Australia undoubtedly the best team in the cricket world where Bangladesh the last line team . But today Bangladesh beat Australia with 23 runs which already A headnews in the news channel. Australia would be backed soon , because they have strong batsman and bowlers , michel strack, Hazelwood and zampa already bowled better but only batsman played worse. They would have enough opportunities to feedback second match.

Australia was "undoubtedly the best team" a decade or so ago. That is not the case now. Remember how they performed when Smith and Warner got banned for a year? They don't have the depth in player pool, when compared to either India or England. Gone are the days when Glenn McGrath, Brett Lee and Shane Warne would gang up to destroy opposing teams. They don't have a good allrounder of the caliber of Shane Watson. And finally, although I agree that Steve Smith is perhaps the best test batsmen nowadays, his captaining skills are not as good as that of Michael Clarke.

If you compare Bangladesh with Australia then Australia is still far better. This was a one-off match and Bangladesh played far better than the Australian team. Wait for the next match and Australia will try to come back. I am sure Bangladesh knows it and they would be prepared for it.

True, we shouldn't address it as home advantage. Australia team management wasn't unaware about the condition of the pitch. But they know that Bangladeshi batsman can hardly chase the excessive fast bowlers. And they have Starc & Hazlewood in the squad. Starc has given much run today but he was able to create pressure on Bangladeshi batsman. Australian batsman should have played with more responsibilities. The second T20 will be interesting now. Australia will definitely try to get the victory in that match.

It is a 5-match series, and therefore there is no immediate danger for Australia. But their batting was just pathetic. If they can't chase a target of 132 against a team like Bangladesh, then I would say that they can no longer be considered as one of the stronger teams in world cricket. Recently they lost the T20I series against West Indies by a margin of 4-1. I don't know what happened to this team in T20 format. After all, they have the second most popular franchise T20 league in the world (BBL).

Bangladesh just a team which can do anything in cricket. Who knows that Bangladesh can beat the strongest team Australia within package of 132 target. It's a easy collection for Australian Team but how way the Bangladesh team won the match Huh? I can't believe it , what's the miracles!!!

Bangladesh is always a good team at home. And the pitch on the Mirpur field is spin helpful most of the time. Everyone knows this. Shouldn't the Australian management have sorted out the team considering these factors? Or did they not know that this pitch helps spinners? Australia is much better and more experienced than Bangladesh. Sorry, I can't accept that Bangladesh is taking home advantage.

In the end, it was just pathetic performance from the Australians. At this rate, the big 3 in the future will be comprised of India, England and New Zealand. Australia is losing to teams like Bangladesh and can't be considered as a part of the big 3. Look at the Australian team. They are a big zero without players such as David Warner, Aaron Finch and Steve Smith. Players like Matthew Wade have performed poorly on a consistent basis and yet manage to find a place in the playing XI. Apart from Mitchell Marsh, there is not a single consistent performer in the Australian team.

Is this team Australia? seriously! Only 11 runs collected order lost 3 wickets. I'm still having trouble believing. Bangladesh formed a spin-dependent team. So far they seem to have succeeded. Let's see what will happen next.

LoL.. Bangladesh putting home advantage to good use. Their strategy of using the spinners early on seems to have rattled the Australians. You don't see very often in T20 cricket that the initial 5 overs were exclusively bowled by the spinners (Mahedi Hasan, Nasum Ahmed and Shakib Al Hasan). It was a high-risk move taken by the Bangladesh captain (Mahmudullah), and they got rewarded for it. The run chase was supposed to be a cakewalk for the Australians. But now the match looks evenly poised.

You're right. It's always hard to score runs on BD pitches not a new thing. You should blame yourself if you are not concerned about your opponent's pitch condition. Bangladesh wins their first t20 match against Australia. Bangladesh's disciplined bowling restricts Australia to just 108 runs, well played Bangladesh.

Bangladesh team has got the result of keeping extra inexperienced players in the squad. No player's strike rate was sufficient. However, the Bangladesh team has never performed very well in the T20 format. Soumya made 2 runs from 9 balls. Shamim Hossain and Nurul Hasan are two young players, the coach relied on them but they both failed today. I thought Bangladesh would collect more than 150 runs. But, end of 20 overs, they collect only 131.

First 3 over, and 3 wickets gone. Aus: 11/3, that definitely crazy! What a fantastic start for Bangladesh, spinners are doing their part. Bangladesh must tie them up, taking regular wickets, putting the Australians under pressure. This is T20, so anything can happen at any time. Still long way to go..

Watching a match that is very boring. I don't see any boundary or over-boundary. Such a low boundary cannot be expected in a T20 match. Apart from Shakib and Naim, other players could not score properly At the end of 16 overs, Bangladesh scored 96 runs. They scored 96 runs from 96 balls. Run rate is 6.

What you were expecting actually? It was meant to be a lop-sided match and we got exactly that. But it was surprising to see Mitchell Starc conceding so many runs, after his stellar form in West Indies during the ODI series (he had picked 11 wickets in just three matches). But there was no breathing space for Bangladesh, as Josh Hazlewood destroyed the top and middle order. The spinners also bowled well, especially Adam Zampa (picked up the crucial wicket of Mohammad Naim. And as expected, Shakib Al Hasan top scored for the Bangladeshis.

Australia is not in great form at this moment, but the same can be said about Bangladesh as well. The advantage for Australia is that they are a well balanced side, while Bangladesh is overdependent on a few players. But I am not discounting the possibility of any upset. First of all, the format is T20, and on top of that Bangladesh has the home advantage. It is a five-match series and therefore it may be difficult for them to attain a series win. But I am sure that they can upset the Australians in at least 1-2 matches.

Australia won the toss and elected to bowl. Bangladesh lost 2 wickets and scored 53 runs. Many players of Bangladesh team seem new. Soumya Sarkar and Mohammad Naim went down in the opening. Although Soumya is a somewhat experienced player, Naim is a new player. Naim was dismissed for 30 off 29 balls. Now Mahmudullah and Sakib are at the crease.

I think the Australian team is well-balanced now than Bangladesh as you mentioned above, Don't see enough good players in the Bangladesh team.

The first T20 match between Bangladesh and Australia will be held today. Experienced Tamim Iqbal and Mushfiqur Rahim are not in the squad. This series seems one-sided to me. But in their own field, Bangladesh can become terrible at any time. We have seen many such examples in the past. Australian TV channels also think the series is one-sided. So no TV in Australia will broadcast this series.

The series will be really one-sided. I do not see the possibility of the Bangladesh team winning. The Bangladesh team has not yet found an opener batsman. I heard Sakib Al Hasan will do the opening. He did not open in any format. He is inexperienced in this position. Moreover, the team is dominated by young players. There is no point in experimenting with young players against a strong team like Australia.
Australia are good and surely they are the favorites to win the match and the series but dont understimate bangladesh like that. No this series wont be a one sided affairs and i believe bangladesh will atleast win one match . M.rahim sakib these two are really worlds class players and i am hoping for a good performance from them in the series.

Australian TV channels say the series is unprofitable for them so they are not interested in brodcasting the series. The Australian people is not interested in this series. They think Australia will dominate the series. If Bangladesh loses all the matches of this series, then in future also the Australian channel will not broadcast any series between Bangladesh and Australia. The Australian board may also lose interest in hosting the series against Bangladesh.
