Stokes and Ali are batting and if they play full 20 overs or any one stays till end then we can see England crossing 200+ runs and it will be a big chase for SA. Bairstow innings was also at a quick pace though he got out at 35 in 17 balls .
Moeen Ali changed the match altogether by smashing 39 runs in just 11 balls and unfortunately he got out looking to clear the ropes once again and Ben Stokes is still in the crease and now 200 is a real possibility and England need to put over 200 runs to put pressure back to South Africa and level the series and i am expecting England could level the series as they will be determined to win this match.

Kingsmead used to be one of the most pace-friendly surfaces, but I don't know how whether that has changed recently or not. If it still supports the pace bowlers, then any total above 160 should be enough for England. They have already crossed that score (162/5 after 17.2 overs) and it is going to be an uphill task for the South African batsmen.

South Africa was able to pick up the England wickets but they were not able to control the England batsman to score freely and the strike rate is over 8 till now and Ben Stokes still in the crease and they can put up a good total in this match and South Africa is confident about chasing anything below 170 runs and so is the reason they got the toss and elected to field as they are confident on chasing.

Today we have South Africa and England and England will look to win the match to level the series after messing up the first T20, hopefully it will be another entertaining match.
South Africa won the toss and elected to bat, England already lost a wicket and a spinners started the over with Fortuin and he already dropped a catch in his own bowling and the edges are flying to the boundary and if South Africa could pick up some quick wickets then they can control the innings if not England will play with the intention to win the match and level the series.

they can dominate the game if boundaries gets slightly bigger let's say 70- 75m
The boundaries should be minimum 75m if not even the miss hits would go over the rope, earlier if there is a top edge a batsman would loos their wicket but now a days a top edge will go over the rope for six and for the spinners even if you miss the line of the ball and turn you could score a six runs if you put enough power and we are seeing the transition with the way the batsman approaches the game especially for T20, they just like to power the ball out of the ground and we have a few classic players and ten years from now it will be hard to find Test caliber batsman if it continue like this.

The only reason i see  is that the ground is getting smaller and it is really hard to control the flow of runs with the rules to restrict fielders outside the circle to favor the batsman and as you said with all the video footage and  the technology we have it is easier to learn their skill set and variations and if the bowler did not change according to that then he will find it hard to cope up with the modern game.

I do not think spinners can be effective in T20 matches as they need an old ball to spin and a dusty picth. It can be only achieved in a test cricket or later in the later part of once day cricket.

The above mentioned tech might be beneficial for the batsman for few overs but things are always  different when you are actually playing on the field.

Have to agree with vishnu and eaLiTy here. Technology, Short boundaries, Power play are important factors and all of them favor the batsmen in modern cricket. Majority of finger spinners and  off break spinners are pretty much useless in limited over cricket but wrist spinners such as Mujib, Rashid khan,Kuldeep, Chahal, Aadil Rashid, Zampa are still very handy and they can dominate the game if boundaries gets slightly bigger let's say 70- 75m

In international cricket, the spinners are not lasting much now. Even in India, spinners such as Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal are not performing well against the good teams. This is the problem in having a lot of technological advance in cricket. Super-slow motion footage is available, which allows the batsmen to study the bowling action of various spinners and thereby identify their variations.

The problem with England was that their lower order batsmen failed to contribute, unlike what happened during the test series. During the test series, lower order and tail end batsmen such as Chris Woakes, Mark Wood and Stuart Broad contributed with bat and were able to build valuable partnerships. However, the squad for the T20 series doesn't feature most of these players.
Eoin Morgan could have played till the end rather than taking the team home he went for an expensive shot in the second last over and lost his wicket and then wickets started falling as the pressure will start to increase and Lungi Ngidi bowled a perfect last over where he took wickets and England chocked under the pressure.

It was a very close match. I thought it will go to super over but great balling and fielding by the South African team. Initially I felt that England will win the match, when Jason Roy was batting but, great balling by Lungi 3 wickets just for 30.
England was playing reckless shots in the end and they started loosing wickets, i am confused when all the players were holing out in the deep rather than going for ground shots and gaps they were all trying to clear the boundary and giving easy catches to the outfielders and in the last two overs South Africa bowled really well and the wicket of Morgan when they were near victory changed the match around, incredible performance by South Africa for winning the match even after a great performance by some of England batsman.

Morgan and Ngidi both was lat two overs heros as Morgan bring match in England favor in 19th over but Ngidi was very cool on target in last over he bring back this advantage to home team one of most interesting matches we have in last few months just because of this now peoples loving Twenty/20.

You forgot Beuran Hendricks? He was the one who got the wicket of Eoin Morgan. Although he conceded 16 runs from his first five balls, he made sure that Eoin Morgan will not be able to bat in the final over. And that was the turning point in the match. England had a very long tail, and they couldn't manage the raw pace of Lungi Ngidi. The outcome would have been different, if Morgan was there in the final over.

Originally England needed 23 runs from 2 overs, but Morgan scored 16 runs from the first 5 balls bowled by Beuran Hendricks. Within one ball remaining in the penultimate over, England needed 7 runs from 7 balls. They had 5 wickets remaining, and Moeen Ali and Eoin Morgan were at the crease. Things changed when Morgan got out the next ball. So 7 was needed from the final over, and even at this point I expected England to win. But all credit to Lungi Ngidi. He bowled a spectacular final over.

...and England lost! Amazing, amazing bowling by Lungi Ngidi in the last over. At one point, it felt like the English team will be easily able to win this one, but amazing comeback by South African bowlers in the last quarter of the game.
A couple of good overs and the ability to put pressure on the England batsman and pick the wickets made the difference, i expected England to win the match When Jason Roy was on the crease and the collapse was incredible as the odds for South Africa to win was really high and even though Dale Steyn made his presence felt by his performance i did not anticipate Lungi Ngidi to bowl a dream last over when the match is on the line.

What an exciting game of play it was and the time Morgan and Roy were betraying the chase look simple and easy too . But soon things changed and England later order batsman just did not supported well to win this match for them . SA kept their cool till the end and it was like a super over is awaited but unfortunately we did not had it .

I missed seeing this match live yesterday so I decided to watch the highlights, and I was absolutely stunned to see how South Africa’s players remained calm and managed to win under the circumstances. It’s pertinent to note that England player’s choked themselves when they lost 6 wickets for just 24 runs, and that’s where South Africa’s players realised that they could yet win this game. Also Lungi Ngidi bowling was top class, and if he can consistently give such performances then we have a new contender for winning the upcoming T20 World Cup.

England is chasing the score really well and Jason Roy is in prime form and smashing the South African bowlers all over the ground and they need 46 runs to win in 34 balls and they have 7 wickets in hand and with the batting power England has i am expecting them to win the match but if South Africa can bowl a couple of good overs and pick the wickets then the match will be tight, either way it is an interesting encounter.

Its really entertaining match both teams done very good job and keep in touch until last ball but in last over Ngidi give extra ordinary job for home team now they are able lead this series we need matches like this no one was sure who is going to win until last ball look like South Africa is gaining some confidence after badly losing test series.
