KKR and MI both teams have meager wins, and both do not seem to be in good shape this year. In today’s match, KKR should win since their points at point table is not good as others and with today’s win team should manage themselves to put their best foot forward who knows they might have future matches being to their side and also help them get to increase their points at the point table.

How many teams are left in IPL by now?
When is the quarterfinal. Lots of teams - lots of players. And not having an access of the IPL in our region is a trouble though. I get an idea of what is going on in IPL by reading the posts in the forum.

Only 4 teams are having a real chance of progressing to the next phase - the two new teams (Lucknow & Gujarat), as well as Rajasthan and Bangalore. The remaining teams have 10 points or less, and require some miracle in order to progress to the next stage. And apart from RCB, each of these teams have only three matches each left. The bottom ranking teams (CSK, KKR and MI) have zero chance of progressing to the next phase as they don't have enough points. And that is why today's match (Mumbai Indians vs Kolkata Knight Riders) doesn't have any relevance.
It's better to not make a decision too early since every possibility is there. Keep in mind the RCB as well. The Royal Challengers Bangalore have the best chance to reach the top four if they improve their run rate. They are looking at both departments as having strong units, so it's great to see RCB back. Based on their current statistics, Delhi Capitals and Rajasthan Royals have a better chance of taking the third and fourth spots, respectively.

My prediction is that Dehli Capital will take the third slot and Rajistan Royal will end up at the fourth. A very long tournament is finally coming to the end. Hope Indians have enjoyed the tournament.

Delhi Capitals have got dependence over Warner, and today the game is completely different. CSK had a good score and the bowling has got improved. Mukesh bowled well, and the increased pressure on Delhi Capitals to reach a high target too a reason for the wicket fall. Very importantly there is no catches being dropped by the CSK team players. Moving forward i am expecting this to be the theme as the pitch might be slowing down and it is difficult to bat in the second innings. I hope they will make a pitch that is much better in the quarter final as both teams get equal opportunity irrespective of the pitch condition.
RCB made 192 while CSk made 208 after they bat first. I don't think pitch has something to do with this, no matter what conditions are such total is very hard to chase. Pitch is very much same for both teams and I don't think there is much wear and tear in the pitch in 20 overs.

Today's second match is going to be interesting as well (the one between Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Capitals). I don't think that now it is possible for Chennai Super Kings to qualify for the next stage, but Delhi still has a chance. Chennai has given a target of 209 runs. The way they started the innings, they should have collected 15-20 more runs. They lost 2 wickets by collecting 9 runs in the last overs. 209 runs are enough to win if the bowlers perform well. Chennai will not win if the bowlers do not play well. Because Delhi batsmen are very experienced. If Delhi's opening pair can collect 50 runs, then I would say Delhi will win this match.
