Personal text my ass....
Brock Pierce (a KNC Founder) is notably the main one of the "Group" Bidding for Gox!
If they save Gox....  I will worship the ground they walk on.

Can u inagine an ex-Goldman Sachs/Morgan Stanley heading up Gox? wow

Worship the ground they walk on? Dude, you gotta get laid more often. Stop putting your nose up people's asses and just be a man. If Gox was owned by anyone affiliated by KNC it would be the downfall of the bitcoin community. There would be more fees, taxes, charges then regular banks have. Horrible customer service and just a plain miserable mess that would always be better from the latest annoucement they make that better things are coming but never do. Gox needs to be dead and buried.

You can buy bitcoin for $370 right now. Why in the world would anyone put money towards mining hardware. As I said before, it will go down to $200 and stay there for a while. People spending $10k on vaporware when bitcoin prices are this cheap. Stop drinking the kool aid people!

The only good thing about bitcoin dropping is that KNC makes a lot less money.
and enables savvy traders to buy at a good price...   Wink
Alot less....no, not really....   remember they are adding to that facility on a daily basis, so droppage yes, but not by much

True, but you can be sure they are making a shitload less than they were predicting with btc this low

***If Brock saves Gox, all will be forgiven, and who knows what the possibilities are...  but its looking like Kerples has no choice really but to accept the offer!
Forgive me, but this is epicness to the max for me. This is more than huge, it's unprecedented!
It will be the best thing that could ever happen to the entire Bitcoin community imho.
Assuming all debts! Literally, the Boden facility could be working to revitalize the whole network helping with paying off Gox's debt(Broch's cut at minimum), and taking over!
WOW Sure puts a spin on things...!

Just a hint...

I had 3 very first Neptune orders.

I refunded them the day after this plan b bullshit.

Now I have 14+ th working....

What do you think?

Nicely done. I bought BTC directly for my refund, making 2BTC in the process on the price diff.

I do believe however because of the difficulty level increasing that KNC will need to make the first batch of Neptune's at around 6~8TH/s and the 2nd batch 10~12TH/s for there to be and ROI, and my numbers could be off by +/- 1TH too.

They won't.  The power consumption would be too high and nobody would be able to run them.

Actually people would still be able to run them, it would just require them to run them inside a co-lo.  Smiley

And the co-lo will suck all the profits away. So what's the point?

The game is over.

Yes...they played us well.

This may be true but now they've made enemies and painted a target on themselves.  Their day will come.

And I don't want to be boastful.

Just wanted to help to decide....

There are other good options out there.

I was a very happy Knc customer, but now very disapointed...

Edit: And now continue to install S2-s... Smiley

Sorry if this is a noob discovery, but no refunds on the Titan made my decision easy.  Refunding.  Even the "Customer Appreciation" batch isn't worth it.  The Bitcoin price needs to be $1200 to break even, and that involves leaving the machines run for a LONG time.  The future is so uncertain with these astronomical difficulty increases, possible equipment failure downtime, etc.

$10K is just too much for each Neptune.  Even if they started shipping the rigs right now, which they won't, we lose almost $2K waiting on them for a week.  Even the Franken Jup doesn't make sense.

Buying BTC right now versus waiting for the price to go back to $1200 earns you 2.5 BTC to 1

First of all you can't really compare BTC to USD like you are doing right now. Since BTC isn't regulated there is no regulatory body that sets it's value if there was we would see the price of one Bitcoin in USD be the same price across all the exchanges around the world. Bitcoin is only worth what someone will pay for it.
