The problem here is that they think the Bangladesh team is a very weak opponent, and have not done their homework properly on Bangladeshi players. As a result, the Australian bowlers are not able to succeed even against inexperienced players.
If the Australian players or the selectors thought that touring Bangladesh was easy then they messed up their plan which clearly shows their lack of experience because Bangladesh is always strong when they are playing at home.

Yeah, Bangladesh is always a strong team on their home ground. The Bangladesh team has proved this many times. At the Mirpur Stadium, Bangladesh always performed to the surprise of everyone. Australia should have understood this thing. Their squad needed to be strengthened. With 3 more matches left, let's see how the Australian team performs.

Did anyone made a bet in favor of Bangladesh for the first two matches? No one really expected them to go 2-0 up against Australia. The results are just shocking. Two consecutive defeats for a big three team against one of the minnows among the test nations. But the hints were already there. Australia's series defeat (4-1) against West Indies showed that the players are not in good form. Their batting is horrible, and their bowling is getting worse with each passing day. They badly needs the experienced players such as Cummins and Smith.

Before the series started we thought we would watch a one-sided series. We are watching a one-sided series, but not one-sided from the Australian side. We are seeing a new form of Bangladesh. However, it is not that Bangladesh is playing very well. I think the Australian squad is weaker. Apart from Marsh and Henriques, no other Australian player has been able to score properly. We have never seen such a weak batting lineup in Australia.
Who is responsible for this poor batting performance of Australian team? Obviously their team management. Because they haven't made a perfect squad by taking Bangladesh team as lightly. Although we shouldn't deny that the pitch condition isn't batting friendly. Both teams struggling to make runs and trying their best to win the match. This kind of game is more enjoyable than a one sided match.

You're right, the pitch is not batting-friendly. The batsmen of both teams are having a hard time collecting runs. However, the Australian management is very experienced. They know very well what kind of team needs to be formed in which condition. The problem here is that they think the Bangladesh team is a very weak opponent, and have not done their homework properly on Bangladeshi players. As a result, the Australian bowlers are not able to succeed even against inexperienced players.
Everything changes in the evolution of time, Bangladesh is becoming better and better day by day especially when they are playing at home. It's tough for both sides getting runs but good bowling surface. Bangladesh team combination looks very promising, now leading the series by 2-0 against Australia. I wish Australia learnt their lesson, and do their homework.

Will you call Pakistan lucky to have won the T20 series against West Indies ? It was disappointment to see that three our of four T20 matches wouldn't be possible because of the rain.

If you ask me, i cannot say that Pakistan was the better team than West Indies. We cannot judge the performance by only one match.  In the last two matches West Indies started well by quickly making 15 and 20 runs but then the rain interrupted the match.
Now i hope that we have full test series between the two countries without any interruption of rain.

If the Australian management was experienced they would not mess up like this in the first match and the way in which they messed up against an inexperienced Indian team says a lot about the experience of the selectors and team management. So i am not going in that route Tongue.

What's going on with Team Australia? They lost the first match, I thought the players were having trouble adjusting to the new conditions so they lost, maybe Australia will win the second match. But they lost the second T20 match as usual. Bangladesh is beating the experienced Australia team with a young dependent team. Really surprising. We never expect such a poor performance from Australia. Today's match was very interesting though. Bangladesh lost 5 wickets for 67 runs. With the help of young players Afif and Nurul, Bangladesh has been able to win. Afif made 37 off 31 balls.

Guys... Australia is at top now after their bowlers picked up some quick wickets. Bangladesh still need 55 runs and they have only 5 wickets in hand. The wicket of Shakib al Hasan was very crucial. It triggered a middle order collapse. Now the Bangladeshi batsmen are also struggling to face the Australian spinners (Zampa and Agar). Afif Hossain and the keeper Nurul Hasan at the crease now and they need to stay there till the end of the chase. If Australia can pick just one more wicket in the next two overs, then they will have a clear upper hand in this match.

Just when it looked as if Bangladesh was cruising towards a victory, they lost the most important wicket of Shakib al Hasan. The trick is not to lose anymore wickets now, as the required run rate is still less than 6 per over. However if the Bangladeshi batsmen do something funny, then Australia will come back in to the game. The advantage is still with Bangladesh, but they need to bat cautiously. This is a golden opportunity for them to get a rare series victory against one of the big-3 teams (and that too two months before the T20 world cup).

