Yes, there are other small teams like hong kong, India, and Afghanistan who could not make it to the finals, but not Srilanka.
India-Small team? Lol. Your consistent hate against India is hilarious sometimes since you come up with all kinds of crap in order to justify your hate towards them. Idiots like you are the reason why India-Pakistan relations aren't improving.

I hope i was that big that by eliminating me would have helped improve the relationship between the two countries. But unfortunately, this is not the case. Though this does not fit here but the Indian army's hate towards Kashmir's innocent women and children is way more destructive as compared to my hate towards the Indian team but you people are just blind.  Cry

Ok, the Indian team is the best team; they win or they lose, they are the biggest team. Even the champions Srilanka are minnows against them.

Now please ask your government to stop the hate against your neighbors  Huh

All the participants for the Women's U-19 T20 World Cup has been finalized, with Indonesia and Rwanda making the entry in an ICC tournament for the first time. A total of 16 countries will take part, and the notable omissions are Thailand and Netherlands.

https://emergingcricket.com/news/indonesia-and-rwanda-set-to-make-their-icc-world-cup-debuts/

I am not sure why the United States was given a direct qualification slot (along with Zimbabwe). I don't think that these two teams deserve direct entry. If other teams need to play the qualifiers, then what is so special about these two?

England vs India women's league t20 match today England set a target of 143 for 6 to India, actually many people don't watch this game in the last minute only the number of runs but Mandana batted brilliantly Mandana the unbeaten batsman scored 79 runs and hit 13 fours.  Also I have to say England's freya kemp batted very well England set a target of 143 runs India overtook their target and won by 146 runs India all in all it was a hard fought match and a game to be enjoyed
I saw the highlights of this match. Indian teams commitment on the field was brilliant as compared to how they fielded in the last match. Radha Yadav and wicketkeeper Ghosh were simply brilliant. Because of these two players a lot of wicket fell into India's kitty.

If it was not Freya Kemp's agressive batting England wouldn't have reached 142 and she would be a great asset to the English side as she is an all rounder in the future. Mandana was in full control of this match she all by herself drove Indian to the win. Good comeback by India! The series is now level with one more match to be played.

No, I understand what you wanted to say, but I don't understand what you are trying to implement by saying that.

A team taking part in a certain tournament for a long time does not mean that they are going to be good in it. They have taken part in the Asia cup for 15 times but we also have to remember that Asia is the region that has the most competitive cricket teams in the world.

India has always been one of the best teams in the Asian region for a long time. Not only in the Asian region back also in the whole world, India has been one of the best.

So, if you are trying to say that Pakistan has played 15 times in the Asia Cup and only has two Asia cup wins and you are trying to implement that they should have won more than that I am not going to agree.

Pakistan really need to win Asia cup more the  2 times, keeling in view there level of cricket and number of times they participated in Asia cup. In last Asia cup they don't appear in final with any game plan and with that strategy they can't win even if they participate 50 times in Asia cup.

Pakistan managed to win the trophy only twice out of 14 attempts.
Pakistan has participated in the Asia Cup competition for a total of 15 times (including the recently completed one), and out of this they managed to win the trophy only 2 times. India has won 7 times (50% strike rate) and Sri Lanka is close behind. So there is something wrong with the way the Pakistan team is performing. On one match they are defeating the top ranking team (India) and in the next match they are struggling against a tier-2 test nation. Absence of Shaheen is just an excuse. If that is the case, then India was also missing their strike bowlers.

The problem with team like Pakistan is that whenever they win they don't care what mistake they have done. All focus is on celebrations. Even after Afghanistan win nobody pointed out what went so wrong that team struggled to win against such a weak team. In final Pakistan really don't have a game plan and they deserve to lose.

He means to say that Pakistan has played in 14 Asia cup till now and in those 14 occasions, they have managed to win the trophy only 2 times, meaning Pakistan are the Asian cup champions two times as compared to India who has won seven times and Srilanka who have won it six times.
Anyways, it's only for record purposes and people do not remember the history.

