Don't let the nam-shub in your operating system.
...the current controller could support 1.2TH/s and space was left to add a second linux controller if needed.

Actually I would think a BBB could support a lot more than 1.2TH/s, there are 1TH boxes with Pi's in them ....

rm -rf stupidity
I wish they would at least post some new teaser shots.  They are getting rid of the control boards because they originally stated (on page 7 of the news or 6 (I was looking for a pic of the back of the board)) that the current controller could support 1.2TH/s and space was left to add a second linux controller if needed.  So I'm guessing they have some new one and just like everything else trying to get rid of the excess "old" stuff from the datorhall.

does anyone know where you can buy the ethernet part of the beagelbone(top part)

The top part with the Ethernet jack is the Beaglebone Black, the larger board is the custom controller board.

except the ether port has been removed from the KnC 'custom' BBB's

Actually if you look the Ethernet Jack is there, it's the power jack that's missing.  (how can you run a miner without Ethernet?)

buy silver!
I dont think im going to need any more boards, but the one beaglebone is broken and ill need plastic pieces for one box.  Some broken boards seem to work, some of them really slow.  If I ran 22 boards, should be close to 3, some boards are overheating, 118 highest temp, i turned those down.  I stole the beaglebone out of my oct jup.  ran out of therma pasta, enough testing today, hopefully my garage doesnt burn down tonight...

Most likely
1) "We are on track. Plan B is out of question. Wafers are produced and we will receive the chips these days. No more refunds, since production (of the cases/controllers/whatever) has already been started. Shipping will start begin of June."

Less likely
2) "We delayed yesterday's news because we recognized a design flaw in our 20nm product. We wanted to be 100% sure about it before telling you that it needs another 6 months from now on to receive working ones, but you will receive another free miner, so chill"

Or if they want to screw you totally (and keep diff low for themselves)
3) "Dear customers, due to frozen USD funds and all the cancellations we can not afford to assemble the miners on our own and will send you for each order a wafer. The PCB design will be available on github soon as well as a list of referenced producers. Each wafer can yield up to 7TH/s and we feel this is a proper compensation."

Sam has a job for you :-p
