, BFL, etc. If I have chosen any other path/manufacturer I would have most certainly regretted the investment, but with KNC everything turned out very good, not perfect but very good so far.

Yes, they are greedy and wants to mine as many coins as they can for themselves, but at least there are no bankruptcies and lawsuits involved for the majority of their customers.
They could have been total assholes and held onto these refunds much longer that they did and so give back much less coins with the exchange rate going up again.

I guess what I am trying to say is that the ASIC hardware business is like a mine field with many more bad companies, than good ones and a lot of people in this thread were lucky not to land on the bad manufacturers. At least all of my investments turned very profitable so far.

KNC can suck my A$$, they are shit baggers who held my money for MONTHS, lying about progress and 'legaleesing' the shit out of every one of their 2 updates. And the whole time they are using OUR money to compete with us after stating complete BS lies about NOT mining with more then 5% of their sales. All while claiming my refund had to be USD only to issue in BTC 10 WEEKS later! They could come out with a 20 TH/s machine running on a milli watt/ GH and I would not buy it. F())(&)*CK KNC.

KNC leading people to believe Q1 launch was a possibility is totally Unethical and UnProfessional.   Q1/Q2

1 Billion difficulty in beginning of January is different that 14 Billion end of June.

Orama said that in reference to Jupiters which were the best 2013 miner all around.
Based on what? He said he didn't work for KNC b4 October, so it was based on seeing their 8GH fpga prototype at the open day? Which realistically gave him no clue what Jupiter would be like - certainly not enough to devote 14 hours a day of his life telling everyone in this thread throughout the summer how great it would be and how great knc were.

Based on him meeting with them and discussing things and also him having an electronic background and knowing some stuff. He also told me in a PM that Bitmine.ch's projections are way off and he was true so I give him credit for that now.

Only 1 month and a half until we should see the chips in hand. I can wait.
No, only about one week. KNC have promised to deliver all Neptunes in Q2 and repeatedly reported they are on track to do that. So if they are going to fill another DC or two for themselves and ship a few thousand units to idiots loyal customers, they will need to start shipping this week or next at the latest.

I have total confidence this will happen because KNC never lie to loyal customers.  I'm also sure they won't ship an underperforming, faulty piece of crap 2.3TH Neptune because KNC have never shipped faulty or underperforming rigs to their customers ever.

Gotta go, just saw a flock of pigs flying outside the window...  Roll Eyes

1 month and half until SP-Tech has chips in hand for testing. I'm out of the KnC shipwreck so I'm not that interested in their chips, but I am stocking popcorn because this month will be fun.

So KNCFraudsters have to build and ship all Neptunes in the next 30 days and there has been only one post on this thread in the last 24 hours. The anticipation is palpable Cheesy

Well what do you expect when there are in-stock miners with better pricing and performance than Neptune? https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/closedspondoolies-tech-sp10-14-145ths-2795-shipping-598502
Are you moving to Israel soon to become "Spongebob-Tech Director of Communications"? Wink

No need. The magic of Internet allows me to do it from my place too Smiley

lol!! indeed!!

i wonder what his response will be if 'through no fault of their own' spondoolies fail to deliver or fail in any other way...
will you (roadstress) be doing an 'orama and disappearing on us only to come out of the woodwork months later to decry 'it wus nuffin to do wiv me, they owe me faasaands'
before scuttling back into fedorascurity.... (girls size t-shirt scurity)
or up the japseye/ringpiece of the latest, gratest 'kids on the block'     (i spelled it grate as in grate on my fkn nerves, not great)
'ive done my due diligence, and if you dont throw all your money at these guys - then your an idiot'  TMorama

I did throw all my money at KnC last autumn and it was damn worth it. Orama said that in reference to Jupiters which were the best 2013 miner all around. He never said anything about Neptunes as far as I can remember. He only praised KnC in regards to the Jupiter miners so the comparison is a bit off. Only 1 month and a half until we should see the chips in hand. I can wait.

So, today it's June 1st.
Am I wrong or wasn't this supposed to be the day where knccloud should start serving the remaining first batch Neptune customer(s) ??

**remember:
CA batch shipping earlier than first public batch, batch#2 shipping 4 weeks after first public batch but still in Q2:
I'D say they have an interesting understanding about the concept of time.

There will 'soon' be news... like middle of June or so, announcing proudly the cloud-mining starts on 00:00 July 1st I guess.
Let's see.

Hi,

Any information regarding shipping will come in the form of a newsletter update, not a comment on a forum post I am afraid. Please await the next update for further information. I cannot promise when this will be, but it will be soon, so please keep an eye out.

oh so reminiscent of the old 'we'll be selling boards finally so get ur coins handy'

words. don't. mean. anything.

KNC, Spondoolies, and every other popular asic company will soon be cloud contract only.
Why do I say this?
over 50 Chinese asic manufacturer reps showed up to their meeting. http://www.coindesk.com/private-china-meeting-bitcoin-mining-industry-leaders/
Only 3 of them have delivered so far. (including avalon)
Soon there will be so many china asics, there will be no more pre-order bullshit like black friday at walmart, and the prices will drop to the point they simply cannot compete. China will put them in cereal boxes and cracker jacks!
= diff so high that it creates dead bitcoin days and a shortage while everyone saves up an entire year to earn their first satoshi
I smell a price rise coming.
The time to earn anything substantial (BTC wise) with a miner is growing short IMHO.
Kudos to those who were lucky enough to get spondoolies early on...

For once I agree with! LOL

I have been checking the out new Avalon website (Store Front) and been seeing their new 40nm 800GH/s (890GH OC'd) Avalon price dropping, it's down to 2.76BTC's (it was 3BTC's last week)... If KNC doesn't get moving they could end up having to ship us 2 free Neptune's! Smiley

I also start to wonder if the numbers in Bitcoin transactions that I see on fiatleak going to China are really the what they are mining not what their physically using Bitcoin to buy and sell products ans services with?

Are there anny confirmed delivery dates on the Titan(ic) scrypt ?
The only thing confirmed is there is no refunds. So expect Titan(ic) delivery on a BFL timeline.

Sam: Tell me how you got all that money and shipped everything late?
Josh: You'll learn.

I just sent back one of my boards that lit on fire.     When I heard people complain about shipping cost I thought they were just being cheap but when I went to UPS, it was $240 for the slowest route from Florida.   Ended up going with USPS for $70.    I'll see the board back in a month and who knows if it will make $70.  =)

Anyways.   Just feeling the pain others have felt sending units back.
