Has anyone came across the new bowling record from a Nepal Women's Cricket player Anjali Chand. She has taken six wickets bowling 2.1 overs without leaving any single run against the team Maldives. In men's cricket the record took place in the T20 match between India and Bangladesh last month. In that match Deepak Chahar takes six wickets leaving seven runs bowling 3.2 overs.

Initially I was surprised that they didn't included any test matches. But later I realized that they made the right decision. Recently we had some very one-sided test matches in India against South Africa and Bangladesh. I don't think that the West Indians will fare any better than these teams. So I have to say that it was good thinking from the BCCI to exclude any test matches.

Its because every team playing 6 test series. 3 at home and 3 away. India already played West Indies when they toured Windies (Aug 2019)

Home series for India: SA, BAN ( both won) and  England (Jan 2021)
Away series for India:  WI (won) NewZealand (Feb 2020) and Australia (Nov 2020)

When the series starts?
Lately busy doing some stuffs so can't get access of my laptop much. From the phone it's hard to nevigate.

By the way possibly akhjob is winning the pool?

Three T20 matches and three ODI matches in the series, with the first one scheduled for this Friday.
It was well planned, with T20 any format cricket the match can change in any direction in no time. West Indies will play good and India on the other side will stay with pre plans because same as that happened with Bangladesh should not take place. This time the team will also have senior players than young players.

^^ I don't have much interest in T-20 format unless its WC or IPL. but i am interested in watching couple of players in this series.

1. Rishab : His time is running out
2. Iyer : He's India's Number 4 (cursed spot) and i believe his story shouldn't end like Ambati Raydu.
3. Chahar : let's see if he continues to impress.
4. Sanju : Will watch game for this guy, hope he gets the chance to open the inning. he has some consistency problem with his form though.

As far as Windies are concern they are hit or miss, if they get going then even kohli's Team might look like a minnow in front of them. otherwise its 50-50 game for the both teams.

Once again you guys are overestimating India and underestimating the West Indies. T20 is a format in which England was defeated by teams such as Scotland and the Netherlands. And here we are talking about West Indies. India may win the series, but I expect a tough fight from their opponents. Kieron Pollard alone is enough to make life hell for the Indian bowlers.

Yes, in T20 a single over can turn the match result upside down. And the west indies player used to play T20 all over the globe. Though the team contains less experienced international player but still Cottrell, Pooran, Hetmyer, Evin Lewis, Pollard are genuine T20 players. So we may hope for the best action.

But West Indians are the masters of T20. They may be missing a few big names... but the same can be said about India as well. It is an unpredictable format, and I guess both the teams have a 50/50 chance of winning the series. It is going to be tough for India.
West Indies are the masters of T20 but all of their top players are not interested to play in the team and they are busy playing for different leagues around the world and it is an unpredictable format and any player can change the course of the match in an over but i do not see the present West Indies team posing any challenge this time around and if they are able to upset India in any match then we will have an interesting series.

It’s a 3 match’s series and first T20 would be played at Hyderabad . India would face a good challenge as WI is a good T20 playing side .
Anyone expecting a white wash by India as i am not expecting any challenge from West Indies as they are not having Andre Russel, Chris Gayle, Narine and co and they are playing with a relative new team with Pollard as the captain and i am sure the odds for the series will be really low, i hope team India will experiment the new players who are yet to play the match and i want Sanju Samson to play a game.

I have to disagree. If this was the test format, then I could have agreed with you. But West Indians are the masters of T20. Well Bro, No Gayle and Russell in this tour.
Without them in the team it will be hard to defeat a team like India.

All eyes would be now on India vs WI T20 starting on 6th December . It’s a 3 match’s series and first T20 would be played at Hyderabad . India would face a good challenge as WI is a good T20 playing side .
As mentioned in the above post the challenges will not be that big as West Indies will not be having any of their top players in the T20 series against India and hence it will be an easy series for India and they are playing their full strength team who will be in the world cup squad next year, so my bet is for India to win the series easily.

Yeah, my feed was buzzing with all the news and I heard the same good thing about this. even semi final was good where Seamer Abhimanyu Mithun (Karnataka) took 5 wickets in his last over including Hat trick against Haryana.

Yesterday Karnataka won the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (Indian domestic T20 competition), in a very close match against Tamil Nadu. It was down to the final ball, with TN needing 3 runs. Murugan Ashwin could score only a single and Karnataka won by one run. It was a star studded match, with both sides fielding a number of national players (KL Rahul, Mayank Agarwal, Manish Pandey and Karun Nair for Karnataka and Washington Sundar, Dinesh Karthik, Vijay Shankar and Ravichandran Ashwin for TN).

One player who caught my attention was Karnataka batsman Devdutt Padikkal (originally from Kerala). I guess we can expect him to get selection for the national side within the next 1-2 years.

Gayle is getting old and i am not sure whether he can perform consistently and i have not seen Pollard perform in a long time but Russel is a real talent for them and he can turn any match in an instant.
Chris Gayle might be getting old and he might not be performing like he used to perform and he is 40 years old but if he gets a good start he can still send the ball out of the stadium and Kieron Pollard has not played any match winning innings as of late but he is still a dangerous player in the T20 format and the rest of the members are getting old but they can challenge any team if they are playing with their full squad.

If West Indies is playing with their full team then they are capable of defeating any team and if they combine they could even win the upcoming world cup as everyone is a match winner in the team, if Gayle, Russel and Pollard gets going then no one can stop them as they are more than capable of sending the ball out of the stadium and no bowling can stop them but in this series only Pollard is playing and hence it is India's series to win.
India does have a really strong team to defeat any team and so does England and Australia and if West Indies top players who are playing in different leagues around the world can come together and get picked in the team then they can challenge any team but Gayle is getting old and i am not sure whether he can perform consistently and i have not seen Pollard perform in a long time but Russel is a real talent for them and he can turn any match in an instant.

Less than a week to go for the first T20 between India and West Indies, which will take place in Hyderabad. Spectators will be missing big names such as Andre Russell and Sunil Narine, but given the advantage WI possess in this format we may be in for some fireworks. But their recent form worries me, as they lost a T20 series against Afghanistan this month.

It been quite a while that there is any international T20 match.
Regarding the Match between India and West Indies, it look like India will dominate as they have been playing superb cricket in all the departments and forms of cricket. West Indies moral will be extremely down with the loss against Afghanistan in their recent series.

Their 2-1 loss against Afghanistan in the T20 series was unexpected. That said, I would still say that this series will be evenly contested. West Indies has some of the best T20 players in the world right now. Not all of them may be part of the squad, but I could see a few stars in their lineup, such as Kieron Pollard, Shimron Hetmyer, Jason Holder, Evin Lewis, Nicholas Pooran and Sherfane Rutherford. Please don't forget the fact that T20 is the weakest format for India, and the strongest format for the West Indies.

West Indies was not playing with their best team against Afghanistan and you cannot say that the moral will be down when their star players return for the India series and i expect they will be facing India with their full bench strength as the leagues they were playing are over and now they will be available for selection for the India series
There is no change in the team and West Indies is playing with the same team they faced Afghanistan, even in the series against India Kieron Pollard is the captain and Jason Holder is the only member in the team that i can recognize, so i am not expecting a close match against India as they will be playing with their top players and if Afghanistan could trouble West Indies, India will destroy them easily.
