Litton Das has played 6 matches in this BPL season. He has only performed well in the last two BPL matches. His performance was average in the first match, then he batted pathetically in the next three matches. Overall, his performance is still below average stage.Quote

I'll be honest, Shreyas never seemed to have that vibe that he is a good captain, albeit stats tell a different story. Under his captainship Delhi Capitals reached their only IPL final (2020 season) and KKR winning trophy, last year of course.
I disagree. He always gave great captaincy vibes to me since he literally helped 2 teams reach the final out of which they ended up winning one of them(KKR) and he served as an IPL captain 4 teams so far. That's damn impressive. On top of all this, he helped Mumbai win the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy recently. He is a great T20 captain and has a ton of potential to be a great ODI captain.

Looks like Punjab kings have selected Shreyas Iyer as their captain as expected which I feel is the right call since he has proven himself as proper captaincy material over the years in my honest opinion.

Also, PBKS has changed plenty captains over the years, pretty much every season, hopefully they'll stick with Shreyas for a good while, I think giving long rope to a single captain brings little stability to the team.

As you said they are only team that has not lost any games this season which means they have good chance of winning championship. But mostly I see that whenever a team won all the matches of a league or tournament they lose the final match. Haha. So let's see what they will do?

Selectors have taken the decision by doing proper observation. I don't see the necessity of rethinking about their decision. Have you checked the performance of Litton Das in the last few matches? He hasn't scored above 10 runs in his last 7 ODI matches, his performance isn't good in T20I international matches as well. Big score of 2-3 domestic cricket league match doesn't prove that the player will perform good in big international events.

I read that Liton das is not being selected for the Champions trophy, Man Bangladesh needs to rethink what they have done here.
