Surely this is big concern here in Third World countries we have to manage things for better lives and in developed countries they are having enough time, and they can spend some good time with these activities so just because of this they have much better facilities. I personally never watch any match complete and mostly have just updates and scores for personal information because I was addicted in my childhood, but now life is completely change and have to fight for better things for family but still love my this addiction about cricket and few other sports.

Now IPL is also very lengthy event and it needs some good intention which is not possible so mostly having few websites and this forum for all my desire.

If T20 leagues follow patten like English Premier League that matches should be on weekends then there will he more viewership of these leagues. IPL this time will have 10 teams and will last for 2 months. Sparing 2 to 3 hours everyday for 2 months will be difficult specially for a person with 9 to 5 job. I too will follow ipl on websites mostly.

^^^ Congrats to Babar Azam, Shaheen Shah and Rizwan. It would have been even better if they were able to win the T20 World Cup of 2021.

Winning the world cup could have been good thing but the main highlight of T20 world cup was Pakistan beating the Indian team with full 10 wickets. That's was a memorable win which you should remember every time you think of T20 world cup.

No bro I am not going to watch the whole match every day because quite frankly I have a life.  I cannot just sit in front of the television and waste my valuable time like that. I might watch the finals and probably the semifinals the whole 40 overs but I am not going to watch all the matches.

I think looking at the score is enough information. people might say that I am not a fan of IPL, but in my opinion, my time is a lot more valuable.

I don't watch IPL because it is not broadcast in Pakistan on any sports channel but in days of PSL, I usually watch all the matches. We have a festival in PSL days as the TV is always on while the match is broadcasting and everyone in home keeps watching the matches and also do other work if necessary in front of TV.

Don't expect any leniency from the BCCI. There are 38 first class teams in India and that means that we have some 500-600 regular first class players. Out of this pool, only around 20% get an opportunity to participate in the IPL. For the remaining players, there are hardly any avenues to showcase their talent. If they were allowed to participate in some of the foreign leagues, then it would have been mutually beneficial for both the sides. I don't think that the IPL will suffer a big setback, if players such as Siddhesh Lad, Sai Sudharsan or Dhruv Patel participate in a few foreign leagues.

I guess the policy is changed, as Hanuma Vihari Among Seven Indian Cricketers Sign Up For Dhaka Premier League (source). Not all first class players made it to national squad rather end up there career playing domestic cricket. If bcci allow atleast it's domestic players to go and participate in other leagues then it will be help them financially also and lessen load on bcci also.

I think it would have been better if BCCI did something like this,
All the players who are currently under IPL contract cannot play anywhere else except for the IPL and anyone else who is not currently under any kind of contract can play anywhere else and also outside India.
That would have been the best decision for both the players and BCCI because then we wouldn't have had this conversation we are having right now.

in total there’re 4 venues where all matches will be taking place, and it’s been said that the pitches should last, but I’m having doubts that they’ll last till the very end of the tournament. Lastly I’m only planning to watch few overs in each game, as it’s not possible to see the entire game on a daily basis, so what about others are you’ll planning to watch each and every game?.

Australian pitches are made for Aussie players. Asian teams specially India who perform too good at home usually face lots of problems in Australia. Its 7 months to go, don't know what team conditions will be at that time. Right now it looks like Australia is the sole hot favorite for men T20 WC just like there women are for current ODI.
Their women's team is not playing at home, but they are hot favorite after having the best performance with ball and bat, we can say a complete package right now in women cricket.

Most chances Asian teams will struggle in Australia, but we have England and New Zealand both are also very good in this short format and both teams are capable of having good results in these conditions in this short format because both squads are very good and competitive but still now we have seven months, so we have to wait for any injury or any other problem which can create problems for any team but still these teams are favorite for this mega event because these all can perform very professionally.

More 3 days to go start IPL 2022. All the matches will be the held in Mumbai and Pune. 10 good teams and all the giant of world cricketers will be there. Can't wait for the biggest festival of the year, best of the wishes for all the teams. I'm sitting tight for my top picks Sunrisers Hyderabad. Eager to watch them.

Every where players have an edge when they play at home ground. This is one important factor which hampers the performance - I believe luck and hard work both are the driving forces for the performance. Even when there was Pk/Auss series - - Pakistan brought soil from Australia for making pitch but that poor pitch got the name of DEAD pitch. Tough luck for those who faced out leash for creating pitch in PK

Pakistan used to play their home matches in the UAE and therefore they are very used to the pitch conditions there. The same can be said about the other South Asian teams as well. Indians may be at a slight disadvantage, because they don't play that often in UAE nowadays. And also, the BCCI has banned Indian players from taking part in the T20 and T10 leagues organized by other boards. That said, the pitches in Australia are nowadays not very bowler friendly. In the past we used to have minefields, like the one at Perth (WACA ground).
This is wrong as last IPL season (partly) was held in the UAE with all Indian top players were involved in this, and they have some good practice on these pitches with this all they can manage some good but sadly their time were not good and they completely down and out in this event.

BCCI not allowing their players for other T10 or T20 Leagues it is completely their own decision with just for greediness and having some good advantage in their own league and if this is hurting their players then is just their own mistake they have to manage things for them as they prepare for all conditions if they feel not good about this system that their players will not play in any other franchise league. Now we have next world cup in Australia after seven months, hopefully things could be completely different for these Asian teams.

India played IPL just before the start of T20 WC at UAE, how can you say they are at disadvantage? IPL is good for entertainment but you can't say it has or will make Indian cricket team strong in t20 format. I am sure bcci wants it players now to play other leagues but there arrogance is the main hindrance.

It's amazing start and then have some good cricket throughout group stage and suddenly down and out against Australia is very painful but still good because now they have some confidence after beating India in special way but next time they need to work on Australia as well.

Because, they are also having something pressure on them with their style and super performance in last few years after very long time now they are playing against each other which is good but still it needs more good performance hopefully we will have some good and entertaining matches in Australia when these all teams will fight again for next T20 world cup. In Australia, we can expect some good dominance from SENA countries because they are favorable for them.

^^^ Congrats to Babar Azam, Shaheen Shah and Rizwan. It would have been even better if they were able to win the T20 World Cup of 2021. They showed a lot of promise during the group stages, but lost the semi-finals in an unfortunate manner. They have another chance in a few months from now, when the Australian edition of the world cup starts by October 2022. But the pitch conditions are going to be much different when compared to what they had last time (in the UAE and Oman), and that is going to be a challenge for the sub-continent teams.
Heartiest congratulation to all three. Hard work pays off - they all the legends who have brought so much joy to the nation in particular during  the depressed time. I like the style of Muhammad Rizwan. He has an amazing personality and his passion give me a feeler I always compare him with Rashid Latif - I still like  and admire Rashid Latif a lot.

I think even though that pitch condition is going to be different and the other subcontinent team may face big challenges, Pakistan is going to find it better than the other subcontinent teams. Because they have a good bowling lineup and the batting is also doing quite good with Babar Azam being one of the best in the business.

If there is any team from the subcontinent who will do better in overseas conditions at the moment I think it is Pakistan right now. And we have seen previously that India is the one from the subcontinent to have good performance in overseas countries but I think right now Pakistan is better than India.
