Yes, mate Karim Janat giving amazing performances there he took 4 wickets in 3 over from 7 runs so at the moment Afghanistan is most favorite winning side now.
I did not expect a turnaround like this, i am hearing about this player for the first time and i thought West Indies will win the match easily with the way Afghanistan was struggling after having a good start and with a target of 148 i thought West Indies will chase that easily as they did that in the past and all of a sudden one bowler changed everything and made a mess of my bet  Undecided. Good to see Afghanistan win with all the odds against them and i wonder how many lost their bet today.

What you think about West indies status now because they are in 26/1 in 6 overs and they need 119 runs from 85 balls, still 9 wickets in hand so there is any chance Afghanistan can win this match?
I am surprised to see the score board and who is this Karim Janat who destroyed the West Indies batting line up and he took 4 wickets in 3 overs and just gave 7 runs and it is a masterful performance and from this situation Afghanistan can win the match as West Indies still need 89 runs from 46 balls and Rashid Khan has 3 overs left and it is a tough target to chase now.

Maybe today is a different day as Afghanistan started well in today's T20 match. They have scored 40 without losing any wicket. Both Hazratullah Zazai and  Rahmanullah Gurbaz are playing well at 10 runs per over. I think today is the Afghanistan's day however it is still early times in the match.
Afghanistan already lost 6 wickets but they are scoring at six runs per over and if the fall of wicket continues like this then it will be another defeat for them and the batting line up is disappointing once again, even Mohammad Shahzad is not in form as i saw him play in Dubai T10 and he was not in good flow and lost his wicket early and until they find a batsman in form they will always struggle. If they are able to put 140 runs on the board from this situation i will be surprised.

I think you would be surprised by now as not only they put 147 runs on the board but also they are now close to the winning. WI now need 79 runs and only 4 wickets are left for them. We will for sure witness an upset today.

Required run rate is close to 10 runs per over and West Indies have lost two wickets (the last one to a very bad umpiring decision). The Afghan spinners are really strangling West Indies and they are struggling at 40/2 after 8.3 overs. But it is too early to write them off. They have players such as Evin Lewis and Kieron Pollard, who can change the course of the match in just one over.

But at the same time, we should not forget the fact that the opposition team was quite strong. Kieron Pollard, Jason Holder, Evin Lewis, Sheldon Cottrell.etc are some of the best T20 players in the world. So Afghanistan can't expect it to get very easy out there. Players like Pollard can destroy the opposition in a couple of overs. The Afghans should not give him the opportunity to stretch his arms.

Afghanistan vs West Indies was always going to be one sided contest, because West Indies have the best T20 stars in their team. Though I have to admit Afghanistan didn’t play that bad, first they managed to restrict WI under 170, and then scored 134 runs which should boost their confidence going in the second T20 match. I doubt we will witness an upset in this series, but if Afghanistan win any of the remaining matches then it’ll leave major doubts in WI team selection ahead of next years T20 World Cup.

They do have a fair share of experienced players (at least as far as T20/ODI format is concerned). The Afghan national team is 100% composed of professionals (unlike the case they had a few years back), and many of the players do play franchise T20 cricket abroad (Rashid Khan, Mujib ur Rahman, Zahir Khan, Hazratullah Zazai, Najibullah Zadran.etc).

Rashid Khan may be just 21 years old, but he already has 71 ODIs to his name. Mohammad Nabi has played in a total of 124 ODIs and the respective figures for Asghar Afghan and Gulbadin Naib stands at 111 and 65 respectively. So they have a lot of experience in the squad. And that is why it is even more surprising to see them losing their cool under tough situations.
You were talking about individual's experience but that's not what I meant.

Winning is a habit. If you bring worlds best players in a team and if the team does not have the mindset that they can win from any situation then ultimately they will lose.

It's the same here for Afghanistan. They need to have this habit and the physiological strength that they can beat any team in T20. As a unit of course.

Here it comes the experience. An experience team will not lose many from this situation. And it really takes a long time to gather experience. May be years from now we will see team like Afghanistan will be able to win matches from this kind of close calls.

