If he isn't so recklessly losing his wickets then he would be a better replacement for Dhoni
I don't think he will ever come close to replacing a legend like MSD since he is leagues away from him in every department, but he is an entertaining player. I only like how he bats(Don't like his keeping).

Pant no doubt is a good batsman, he may get a great future in the Indian team if he can get out of his mistakes but being a replacement of Dhoni is somewhat different.
I can't see anyone replacement for Dhoni at the moment.
Agreed. Its best to try and stop comparing Pant with Dhoni. Instead, everyone needs to focus on Pant and he is letting everyone down these days. So many chances wasted. Lets see how he performs going forward.

I guess Dhoni's replacement isn't possible. Can you remember his early days? How he did perform fearlessly against each country? Pant no doubt is a good batsman, he may get a great future in the Indian team if he can get out of his mistakes but being a replacement of Dhoni is somewhat different.

Yeah tomorrow's match is going to be spectacular with the short boundaries it going to be raining sixes and  I believe Chinnasamy Stadium is where Rohit got his 1st double century

Yeah first in Chinnaswamy followed by Eden garden and Mohali.

India is fav and should win but i am not holding breathe if T-20 series ends up with the draw.

Pant is receiving tips from everyone(Dravid today) and the expectations from him keep growing.

He's not making strong case for himself and he knows that as well, Pant need to get his shit together asap otherwise some one else going to replace him in the shorter format.

The next T-20 between India and SA will be an electrifying one in my opinion since it is the final one. Kohli and Sharma are basically duking it out for the highest T-20 run scorer currently in the world and their performances will be viewed closely.

So you want the that they should increase the tickets price so no one should come in stadium.   Cheesy
How will they collect revenue if people decide not to buy tickets because of expensive prices. I think this low price ticket system is better one as PCB will collect the revenue and also we will see fully packed crowds.
And i would suggest you to visit Pakistan too and watch/enjoy the matches in 3 dollars only.

What I was suggesting was that they would get more revenue if they admit 20,000 people by selling tickets at $10 apiece rather than selling $3 tickets to 50,000 people ($200,000 vs $150,000). The larger the crowd, the more will be the expenses required for providing the security arrangements. Also, given the security scenario, it will be better if the crowd is smaller.

I would like to visit Pakistan, but Karachi is about 5,000 km away from my place and the last time I checked the cheapest one-way tickets were priced at around $400. I visit India often, because I have relatives there and I am involved in some business ventures. But doesn't sounds viable to spend $800 for a flight to Pakistan and then get a ticket for $3.  Grin

Tickets are now on sale for the PAK SRI series. If you want to come to Pakistan and watch the matches live, please see the details in this link.

Very surprising. Most of the tickets are priced around $3. Ideally PCB should be looking to collect as much revenue as possible and reduce the crowd in the stadiums. They are doing the opposite. Rather than making the tickets expensive, they are giving them out at very cheap rates. This will increase the crowd and make it difficult to manage them. While I was visiting India, once I attended an IPL match. The cheapest tickets were priced at around $15.

$3 = more than 350 Pak rupee, so it's not that much cheap I think if we account the current situation of Pakistan Cricket, after a long time, international match is going to be lived at Pakistan. I think price is okay. Once they get settled, price can be changed.
It's better to get more crowd with cheap price than less crowd with expensive. In our country, generally the normal tickets are priced around $3 as well if I'm correct. Little Mouse may give us some light on it.

I feel that India might decimate South Africa(Just a feeling) which is why I would bet on India. Missing Bumrah, but it is good to see Chahar playing in the squad. Pant is receiving tips from everyone(Dravid today) and the expectations from him keep growing.

Anyway, most important thing for them is to organize this series in a good manner, so that other teams will show their willingness to visit Pakistan. I am not sure whether the Indian team will visit them anytime soon. The last time they visited Pakistan was long back in 2006. Perhaps they will be able to attract the other two "Big three" teams (Australia and England).

