Australia T20 World Cup 2022 at the doorstep. The Netherlands cricket team qualified for the T20 World Cup to be held in Australia.
Definitely this is going to be good news for Zimbabwe they are again in World Cup which is going to play in Australia after three months after beating The USA, Jersey and Singapore. From other group Netherlands also qualify for T-20 World cup after beating PNG, Uganda and Hong Kong after winning group matches these both teams played in semifinal with Zimbabwe against PNG and Netherlands against The USA and beat their opponents for qualifying into main event.

https://www.espncricinfo.com/story/t20-world-cup-qualifier-zimbabwe-and-netherlands-claim-final-two-spots-at-2022-mens-t20-world-cup-1324898

Zimbabwe had the unfair advantage of receiving $12 million per year in ICC funds. Other teams such as PNG receives around 1% of that amount. But despite all that, Papua New Guinea gave them a good fight yesterday. I will miss them in the next world cup, because they were one of the small number of teams with native players from the Oceania region. And also, I am glad that Netherlands managed to qualify. A few young players are emerging within the Netherlands squad, such as Bas de Leede. The direction of growth for Netherlands has been in the negative direction for the last few decades. Hopefully with younger players performing well, they may once again be able to perform at the top level.

At one time we used to see that Kohli was the most favorite person in the Indian team.He still has no shortage of fans. One or two matches may be bad.I think every match after that Kohli will do better. And the visitors will get back that old Kohli. His fiery game will allow the audience to see the old Kohli again in him.

Kohli still has a lot of fans. Everyone is criticizing Kohli, but if Kohli plays well, these critics will be happy. He has not been in form for a long time. Kohli failed to return to form despite getting opportunities consistently. The audience wants to enjoy Kohli's outstanding performance. There are very few players as talented as Kohli. We don't want his career to end this badly

I deserve if the T20 World Cup was not too far away then they would have given a chance to some other player. Currently BCCI thinking about Kohli. Some experts expect someone instead of kohli, while many experts think he should be played. But naturally Kohli will have the place as he is an experienced player Where there is no one equal with him in the current Indian team.
There is plenty of players in the bench that could perform better than Virat Kohli considering his present form where he is struggling to score runs. He was batting well for a very long time and he is going through a rough patch and it will take time to recover and the best players always recovers from this slump in form.

~
I think he got caught up too much in the political stuff outside cricket. Now he has to realize that he needs to get back in form quickly. Or he will be replaced.
All the players go through these situation and the best players always find a solution to overcome this bad form. Virat Kohli has to find a way to overcome his technical weakness because he bats with a heavy bottom hand and he is not picking the length of the ball like he used to if you go through all of his dismissals after the lockdown.

One simple tweet doesn't mean that he has some sort of backing. Shashi Tharoor is also fan of Indian cricket team and when some new kid turning out to be a speedster then everybody will get excited. It also happened with Nagarkoti when he ran havoc in U19 WC but poor guy got injured.

I guess everyone has a same opinion about Pandya as far as his off field behavior goes but at the same we can't ignore the fact that now he's trying to change his public image due to very same reasons and as cricketer performing quite well too.

In case of Pandya, I agree. He is a family man now and I agree that he's trying quite hard to improve his reputation. But the same can't be said about Kohli. He continues to behave like a monkey, both on-field and off-field. BTW, it's strange that you mentioned about Nagarkoti. There was so much hype about him after the U-19 world cup. And although his bowling partner (Shivam Mavi) is now a regular in the IPL fixtures, I haven't heard anything about Nagarkoti for quite some time now. Anyway, I just hope that Umran won't end up like Nagarkoti.
I won't go into much details regarding Kohli's personal life but i feel that after diving into bollywood circle he became woke. He used to be very down to earth guy with no mask but now i do have some doubts.

His back injury ruined his career, although he's recovered now and already started travelling with the national team but this time competition is really tough and it won't be easy for him. Krishna, Mavi and Him are belongs to same batch i guess.

Kohli is having a bad time at the moment. He should return to domestic cricket for some time instead of traveling with the national team, otherwise these ongoing failures will put an end to his career. You shouldn't try to regain your form in international cricket. Young talent is waiting in the wings.

