The latest price correction should have a chilling effect on difficulty increases. BTC price movements tend to occur quickly and are hard to anticipate, so load up on BTC while you still can...  Smiley

Except for the PHs and PHs of pre-orders which are going to be used no matter what.

If/when all the companies are selling from stock or have very short (say 30 day) pre-order windows the exchange rate might affect it but the "spike" likely drove in lots and lots of PH/s worth of pre-orders which will remain even when the price crashes back.

Bitcoin never going above $500 may have slowed pre-orders but the spike to $1200 and then falling back to $500 is just a lose lose for miners.

When I enter my account thru the reseller portal it looks like my regular account.  All my orders are there too ...Do the machines I buy normally count towards the ten required for a free jupier??

Sam told me that yes, if you make purchases using your reseller link, it's no different than using someone else's--that particular reseller ID is credited with each sale. So if you bought 10 whatevers with your reseller ID, you will receive 1 bonus whatever.

Not too sure, I would think so if you bought using your reseller link though.
it looks as if someone was able to order ten thousand machines in there...that simply cant be right
http://reseller.kncminer.com/orders

Never seen that before, looks wrong.

I normally just go to: http://reseller.kncminer.com/orders/user click on the timeline i want to see and it brings them up.

If one believes in the long term viability of Bitcoin, the latest price correction is not a bad thing... From a mining perspective, a higher BTC price will increase the speed of the network much faster, making mining more difficult.

The latest price correction should have a chilling effect on difficulty increases. BTC price movements tend to occur quickly and are hard to anticipate, so load up on BTC while you still can...  Smiley

If the price moves the opposite way and goes to $10,000, difficulty will go up faster than any of us have ever seen.
Yeah...looks suspiciously like a market manipulation, so China higher-ups can buy in maybe....lol
But I'm enjoying the volatility while trading...  doin well

BTW.....
Could someone tell me how this re-seller portal stuff works....
I don't quite get the input fields here....

 Huh

I was reading that the Chinese govt has told the exchanges they can no longer convert to fiat or deal (trade/move/etc) with fiat at all, rendering them no longer an exchange.

Anyone else confirm this?

Wonder if they're doing this to cause a drop on purpose. To what end would be the question.