It was a great win for Zimbabwe, it could not be a much better day for Masakadza, very few players get this type od last match. He was a great asset for Zimbabwe team, I think they will now be in more trouble.
I don't want to put a word on Ban vs Afg match, I wish Ban come back and play as natural.

Finally we see the first win for the Zimbabwe in this tournament and they will be happy to get their first 2 points on the table. The match was interesting as Zimbabwe only managed to win the last over.
This makes the next match between Bangladesh vs Afghanistan more interesting as the winner of it will top the table.

The loss was quite unexpected for Afghanistan and it changes the calculations. We have the Bangladesh vs Afghanistan match today, and I hope that Afghanistan is able to win their match. If they lose another match, then their T20 ranking will come down (as of now, only 11 points separate them from the 8th ranked Sri Lanka). The problem with the ICC rankings is that whenever a team loses to a side which is ranked much lower than it, it can have a huge impact on the points. Anyway, for Afghanistan the big danger is over. The direct qualification slots for the 2020 ICC T20 World Cup have been decided already, and Afghanistan managed to qualify based on their rankings as of 2018 December.

Snip~~

Yes Zimbabwe is troubling now with their cricket team and after Masakadza's leave the troubles are increasing in the Zimbabwe's team I think. Masakadza played e vital role for the cricket team. So its really a bad things for Zimbabwe.

I have already mentioned in the other thread, team B or C whatever - Pakistan has a good opportunity now to prove them worth hosting international cricket again. They should not waste it and the local needs to understand the reality too. They (local) need to show all their support for cricket and need to ensure that the visitors are safe.

Even though the matches score may be boring, but you will surely see jam packed stadiums.
What i am expecting form this Srilanka team in Pakistan is that the next PSL should be held in Pakistan and not in United Arab Emirates. If this happens, they will give us a lot of matches to watch in Lahore and Karachi.  Smiley
I believe they can manage more things but really unprofessional peoples in PCB hurting too much and they have no policy and no aim just working for safety of own jobs which is not good enough only Lahore and Karachi not Pakistan they can settle things in Rawalpindi and Multan as well but some time I feel they are too stupid to do things easily.

Oh common..PCB is making this happen so we cannot say that there is unprofessionalism within PCB.
We are planing the matches only in the two big cities as it will be not wise to take the tournament to small cities too. I am not saying that there is any threat in small cities for the players but in reality a lot of money is to be spent on the security of the team and if they have to travel between cities it will cost PCB more to manage securities in those cities too.

Masakadza finished his career with a memorable win against Afghanistan. He played an outstanding innings of 71 runs from just 42 balls. Zimbabwe reached the target of 156 easily with the help of Masakadza. And with the lose Afghanistan winning streak of 12 T20 finally ends.

Tomorrow Bangladesh will take on Afghanistan. Bangladesh lost the first match against Afghanistan, but now they change couple of players. It will be a massive action, I'm sure.

Nice to hear that after a long wait, it is now possible for the Pakistani cricket fans to watch international cricket. Hopefully, a successful tour by Sri Lanka will remove the doubt from the minds of the other cricket boards and I hope they will also agree to tour Pakistan. The PCB need revenues badly, and it looks like they will get a breather from the Sri Lankans.
If they wanted to shift the entire international matches back to Pakistan why don't they shift their PSL T20 tournament completly in Pakistan rather than using UAE for some matches, if they are able to demonstrate that to the entire world that they are safe for cricketers now then people might change their mind regarding that, if you know that it is not safe for their life as the world saw the attack against cricketers in the past and no one in the right mind would travel to play cricket.

The majority of the Sri Lankan players refused to tour Pakistan due to safety concerns. That's why they mostly picked youngsters and members of the A team. If the Sri Lankans are reluctant to visit Pakistan, how can you expect players such as Colin Munro, Darren Sammy and Luke Ronchi to play the PSL matches in Pakistan? It will take some time, and please be patient.
