I´m very excitet to see where syscoin will go in 2018. If the new platform will be userfriendly, then this can be one of the biggest projects in the whole crypto world. We will see where this will go.

Syscoin entering the year 2018 will be more popular, they are very solid from the team and the community until until now they become one of the options for holding.
who heads a new team and what the team members as they are known, what previous projects they had. if we poznokomitsya with a new team.

Although we are growing, we aren't a new team by any means, Syscoin has been around sins 2014; I'm one of the co-founders (but not the leader, that's Dan Wasyluk, Blockchain Foundry Inc CEO and he has managed the Syscoin team since the start; he's also the OP of this thread- Danosphere).

What have we worked on? Syscoin, Blockmarket, Syscoin API, Releasing 3 microsoft Azure products and much, much more that is currently under NDA and cannot yet be discussed.

Our team is also comprised of several developers that have many years of software development experience.

You can see our constantly growing team, right here:

When you use Blockmarket, will there be a percentage taken out to use the marketplace for sellers?

Oh duh, I just read about the fees. Sorry for the redundant question!

No worries, we appreciate our community's inquisitive minds!

why are the masternode boxes checked if they aren't live yet? is there a planned release date?

Some time ago someone wrote that they should be launched on February 28, but I'm not sure. Can anyone confirm this?

No specific date is set for Syscoin 2.2 yet, as soon as our development is complete and tested, we will set a block number for the fork and we will inform our community members, partners, miners and pools. Keep an eye out for our news!

The actual development of masternodes is completed and has been tested via our Public Beta on Testnet, however, the next version of Syscoin Core will also include Assets and Z-DAG (Zeroconf transactions) which haven't been thoroughly tested yet but are currently in Beta. Dates will be determined as soon as it is ready, this is ground-breaking technology and needs to be as secure and bug-free as possible.

Somebody said up-thread that MNs are live on testnet. Often that means that the dev work is done and a rollout will happen when testing is done. This can take time so try to be patient. Also, you can help with testing if you run a masternode on testnet yourself. Might be a good idea if you plan on buying one...

Current Sys coin price looking good and attractive for buying.

Hmm well it does seem to be bucking the downtrend in most other coins. I suppose that could be because it's backed by a $3 mil investment? Of course that's not too much money, but also the money was not raised in an ICO... most of those are scams.

Current Sys coin price looking good and attractive for buying.

It's indeed an attractive price for buying with the recent dip. Same goes for other altcoins. But if you bought 1 month ago at the peak prices, it's tough luck.

I've been following this project for a bit because it's nice to see a decentralized marketplace.  I'm impressed you are planning on solving the address problem by offering a username instead. Why do you think this problem hasn't been solved yet? I think even this one small feature is huge.

Currently, we use a combination of both, you initially get a Syscoin address similar to Bitcoin's original convention and you purchase and Alias(Indentity/Username) that links to an address. Blockchain technology is in constant evolution, controlling your own identity without centralization is extremely important to the future of our world which is why we are also part of the Decentralized Identity Foundation, among partners like Microsoft & IBM.

That is a really unique idea. It is going to provide a lot of convenience for me and most others. Thanks for taking the time to implement that!

I'm interested in BlockMarket. What currencies does it support other than syscoin and how are the fees regarding each of the currencies? What is the advantage of using syscoin?

Currently our UI supports direct ZCash, Bitcoin & Syscoin payments (like all coins this has miner fees which are very low for Syscoin but much higher for ZCash and Bitcoin).

Blockmarket desktop, however, allows you to use up to 32 cryptocurrencies via Changelly and Flyp.me, costs are based on the fees that those exchanges charge.

One of the big advantages of using Syscoin is definitely the fees, it is much less expensive to use it compared to using other coins. Also, even if you do end up using another currency, you will still require a small amount of Syscoin to pay for network fees.

Changelly’s ever-growing roster of cryptocurrencies currently stands at 23: Bitcoin, Syscoin, Monero, Zcash, Dash, Ripple, Litecoin, Dogecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin Gold, Digibyte, EOS, Expanse, GameCredits, Golem, Lisk, Lunyr, Gulden, NXT, Potcoin, Augur, DigitalNote & Verge.
Flyp.me currently supports 16 cryptocurrencies and are continuing to add more: Bitcoin, Syscoin, Blackcoin, Dash, Decred, Dogecoin, Ethereum, Faircoin, Flyp.me Token, Gamecredits, Gridcoin, Litecoin, Pivx, Peercoin, Creativecoin & Zcash.

I'm glad to see you are benefiting those who are using Syscoin. I think that will go a long way in the widespread adoption of Syscoin. I am also glad that other popular coins are available to use for convenience.
