Kolkata Knight Riders and Delhi Capitals faced each other in the 47th match in which Delhi Capitals batted first and scored only 153 runs. Again today in the match between Lucknow Super Giants and Mumbai Indians in the 48th match of IPL, Mumbai scored only 144 runs by batting first. In the last few matches we have seen that the batsmen of each team have played well and many teams have been defeated despite scoring 200 runs. Pace bowling allrounders are quite rare in Indian domestic cricket. How many are there? Apart from Harddick Pandya we have Shardul Thakur, Venkatesh Iyer and Vijay Shankar. Both of them are in poor form right now. And then we have a few others such as Yash Thakur and Manishankar Murasingh. Unless more of domestic matches are being played in pace friendly pitches, we may not see a lot of pace bowling allrounders in domestic cricket. And that is not going to happen soon.

Lucknow Super Giants are a stronger team and I expect them to win today. Right now both the opening bowlers Marcus Stoinis and Mohsin Khan took one wicket each. This match is being played at Lucknow and therefore i guess their team and crowd will be happy with the scorecard at the moment.
MI once again in trouble as Rohit and Surya both gone for cheap. Surya isn't having much success with his leg side shots these days, instead of going for boundaries he gets out trying to hit those.
Pressure on young middle order again, Tilak and Nehal, will these two help MI give good total again? Ishan still on crease, he has opportunity to prove himself too, iirc he has played one 50+ inning so far this season, MI needs more from him.

It's very important game for MI, they need to win this game to stay in the contest. If we see points table then LSG is at number 5th position while MI is at number 9th position. What you stated makes sense from a technical perspective, but not from a financial perspective because BCCI is raking in the big bucks through rules like Impact Player etc since most people just want to see sixes and fours.This is why I am afraid that they will keep favouring batsmen more and more over bowlers in the IPL thanks to the entertainment factor.

Had Lizaad Williams taken that catch of Salt, match could have gotten bit interesting, he's backbone of KKR this season, if he's back to pavilion early, rest of team comes under huge pressure.
Kuldeep and Axar are good as they get, always taking crucial wickets in middle overs. Even in massacre against SRH, these two alone shined.
And for spin they have Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav. Two world class bowlers, who are out of form at the moment.
