The target is reachable, because in 120 balls 171 runs required. There is early wicket fall and further there is a good partnership, but the runrate isn't maintained. This increased the pressure at the end overs. Particularly from the 12th over onwards Pakistan tried to take chances and nothing gave hands.

Pakistan was looking overconfident in the match and they were considering themselves a superior team to Srilanka. If you do not take your opponent seriously they can beat you on any given day and this is what happened in the finals. Even, in the match before the finals, Pakistan lost to Srilanka and did not learn any lessons from that match too.

Over confidence always pays back and the same is being experienced by Pakistan in the finals. Thinking superior than the other team is a wrong perspective. Whether they're small or big, it is good to watch their performance and make plans accordingly so to turn it a winning match. Here Pakistan failed and were over confident on their performance. The confidence level could've gone even high during the first ten overs of the their innings.

Pakistan has won all the matches in this Asia cup without Babar and Fakhar scoring any significant runs. Only Rizwan was a consistent performer in the top 3 batsmen. I think Pakistan to Sri Lanka player Shakti Shali. I didn't think Sri Lanka will win this match. I thought Pakistan would win the match but it didn't happen. If Fakhar and Babar batted well, Pakistan could have won easily even after batting at a target of 170 runs. Pakistan needs to reduce its dependence on these three players. After watching this final match if someone still insisting Pakistan is quality team then surely I have feeling he needs to be rethought about this because they have never been quality team they never play with planning or better strategy mostly they have just few tasks after achieving them they are benched of crap players which are not able to give their best in big matches today their fields were completely crap and bowling were also out of order with Babar Azam's few decisions I was feeling they are playing to give this trophy to Sri Lanka as they were not in game for win.

They dropped many good players at home just for few players those were in with their personal links not with their ability of game which is surely talk able but no one want to talk about this because there is no merit all things are working on relationship or personal likes and dislikes which is the biggest issue in this board many were feeling with the arrival of Ramiz Raja things could be changed but nothing positive happening all in dark age.

You are right .It is very difficult to accept that an experienced team like Pakistan will lose against Sri Lanka in the final match. Especially the Pakistan squad is more experienced than Sri Lanka. So our expectations from them were more. But the Pakistani batsmen's performance was very poor in the last 2 matches against Sri Lanka. Pakistan was defeated because of the poor performance of the batsmen.
