If Rohit Sharma gets going then there is nothing that can stop him and it all depends upon the start he is able to give the team as a captain and with the humiliating defeat in the first T20 if the weather allows i am expecting an onslaught from Rohit Sharma upfront.

Yeah some fine innings from senior most and experienced players like Dhawan and Rohit Sharma will be enough to fall chances of win to Indian side.

In recent conference, Rohit Sharma said that T-20 is a format to try out new players so I am now quite sure there would be hardly any changes with some other experienced players.

On the other hand Bangladesh really want to win this match, if we look at history then they do not have many happy memories when playing against India. i only remember their world cup win against Indians. if they manage to win this series then its good for them after Shakib's ban.

Unless there is some slight change with experienced faces I doubt India will easily be able to level the series.

EDIT: BTW we also have NZ vs ENG tommorow and NZ leading 2-1.  Cheesy
Since England is also coming into this series with a new team and resting their main players i am expecting New Zealand to win the match unless we find some exceptional performance from the England.

Lineup just came in and NZ lineup seems good in comparison to ENG which is filled with quite some new faces. We have major bowling change in NZ bowling lineup. Boult comes in for Southee.

Just 1 win for NZ and they have won the series.

What is the conditions of Rajkot now? Is the tomorrow's match India vs Bangladesh going to be vanished or any good news about the whether of Rajkot?
According to the weather forecast there will be heavy rain because of Cyclonic Storm but there is a possibility that the situation will improve later during the day and if the ground staff could clear the water then we can see the match, either way i am not expecting a full match tomorrow and India needs to win this to level the series and for Bangladesh it is an opportunity of a life time to win a series in India Smiley.

Saurashtra Cricket Association have taken necessary steps and precautions so that we have a full fledged match to see but who knows if it might hit in the middle of the game. Hope that we don't have an abandoned match due to rain.

The IPL auction for the next season will be held in 19 December 2019 and the actual matches will be held in late March or early April but before the IPL we have another big tournament and that is PSL Pakistan Super League. I hope this time whole PSL is played in Pakistan and UAE does not get chance to host the 2020 PSL.
Since Pakistan cricket is trying to revive its playing days, they need to conduct the entire PSL in Pakistan rather than shifting to UAE and if they make a decision like that it is interesting to see how many foreign players will be available to be selected for the league. Last time they conducted they had some matches in Pakistan if i am not wrong and can anyone confirm that the foreign players participated during that period ?.

Anyway, when is the next IPL?
Looks like the IPL craze hasn't died down for you. There are many more exciting tournaments to look forward to before IPL 2020. Some of my favorites are India vs Aus in January 2020 and Asia XI vs World XI in March 2020.

I hope so too for the development of Pakistan Cricket and for the Pakistani fans. Who wouldn't want their team to play in their own country?

I disagree. AI can help in many ways, but they can never fully replace humans in any field(Sports etc). We don't want a Terminator style Judgement Day scenario.

There will always be a situation which will need a manual review and thus Umpires should be kept as it is. AI are only programmed to one extent, they can't deal with something which they are not programmed for if situation arrives.

Anyway, when is the next IPL?

Schedules hasn't come yet but usually it happens at last week of March or starting week of the April so there's still lot of time for it to happen. We have auctions coming in December I guess. Will be interesting to watch some big new names at auctions.

I think what had impacted them the most was the refusal by foreign sides to tour Pakistan. This has resulted in huge financial losses for PCB, and as a result the quality of domestic cricket has gone down.
That is a real situation, i was not thinking of the financial loss they are incurring because none of the teams are visiting them, but i thought the television rights will be sold at healthy rates even if they are playing in Dubai, not sure how much money they will be earning but i know the BCCI is earning billions selling the broadcasting rights and that might be the reason the quality of domestic cricket in Pakistan went down .
Any update for weather at Rajkot tomorrow? What  I can see at accuweather are clear skies tomorrow and rain did happen today. I think supersobers will make a great ground to play until tomorrow and we can have a full match pretty easily isn't it?

We do not need Terminator like umpires but they can be the combination of both the machines and human  Roll Eyes

These two would be the most important use cases when compared to the rest. The number of DRS appeals would drastically decrease in this case.
Well all of those were sarcasm honestly speaking but yes finding a solution for this kind of situations will be nice. But call me an old school, I would really not like another man in the field to check other things like No balls, caught behinds etc.

This will kill the cricketing spirit and this technology already took a lot of excitements from cricket. Even with this technology they still give wrong decision. Then what is the point?

A dedicated umpire for LBW
A dedicated umpire to check caught behind

Once this single AI get approved, soon think tank will find out how AI can eliminate the need of human in the cricketing decisions.

Changes are always made on a small scale to first test and experiment them. If this AI model become successful in a tournament as big as IPL, then we will see this to be implemented everywhere.  Once this single AI get approved, soon think tank will find out how AI can eliminate the need of human in the cricketing decisions.
I am not saying that I am against technology but if thing goes too much with only technology then we really do not need field umpires. We already have 12 cameras (if I am not wrong) and the umpire in the official room then can manage it from there!

If an umpire is too unfit to decide a "no ball" for over stepping then why do cricket need them to pay this big amount of money they take from the matches and also from ICC.

Guess its just for IPL. this step is not going to improve umpiring standards at all ( for high pressure game it might look okay) and after this another dude (not AI) for LBW.
Yes it is only for IPL and I was thinking the same LOL. Here are the scopes:

A dedicated umpire for LBW
A dedicated umpire for Checking no balls in over stepping
A dedicated umpire to check now balls in full toss balls
A dedicated umpire to check wide in short pitch bouncers
A dedicated umpire to check caught behind
A dedicated umpire to check boundary

There could be many more scopes LOL
Honestly speaking these days the umpires are financially motivated.

Why is ICC wasting resources here when the umpires are already doing a good job in this area? Umpiring in the major areas has gone down the drain with time and they need to address it instead of focusing on less important stuff.
ICC is having a ton of money in their arsenal and they can experiment with the technology if they really want and even now the DRS system is not perfect and they need to improve those instead of spending time with anything else and you cannot automate everything and on field umpire is necessary to control the match and we have third and fourth umpire to take care of the rest.

AI robotic umpires would probably not be ideal. Imagine a hacker hacking it in the middle of a match. Also, it would be hilarious when the bowlers appeal an LBW decision towards an AI umpire.
I do not see that happening in a century  Cheesy.
