Stop discussing the previous match. The second match of Australia vs Bangladesh has started. Australia won the toss and elected to bat. But they lost the first wicket after collecting 13 runs. Alex Carey was dismissed for 11 off 11 balls. At the end of 4 overs, Australia collected 20 runs. Mehdi Hasan has taken 1 wicket with 3 runs in 2 overs.

Another pathetic performance from the Australians. With 5 overs to go, they are at 90/3. Australian batsmen (obviously with the exception of the ever reliable Mitchell Marsh) has once again failed against the Bangladeshi spinners (Mahedi Hasan and Shakib Al Hasan). Mahedi Hasan has so far conceded 3 runs from his 12 balls and picked up the wicket of Alex Carey. I am really perplexed. What makes him so much unplayable? If not for the partnership between Moises Henriques and Mitchell Marsh, Australia would have been in a pathetic situation now.

Marsh is out. Australia lost 4 wickets for 99 runs. This wicket was very important for Australia. Bangladesh's spin bowlers as well as pace bowlers are performing exceptionally well. Australian players are having a lot of trouble batting on this pitch. It looks like Australia will provide a target of 122 runs.

Australia scored 90 runs in 15 overs. Henriques has just been out. Shakib has collected this necessary wicket for Bangladesh. Marsh is still at the crease. If he is not out, Australia will be able to collect more than 130 easily. Although the bowlers of Bangladesh are bowling well.

Of course Australia and west indies far better than Bangladeshi cricket team but sometimes low perform team can beat any strong team . You already seen the Australia and west indies match where Australia beaten huge difference margin 4-1 . Can we easily guess that west indies ( weak ) beat Australia ( Strong) . So Bangladesh can beat Australia , that not a hard performance.

The difference was that Bangladesh was playing at home, and their main players (Shakib al Hasan, Mahmudullah.etc) were available for the match. Australians struggled to adjust with the conditions and they were missing some of their main players. And Australia did well when they were batting. The issue was that none of their batsmen, apart from Mitchell Marsh could handle the Bangladeshi spinners. For today's match, Bangladesh morale will be high and they will have an advantage. Australia is already down by 0-1.
Bangladesh also missing the top favourite plyers Tamim Iqbal and musfiqur Rahim. The hard rules conditions of Australia given through over Bangladesh team . However now Australia collects 67/2 ( 12 over ) till now..... Continuing ...

Some key players of Bangladesh were also absent in this match. Tamim Iqbal and Mushfiqur Rahim were not in the team. If they were in the team, maybe the batsmen of Bangladesh would have played a little better. But the weather may have been new for the Australian players. They could not adapt properly to such weather. Hopefully they will not take any wrong step in today's match.

Australia doesn't have experienced batsmen who can adjust quickly to surfaces that are more supportive to spin bowling. The absence of David Warner is really hurting them. But one positive here is that Mitchell Marsh is performing quite consistently for some time now (both with the bat and ball). Their spinners have also been in good form (Zampa, Turner and Agar). But they need to strengthen their batting. It won't be a bad idea to ask Marsh to open the batting (currently he is batting at no.3).

132 runs was not a very difficult target. Australia would have won if they had cooperated with the top-order batsmen. But Australia lost the first 3 valuable wickets to collect only 11 runs. On such a spin-dependent pitch, the responsibility of the top-order batsmen is much more. Winning matches becomes difficult if they do not fulfill their responsibilities properly.
The situation could be different if any batsmen fought till the end. Marsh tries to stand up, but not enough to compete the total. Although I'm not sure if spin fear was the cause, Australia captain argues that his teams should be "brave" when it comes to facing Bangladesh's spin threat. Will the Tigers win this series or will the Aussies fight back hardly?

Apart from Mitchell Marsh, no other Australian batsman has batted well. If a player could have formed a good partnership with Mitchell Marsh, perhaps the result would have been in Australia's favor. But I don't think they were afraid of spinners, Mustafiz and Shoriful both took 4 wickets. Moreover, the day was bad for Australia.

Given their performance against Bangladesh yesterday, I won't be surprised if Australia ends up losing the series. They lost the T20 series against West Indies by a big margin, and the same may happen this time as well. And the worst thing is that all this is happening just a couple of months before the T20 World Cup is about to start. Let's hope that by the time of the world cup, Australia will be able to perform better and players like Cummins, Warner and Smith will be available for selection.

There is no comparison between the Bangladesh team and the West Indies team. The West Indies are a very good team in the T20 format and their squad has a lot of T20 specialist players who perform in one or the other franchise league throughout the year. But this was Bangladesh's first win in the T20 format against Australia. And most of the players on the team were young and inexperienced. Even though Australia lost the first match, they must win the series.

Australia has well experienced spinner than Bangladesh team , Adam zampa far far better spinner in the Australian Team but first t20 match already a spinners pitch but only top order batsman failure lost the match for Australia.

Hey mate, few days ago Australia already lost their series match against west indies. Australia undoubtedly the best but now others team also played well and they defeated the best team like Bangladesh already defeated Australia.

Agreed. West Indies defeated them in the T20 series by a very big margin (4-1). A few of the big names were missing (such as David Warner), so I could understand their poor performance against the West Indies. But losing to Bangladesh, and that too getting bowled out for 108 runs is very difficult to comprehend. CA needs to take some strong steps here, and the first measure should be to remove Matthew Wade as the captain (he made 13 runs from 23 balls yesterday, in a T20 match).
23 balls for 13 runs not a issues but all batsman Australia team played worse and they can't support whole team with only batting department. Bangladeshi howler nasum only a man who picked 4 wickets only 19 runs 4 over spelling. Australia lost first wicket without any runs means first ball. I think Australia already lost their tempet in their match.

True, we shouldn't address it as home advantage. Australia team management wasn't unaware about the condition of the pitch. But they know that Bangladeshi batsman can hardly chase the excessive fast bowlers. And they have Starc & Hazlewood in the squad. Starc has given much run today but he was able to create pressure on Bangladeshi batsman. Australian batsman should have played with more responsibilities. The second T20 will be interesting now. Australia will definitely try to get the victory in that match.

It is a 5-match series, and therefore there is no immediate danger for Australia. But their batting was just pathetic. If they can't chase a target of 132 against a team like Bangladesh, then I would say that they can no longer be considered as one of the stronger teams in world cricket. Recently they lost the T20I series against West Indies by a margin of 4-1. I don't know what happened to this team in T20 format. After all, they have the second most popular franchise T20 league in the world (BBL).
Australia undoubtedly the best team in the cricket world where Bangladesh the last line team . But today Bangladesh beat Australia with 23 runs which already A headnews in the news channel. Australia would be backed soon , because they have strong batsman and bowlers , michel strack, Hazelwood and zampa already bowled better but only batsman played worse. They would have enough opportunities to feedback second match.