Over the past few years, Virat Kohli has proven to be a classy player. It does not mean that he is a bad player just because he is having a bad time. The reflexes aren't there anymore, at least on an English track. There is a lot of talk about Virat, but what is going on inside his mind?
Yes Kohli is really playing very bad game lately. The game he gives to the audience on the field can never be Kohli's game.Humans can make mistakes and play badly, but such poor performances always make Kohli questionable If we recall Kohli's game of yesteryear, everything can be seen. However, the latter will play much better and fulfill the expectations of the audience.

IMO the reason he's not going back to Ranji etc because there is no glory whatsoever when you already served national team for like a decade, this is tough road for any player cause (not just him) of ego as he's already earning millions of dollars every year through various ads contract (not counting IPL's earning). For all domestic appearance you need hunger and i'm assuming that Kohli doesn't think like that, unfortunate things to say but it does look like this.

A player who has been one of the most successful ever in cricket and has dominated for a long time is surely not willing to take a break now. Furthermore, he will not play for the Ranji Trophy unless he absolutely forced.

You know that Virat Kohli is a bit obstinate. So, my guess is, that he is not intending to switch back to playing Ranji trophy or domestic cricket. A lot of ex-professional cricketers have suggested he take a break, but he’s not even listening to that. It is most likely to be problematic for his career in the long run. I think he got caught up too much in the political stuff outside cricket. Now he has to realize that he needs to get back in form quickly. Or he will be replaced.

In my opinion after the T20 world cup he might get dropped, if he continues to perform in the same manner. It has been three years now and I haven't seen him doing wonders with his bat. His attitude remains the same on the field but his batting is getting worst with every match he plays. There are far better players available at the moment who can replace Kohli.

Will BCCI give Virat Kohli a spot in the World Cup squad if he continues to perform poorly? India has a lot of talented players who are doing much better than Virat Kohli recently. I think Virat Kohli will probably be kept with the squad for the group stage matches, but after that BCCI will not give Kohli another chance unless his performance improves.

The Indian Cricket Board wants Virat Kohli to play in the T20 World Cup. Although his day is not going well now. Most likely some more matches could give him a chance. However, in this case, there are more players, combination  new and old, they should be given a chance. But now it is understood that India is doing its best to keep the whole T20 World Cup in front of it to do better. However, it is not yet clear whether the player will change in the T20 squad.

India needs experienced players like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma on a platform like the World Cup. Virat Kohli is now going through the worst time of his career. He has been consistently performing poorly, and the BCCI is still keeping them in the squad. Because BCCI now wants Kohli to perform in the World Cup. But in the next two series, if Virat Kohli fails consistently and cannot perform well. Then I don't think BCCI will keep Virat Kohli in the World Cup squad.
Aren't there any other good players in the team? why is the Kholi the only option. Kholi is now in many other campaigns like WLM and Clean Air.
I think he is now more into the bollywood - than in his career. The BCCI is just concerned about Kholi not about the national image.
No, he is not into Bollywood but his wife is into it. He is just not able to play no matter what he tries on the field. If I am correct Sachin Tendulkar went through the same phase in his career too. He at that time blamed it on captaincy pressure and after leaving the captaincy his performance improved a lot. Kohli also did the same thing but he was forced to leave his captaincy because he sucked both as a captain and as a batter at that time. Till today he is struggling as a batter and I think he will be chucked out of the team after the world cup.

Kohli have got a bad attitude. This is particularly due to his performance. Later he have adopted to it. There is big politics within the Indian Cricket Board. This is the reason why some potential players can't be seen on the Indian squad. Kohli as a good player need to learn how to stop his show off. Right now he's out of form and many have started to discuss about his attitude, when he played good people just ignored. He's playing good and showing off.

Normally when a player is out of form, he takes some time off and concentrate on domestic cricket. Now I understand that Indian domestic cricket may not be of sufficient quality to attract players such as Kohli. But then, he could have played county cricket in England or participated in the Sheffield Shield competition in Australia. Cheteshwar Pujara recently represented Sussex in English county cricket. And a few other South Asian players are currently participating in that competition.