Pakistan just performed the way they always perform - unpredictably. This is a team that managed to beat the much hyped Indians. They almost went down against Afghanistan, and only the last ball sixes from Naseem Shah saved them. But then they performed poorly against the Lankans when it mattered the most. Their vulnerabilities are out in the open. First of all, they lack an experienced spinner. And in sub-continental conditions, you can't win matches without quality spin bowlers. And then, Shaheeh Shah Afridi's absence was felt in almost every match.
You forgot the out-of-form Babar Azam in the Asia cup. Then the lack of energy & coordination to stop and catch the ball on the field. Worst performance by the middle order and unable to form any partnership. They did what was not expected of a team who got an opportunity to play in the finals. After India now Srilanka won the Asia cup for the maximum time. India has won the title 7 times and Srilanka has won 6 times.
Yeah.. Pakistan managed to win the trophy only twice out of 14 attempts. And it is not surprising. In order to win a major tournament, you need to perform consistently. I know that Pakistanis are very dependent on Babar Azam on the batting department (and Shaheen for bowling). His lack of form was a major reason for this debacle. Anyway, they should look in to the positives. They managed to win a match against India, and that too in a comprehensive manner. Reaching the final is by no means a small achievement.

In spite of this, it must be said that Pakistan's performance is really inconsistent and that they rely on certain players to perform consistently. They did not have Shaheen Shah Afridi to play with and Babar Azam did not play well. I think it was really terrible for them to have to go through that. But I think that they have performed well enough so that they will be able to reach the finals. Throughout this tournament, they have had a lot of bad luck. On the other hand, Sri Lanka was very lucky in this tournament, winning matches that they probably shouldn't have won.

Shaheen was not in the playing XI in this series and if any team just depends on one or two players, they can be exposed anytime and this is what happened with Pakistan.
On the other hand, there were no big names in the  Srilankan team but they played as a unit, everyone chipped in and eventually, they were able to lift the cup.

Also, India has won the Asia Cup the greatest number of times, that is seven times. While Pakistan has won this cup only 2 times.
So, if anyone call India a small team. he/she can only satisfy his personal ego as the world would never believe this.

Below is the champion winners table which speaks for itself as who is the big team and who is a small team.  Cool

Defeat will be in the game but when that loss is against a small team that too in the final match of any tournament, it is definitely hard to accept. But it has to be said that when Sri Lanka team under pressure, Pakistan can make them look silly. As a result of which Sri Lanka was able to score big and finally they win the Asia Cup.

How can you call Srilanka a small team as they defeat all other teams to reach the final and defeated Pakistan in the final also. They are not a small team by any means.

That's why we should not underestimate any team . Because of Sri Lanka's poor performance in the middle, people started thinking of this team as a small team. And After the end of asia cup Sri Lanka proved them wrong . And they are calling Sri Lanka a small team so far, Sri Lanka has been the champion of the Asia Cup five times.

The Sri Lankan tournament started off with the worst possible start against Afghanistan, but went on to beat another team consecutively. Throughout the tournament, Sri Lanka stood out with their standout performance and that will have an impact on the upcoming ICC Men's T20 World Cup.
Agreed. They consistently improved throughout the tournament due to which them winning the cup didn't really surprise me. Won a decent amount of money too betting on them in the finals.

Considering their horrendous economic situation, they truly needed this which is why I felt happy for them when they lifted the cup.

Is it because India did not make it to the finals that you consider them a small team? The reading of that actually made me laugh out loud. India is by no means a small team. We may have to change many things as a result of India's early exit from the tournament.

Sri Lanka's target was too big? I cannot call the target of 171 runs a big target. Because against an experienced and strong bowling lineup like India, Pakistan was able to win despite batting at a target of 182 runs. Pakistan could have won the target of 171 runs if their batsmen had performed well.

Babar Azam has been out of form since the start of this tournament. So a good performance was not expected from him against Sri Lanka. But I expected better performance from Fakhar Zaman and Mohammad Nawaz. If these two players could have played well then Pakistan could have become champions.
I agree - some people are just commenting
171 run was not a big target - but Pakistan do not have strong batting line like always and they not lucky yesterday that is why they lost the cup
The target is reachable, because in 120 balls 171 runs required. There is early wicket fall and further there is a good partnership, but the runrate isn't maintained. This increased the pressure at the end overs. Particularly from the 12th over onwards Pakistan tried to take chances and nothing gave hands.
Pakistani team played okie - but Sri lankan Team  played really well
But winning and loosing is the part of the game - Pakistan came so far that is itself very admirable.
