We have seen the batting frenzy of Kolkata and Hyderabad batsmen this season. In yesterday's match, we saw the stormy batting of Punjab's batsmen. I don't imagine any team can win so easily on a target of 262 runs. Even if the target of this match was 280, maybe Punjab would have been able to win the match. Punjab's batsmen have performed well in this match.

Bairstwo, Prabhsimran Singh and Shashank Singh batted brilliantly in this match. Baistwo remained unbeaten on 108 off 48 balls. Prabhsimran singh got out with 54 runs from 20 balls. And Shashank was unbeaten with 68 off 28 balls. Apart from Narine, I have not seen any bowler bowl controlled.

We don't see any better performance from Pakistani batsmen on batting friendly pitch. Also Pakistani bowlers bowling seems to be getting worse day by day. If this continues, the Pakistan team will be defeated in today's match as well.

I thought Pakistan would dominate the series. And in the second match, Pakistan got a very easy win. But even then we have seen the performance of Pakistani players deteriorate. If they lose today's match too, Pakistan will lose the series by 3-1.

However, when the whole crowd was disappointed then the cameramen focused the camera on the small children and they started to cry, I took a screen shoot but I was not able to take a photo of the crying children. Small girls and boys, they are were starting to cry at yesterday’s match when Pakistan lost the match. This loss hits much harder to the children who are more emotionally attached to the team.

Morning thoughts on yesterday's match. After Russel got out, both the Iyer's slowed down innings a bit, although they eventually settled for relatively good SR, it could have been much better and KKR could have gathered extra 20-30 runs which possibly might have been game changing.

^ I'm aware talking about extra runs from already 261 lol but there was this short period where inning were slowed down when it shouldn't have been.

Prabhsimran is the unsung hero behind PBKS's victory, he was the one who gave good start and didn't let RRR climb further, his run-out was unfortunate to see.

Yes you are right Jonny Bairstow did really well in yesterday match and helped Punjab Kings to win match. He batted really well and was main reason his team won. He remained not out which was showing that he is really good in batting. He made 108 run with 9 sixes and 8 fours. After him Shashank Singh was also good who made 68 runs he played really fast with hitting 8 sixes. Kolkata Knight Riders tried hard and made high score but their bowling was not good enough to stop Punjab Kings. This made them to lose match. Punjab Kings did better in both batting and bowling. They played really well and deserved to win.

Pakistan Women vs West Indies Women

These two teams recently finished the ODI series and West Indies performance was quite well and they won that series with 3-0.
So yesterday they started T20I series they played the first match and again West Indies Women team won the first match of this series. But if we look at the match stats so we will see that Pakistan Women team also give a tough time to West Indies.WI collected 122 runs in 20 overs. Which was an average target in Women cricket. Fatima Sana and Sadia Iqbal was good in bowling they collected 3 and 2 wickets respectively.
Pakistan tried well to chase but Pakistan lost the match by 2 runs. From West Indies Women team Karishma Ramharack was really good in bowling. She collected 4 wickets. I was surprised when I saw Hayley Matthews she played really well in ODI series but here she got out at 0 runs. By the way Congratulations to West Indies Women team.

If a team can play so well why are they in the bottom position. Punjab Kings have won only 3 matches in IPL 2024 points table. On the other hand Kolkata is a strong team they are in 2nd position. Those who can chase 261 runs they never consider a bad team. Moreover, Kolkata's bowling line-up is not bad, but one has to admit that Punjab Kings definitely have players of that quality. Although it is fun to say that if Preity Zinta is present, the team loses the match, Punjab Kings have done so in many matches. Though her absence is not associated with the team's wins and losses, it is estimated that those factors are quite noticeable to the fans.
