Also got the information from Knc that they will not offer hosting for these 400 3Ths Jupiter boxes.

of course not.. they are only ditching these to make room for better stuff

Did you ask them why didn't they just sell jupiters/modules back in Feb instead of raping your good faith in them?

Because without the "Neptune" product they cannot continue the Pre-order Ponzi scheme.

Now they have "Scrypt Mining Machines" available for Pre-order.  omg  .  Q2/Q3 shipments means latest Sept when difficulty will be probably 50-100x by then.
but since people have caught on, their sales have now lagged....I haven't heard a sold out annoucement on that unit yet, have they?

I expect BFL too fold in the near future too. They are too slow to market.   They haven't delivered a new product to market since taking Pre-orders for 2012 asics that finally delivered last year.

A tell tale sign they are falling behind is when they keep lowering prices and diluting early order takers for stuff that isn't developed yet.

The only thing they have on hand and can ship now is the 10GH Jaly for $349.  LMAO

And the class action lawsuit filed a few days ago should help too!

Just Checked my order history with KNC, and it is now officially changed to 3TH Jupiter instead of Neptunes. It is happening.

Wish you the best, your money is better spent on BTC now..

But... PM me when it comes in, should be able to turn it up to 4.5Th/s
are you referring to overclocking??

Glow Stick Dance!
I'm as pissed off at KNC as anyone else but I still have a CA batch Neptune order for some unexplainable reason, lol.

I honestly don't think they'll ever deliver 20nm and it was just a ruse to fund the datacenter.  But I would actually like to see some more details on the 3THs Jupiter.

What is the power usage on that monster?  What kind of PSU(s) will it require.  Can it be run safely on household circuits?

Is it just parts or is it somewhat preassembled?

Are these used Datorhall boards?

Many more questions remain unanswered.

Of course they will ship it at September

I am sure 100 percent and I will bet with anyone here 2 btc for that

If knc tell that will be delivered at September nobody will order one
But with the trick of q2 to q3 a lot order Titan

I can accept escrow for the 2 btc bet if anyone want to bet

Also bit coin donation for my English lesson is welcome

For all i care they can ship in December too. As long as i get the 3TH (exactly what i paid for) in June then i get what i paid for. On top of that i get free hosting for those 3TH until they ship me something. Does it matter so much if you get what you paid for, but not as a physical product?(actually it matters, but i don't want to talk so much about this. i paid for 3TH, i get 3TH)

I will be impressed if they actually start the hashing (for customers) in June. I didn't expect them to start the hashing until July 1. Although that doesn't change the fact that delivered Neptunes will never break even. A refund now would be far more profitable.

A refund would be far more profitable only if you buy bitcoins and the exchange rate goes up. If you don't do this then you are on 0. No profit, no loss. You get just a full refund for what you paid for.

"Q1/Q2"  MEANS---  March or April..

No it doesn't.
It was clear that it didn't when it was first announced, and several people loudly said so.

Why is basic math so difficult for some people? Oh yeah, everyone drops out of school these days.

A year is 12 months(shocking revelation, I know). Divided into quarters ( 12 % 4, 12 * 1/4, however you want to look at it ) consists of three month long quarters. This also, may be shocking to some.

[Jan] [Feb] [March] <---- that is quarter 1

[Apr] [May] [June]  <---- that is quarter 2

[July] [Aug] [Sept] <---- that is quarter 3

[Oct] [Nov] [Dec  ] <---- that is quarter 4

To say that something will "arrive Q1/Q2" is short for saying "Delivery of your product will take place in the following time period: Quarter 1 (January 1 - March 31) and Quarter 2 (April 1 - June 30)...

Which is to say that it will ship between January 1 and June 30.

by putting Q1/Q2, KNC gained something called the human imagination to work for them.

Had they put this clearly as you state, "Which is to say that it will ship between January 1 and June 30, " their sales would have clearly been hurt since this clear and direct, no guessing or imaging.

Q1/Q2 can be misconstrued as end of Q1 (march) or early Q2 (April), and KNC was most likely if not fully aware that Q1 was a pipe dream but did not man up and define that.

ps. that is why i settled for the conversion - not happy not sad

pss. IF it were BITMAINTECH, in a day or 2, we would hear, "400 conversions met, shipping started!!" They have been known to ship early.

Soon the refunds will stop (in just a week or two) and then the crying will really commence.

Here is how it will go:

KNC: Chips are here, testing has started - No more refunds as of right............NOW!

KNC: Oh testing is taking more time.

KNC: Oh my dog is having kittens....

KNC: Oh we are closed for a month in June

KNC: Oh Oh Oh Oklahoma.......

KNC: Happy July we started shipping today, should be done in 10-12 days.

BITCOIN: 18 BILLION DIFFICULTY

CUSTOMERS: Oh but they gave us 4 TH instead of 3 so we mine $38 a day! Wooo hoooo

Point is, KNC is not fair.

They have a datacenter up and running, but they deliver "plan B" as late as possible.
Fact is, in August, even if they deliver 10 TH, its the same worth as now delivering 3 TH.

Its the same as selling a holiday to the beach, but sending the tickets to late, so the holiday becomes worthless.

When they want to be fair, they deliver 3TH cloudhash today, not tomorrow.

But time is the key and the rising difficulty the most critical factor.
Speaking their very own words: "We know as well as everyone in this business that time is a critical part of the process."

And I wonder why Bitmaintech, Dragonminer and Spondoolish have similar products ready to ship without the need of thousends of customers paying upfront 10k each.
this will be the last time knc get pre-order money, and it's because they will never need it again. I think they started out like Luke, but ended up like daddy Darth

the force is now not with them

My opinion is that when you place any pre-order you have take in to consideration the timeliness of delivery and what the competition is working on within the same delivery timeframe.

What was not clear and this is where KNC turned against the hand that fed them, is they turned into the competition. If they were honest and stated that they were personally going to add x amount of hash rate to the network before you get your order, then fair enough you, know what your getting into.

They have destroyed any chance of a decent return for the money, because they are greedy and don't give two farts about there customers.

We have a saying in the North of England that sums them up.

"A bunch of tossers"

What? They are providing 400 customers the hashrate that they paid, but faster than promised. For the rest of the customers they will provide the paid hashrate, but in June(again in the shipping window).

I will be impressed if they actually start the hashing (for customers) in June. I didn't expect them to start the hashing until July 1. Although that doesn't change the fact that delivered Neptunes will never break even. A refund now would be far more profitable.

I like big BITS and I cannot lie.

Which is to say that it will ship between January 1 and June 30.

Of course these noobs who can't understand what Q1/Q2 means weren't present here one month ago to cry about KnC not delivering them the miners. Now that the exchange rate dropped and the hashrate keeps climbing at a steady 20% per diff rise they got scared.

Who's got big balls? We've got big balls!

But I'm no idiot, I refunded my neptune in January.
