India won the first match by a big margin. With the help of Sanju Samson's aggressive batting, India made a huge total of 202. Along with the batsmen, the bowlers also performed very well. As a result, India won the match by a huge margin of 61 runs. India played very well in their first match.
But in the second match today, India stumbled at the beginning. South Africa won the toss and decided to field. And India collected only 11 runs in 3 overs. But India lost their two crucial wickets in the first 3 overs. Sanju Samson scored a century in the first match but could not add any runs to the scoreboard in today's match. Abhishek Sharma returned to the dressing room with just 4 runs from 5 balls. But looking at the pitch condition I don't think it is a batting friendly pitch. The match will become competitive only if India muster up to 160.
South Africa won the toss in the second T20I against India and after winning the toss they elected to field first. South Africa fielded first against India and picked up two valuable wickets early in the innings. So when I checked the scoreboard, India's score was 2 wickets for 5 runs. Now, while I am writing this post, one more wicket has fallen for India, which means that India is now on the scoreboard at 28 for three wickets. India lost three valuable wickets in the powerplay so scoring big later on will definitely pose a problem for India. South Africa will try to squeeze India more now and if they can keep more wickets falling then South Africa will take control of this match very easily. So Indian batsmen should now build a good partnership and take the store to a better level.
Arshdev Singh did not perform well in today's match, conceding 41 in four overs which is the most expensive for this match. However, Varun Chakraborty performed very well and picked up five wickets, but India could not win, but this match was filled with great competition.
As India won the first T20 match and South Africa won the second match, let's see what the outcome of the game could be in the end. The game is tied so far, but the experienced players can win the series in this match yet both teams have enough chances. In today's match, South Africa team lost wickets and were in their control due to which they won this match easily.
In the second T20I, both India's bowling and batting line were poor, which led to their easy defeat. However, South Africa performed well and won by three wickets. Although India won the first match, they lost the second T20I, and the series is currently tied at 1-1. The next match will be more interesting between the two teams, although India will have to prepare well for the next match to win. However, although Varun Chakaravarthy bowled well and took five wickets, India were short-handed when they batted. If India could have scored a big score, it would have been possible, but due to the early dismissals of the opening batsmen, India scored few runs, which led to an easy victory for South Africa.