There is no doubt that the Afghanistan players are very talented. But they are losing a lot of the matches that they should be winning. They don't have the capability to win close matches. Even in many matches where they had the advantage, they ended up on the losing side. Either they allowed the pressure on the opposition to wean away, or they underwent sudden collapse.
There is no doubt Afghanistan has a ton of bowling talents, even today i saw a young bowler from Afghanistan playing in today's T10 league and his name is Zahir Khan and he took 3 wickets. They need to find good batsman who could change the match and if they find a couple of quality batsman who can play with consistency then they can challenge any team in the shorter format.

Afghanistan is one among the team that in recent years have shown good progress in their game. In several matches Afghanistan reaches close to winning and ends up losing. This in my view is mostly due to the lack of experienced players who can guide them with good suggestions. Looking upon their play on franchise crickets they play good, and this is based on the perfect guidance got from senior people from other countries. If I'm not wrong they're emerging slowly as a strong competent.

I was not expecting a one-sided contest... because Afghanistan also have their fair share of T20 stars, such as Rashid Khan, Mujib ur Rahman and Mohammad Nabi. Even Hazratullah Zazai was quite successful in T20 franchise cricket, having played for the Dhaka Dynamites (BPL). In fact he holds the record for the second highest individual score in a T20I match (162 n.o vs Ireland earlier this year). Also, many of the star West Indies T20 players are missing this series as well (Sunil Narine, Carlos Brathwaite, Dwayne Bravo, Andre Russell.etc).

Looking back the Test match they won against Bangladesh they performed well and after they never had a win and their loosing journey continue till now, i thought they will perform better in T20 but then that is also gone after watching the highlights of the match, the batsman are not performing and they are not able to chase a total like this, i wish they win the toss next time and bat freely and put a good total on the score board and then we might see a good match.

Afghanistan has performed quite well in the T20 format, and that is the reason why they were ranked no.7 until a few days back. But the lack of depth in their batting and bowling is causing them trouble. Having a few good bowlers and batsmen can't win the matches. Team effort is needed for that. They need to perform as a team rather than depending on a few individuals such as Rashid Khan and Asghar Afghan.

Afghanistan is going to be shit day by day as they are going down very badly after WhiteWashed in ODI's I was expecting some good and interesting this series but after watching first twenty/20 look like they are going to face another WhiteWash as West Indies is in full command and they are giving 100% for winning.

Anyone watching the match between Afghanistan and West Indies? Things not looking very rosy for Afghanistan. First of all, they conceded 164 runs in 20 overs, and then they lost the wickets of Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Ibrahim Zadran with just 7 runs on board. Now as usual Asghar Stanikzai is building the innings, with some help from Hazratullah Zazai. But the required run rate is climbing up.
The required run rate is climbing but Afghanistan have the batting power to win the match but they lost their 4th wicket, Mohammad Nabi, Rashid Khan and Gulbadin Naib can change the match at any time but Cottrell and Pollard is bowling well for West Indies and if they start loosing wickets then it is game over for Afghanistan.

11.43 runs needed per over and Asghar Afghan got out (doubtful catch) just now. He was the only player who was capable of guiding Afghanistan to a win, and now their chances are close to zero. Mohammad Nabi is batting along with Najibullah Zadran, but both of them are not well known for hard hitting. West Indies is going to win this match. Best of luck to Afghanistan for the next match.

Yes mate the Afghanistan has lose the match with 30 runs because Afghanistan did not get good start they are loss two wickets from 7 runs, if they get good opening partnership they can give fight until end but we know before 5 over the west indies are going win the match so this time also one match.

The main players are focused on other leagues and with the team West Indies has they could have a good series against teams like Srilanka and Pakistan and that will be interesting to watch, Afghanistan is not performing because their batsman are not in form and they are not able to find quality batsman or any other impact players that could replace Mohammad Shahzad.
I will really not trust the team like Pakistan. They really do not excite much anymore. The team might be losing against a broken team like Afghanistan and Bangaldesh.
I am sorry to see that the glory of Pakistan cricket is not there anymore.
