It would appear the API does not work for AwesomeMiner, which is probably the biggest farm management tool out there..

I've tried setting both --api-bind-telnet and --api-bind-http and neither give me data Sad

Try to start miner without -b, --api-bind-telnet and, --api-bind-http arguments. Then in browser on the same rig open 127.0.0.1:4067 and you will see that API is working. After that setup your network and firewall to access rigs API remotely.

In addition, we need the documentation about available methods. With examples of requests Smiley

We are going to release a new version in a few hours, hopefully your problem is resolved in 0.5.1 (we fixed a lot of bugs in 0.5x)

I am using t-rex miner for windows version 0.5.1 on 8 rigs with lyra2z algo on f2pool.com.

The same problem happening repeatedly on all my rigs in same situations. Quite often all rigs in same time fails with the same error like "Cuda error the launch timed out and was terminated" or something else - it does not matter. In this case special software closing miner, deleting all log files in t-rex folder and then starting t-rex miner again. Nevertheless, "failed to remove file 'C'" error occurs 2-3 restarts in a row. Due to this error T-rex miner restarts unnecessary times.

Code:
20180718 11:37:27 WARN: Logger: failed to remove file 'C': Пpoцecc нe мoжeт пoлyчить дocтyп к фaйлy, тaк кaк этoт фaйл зaнят дpyгим пpoцeccoм

What is the file 'C'?
Where is its location - in what folder?
Why is it happens? All log files deleted before start miner. What else files do miner use outside of its folder?

Hi everyone, we just released a new version of our miner - 0.5.1

Changes:
Faster phi2, lyra2z, x17, c11.
Added new algo HSR.
Added API (HTTP JSON [preferable option, very flexible] and telnet ccminer compatible) - pending integration with monitoring software (ethmonitoring, awesome miner etc.)
Multiple bug fixes, new config options, failover pools.

It would appear the API does not work for AwesomeMiner, which is probably the biggest farm management tool out there..

I am testing T-Rex miner with my GPUs  and Lyra2z algo,
and it is giving highest hashrate from all other miners,
BUT power consumption is also a lot higher then other miners,
as well as temperatures.

Is there a way to reduce power consumption,
and proposed settings for bat file?

It actually uses a little less power than CryptoDredge, but hashrate is almost 20% higher. Magic! Cheesy

I'am using windows version 0.4c.
Sometimes after restart miner it is do not start mining with only one row in log file.

Code:
20180717 14:58:27 WARNING: Logger: failed to remove file 'C': Пpoцecc нe мoжeт пoлyчить дocтyп к фaйлy, тaк кaк этoт фaйл зaнят дpyгим пpoцeccoм

Sometimes after this error "failed to remove file" miner continue mining, but do not write in log file first rows with version of miner, count of gpu devices and name of the pool:
Code:
20180717 12:05:20 T-Rex NVIDIA GPU miner v0.4c

I am using additional software to control miner and need the count of gpu's to check that it is correct. May these rows about count of gpu devices and name of the pool to be in log file all the time miner start to avoid restarts of miner when gpu count check do not proceeds?

Any News on API Support? Read above that it was expected with windows release.
What about Linux?

We plan to release it today with several other improvements.
Will it be a ccminer compatible API?

T-Rex supports command line arguments similar to that of ccminer:
lyra2z:
Code:
t-rex -a lyra2z -o stratum+tcp://pool.bsod.pw:2159 -u -p d=0.01
phi:
Code:
t-rex -a phi2 -o stratum+tcp://pool.bsod.pw:6667 -u -p d=0.01
tribus:
Code:
t-rex -a tribus -o stratum+tcp://pool.bsod.pw:2260 -u -p d=0.01

Dev fee
Dev fee is set to 1%. When the miner starts and stops mining dev fee it reports it to the console output.

Release notes
0.4c
Added Phi2.
JSON config file support. Multiple bugfixes.
Miner source code is rewritten from scratch and no longer based on ccminer.

0.3a
Faster Lyra2z, Tribus and slightly faster Phi1612.
Warning: If using Lyra2z in this version you will likely need to lower your overclock settings and probably also increase the power limit.

0.2
Added Lyra2z and Tribus.

0.1
Initial release. Phi1612 added.

ctrl + f will give ability to undervolt it in afterburner. i managed go from 13.7mhs at ~650 watts down to 13.1mhs at 490 watts of power usage, while only recuding power usage to 65% its was still using 600 watts with more or less the same hashrate and more heat. with coolminer i had 11.1 mhs @ 450 watts

13.1mh with? how many cards?

i get 13.5mh with 4x480 and tdxminer

Does anyone know how to put a restart function in?  If internet goes down, sometimes it will not always reconnect I have been noticing and gives cuda errors
I think you have CUDA error by overclocking memory with P2 "on".

What do you mean p2 on?

I think he means P2 = Performance Level 2. There are different Performance Levels your GPUs can work with, P0 - P3. Based on these levels your graphics clock and memory transfer rate are set to certain frequencies. The higher your performance level the smaller the rate you could overclock because it is already running at higher rates. So you need to find out the level and adjust. That's what I understood. You can find that out with "Nvidia X Server Settings" under PowerMizer - I saw a couple screenshots but I have never used it and I also don't know how to switch between these levels. But I hope that it helps you a little...