122 runs is a very easy goal. But this is the Bangladesh team. They also have a past record of losing matches on easy targets. They lost two opener batsmen in just 3.1 overs. Naim played the first match well, as usual in this match too the Bangladesh team expected a better performance from him.

Shakib Al Hasan was dismissed for 26 off 18 balls. If he could collect runs, it would have paved the way for the victory of the Bangladesh team. After 8.3 over Banglades team's run is 58/3. So far the run rate is good enough. But they will not be able to win this match if they lose wickets too fast. I hope Bangladesh will able to win.

It looks like Australia will provide a target of 122 runs.

At the end of 20, The Austrelian team are able to collect 121 runs. What a prediction mate! Your prediction is absoulutly correct. Australia has given Bangladesh a target of 122 runs. Australia will also concede defeat in this match. 122 runs is not a good collection.

Really pathetic performance from the Australians once again. When Mitchell Marsh got out, they were at 99/3 with 4 overs to go. I expected them to make at least 135-140, with so many wickets in hand. But that was it. Marsh got out and their batting just collapsed. 99/3 to 106/7 in almost no time. 130+ would have been a decent total (but by no means good enough to guarantee a win). 121 is just going to be cakewalk for Bangladesh. Congratulations to Mustafizur Rahman, who proved that pacers can also take wickets at the Mirpur stadium.

A big day in the history of T20 cricket and a very big day for the Bangladesh cricket. Now it is lockdown in Bangladesh, if not the government would've announced government holiday. Similar incident happened in the past when India lost against Bangladesh. This match result is completely unexpected, and Australia seems to have over confidence.

At least this time Henriques scored a few runs. Else Australia would have struggled to make a three digit total. BTW, Bangladesh is also struggling in the chase. They are 21/2 after 3.2 overs. Shakib Al Hasan is still there and he's looking good. But it will be a tough task for the Bangladesh batsmen to handle Josh Hazlewood. Mitchell Starc has picked up one wicket, but he is looking very wayward. The advantage is for Bangladesh, but for Australia still there is a small chance to come back in to the game, if their bowlers do well.

Everyone said the pitch was spin dependent, and that's why Australian players are having trouble playing on such condition. But in the first match, Bangladesh pace bowlers Mustafiz and Shariful took 4 wickets. So far in today's match, Australia has lost 7 wickets, of which, Mustafiz has taken 3 wickets and Shariful has taken 2 wickets. It doesn't matter if the pitch is spin dependent or pace dependent, the Australian players are not in good form now. They are not playing well. We also saw their poor performance against the West Indies.

Marsh is out. Australia lost 4 wickets for 99 runs. This wicket was very important for Australia. Bangladesh's spin bowlers as well as pace bowlers are performing exceptionally well. Australian players are having a lot of trouble batting on this pitch. It looks like Australia will provide a target of 122 runs.

When Marsh was there, I was thinking that the Australians would be able to get to a decent total. That is not going to happen now, because the Australian middle and lower order is in pathetic state. Ashton Turner and Matthew Wade at the crease now, and both have been struggling recently with the bat. Australia is having a very long tail, and that is definitely not going to help them. All credit goes to the Bangladesh bowlers (especially the spinners). It looks very likely that Bangladesh will go up by 2-0 today.

Stop discussing the previous match. The second match of Australia vs Bangladesh has started. Australia won the toss and elected to bat. But they lost the first wicket after collecting 13 runs. Alex Carey was dismissed for 11 off 11 balls. At the end of 4 overs, Australia collected 20 runs. Mehdi Hasan has taken 1 wicket with 3 runs in 2 overs.

Another pathetic performance from the Australians. With 5 overs to go, they are at 90/3. Australian batsmen (obviously with the exception of the ever reliable Mitchell Marsh) has once again failed against the Bangladeshi spinners (Mahedi Hasan and Shakib Al Hasan). Mahedi Hasan has so far conceded 3 runs from his 12 balls and picked up the wicket of Alex Carey. I am really perplexed. What makes him so much unplayable? If not for the partnership between Moises Henriques and Mitchell Marsh, Australia would have been in a pathetic situation now.

Cricket a complete uncertainty game which can't determine anything about results previous. But today it would be tuff to win for Australia . Now Australia already lost four wickets collecting 100 runs over 16...
