You're right, the pitch is not batting-friendly. The batsmen of both teams are having a hard time collecting runs. However, the Australian management is very experienced. They know very well what kind of team needs to be formed in which condition.
If the Australian management was experienced they would not mess up like this in the first match and the way in which they messed up against an inexperienced Indian team says a lot about the experience of the selectors and team management. So i am not going in that route

The problem here is that they think the Bangladesh team is a very weak opponent, and have not done their homework properly on Bangladeshi players. As a result, the Australian bowlers are not able to succeed even against inexperienced players.
If the Australian players or the selectors thought that touring Bangladesh was easy then they messed up their plan which clearly shows their lack of experience because Bangladesh is always strong when they are playing at home.
