The tail-enders played responsibly, and the West Indies won the match. I placed a tiny bit of 0.3mBTC against India when the odds were 2.52 For West Indies. They lost two early wickets in the first over, and the odds of winnings were low for the West Indies. Nicholas Pooran and Mayers started hitting boundaries and sixes and returned very strongly.

At a time, West Indies needed only 27 Runs from 37 Balls, and it went 24 Runs from 24 Balls with two wickets in hand. Akeal Hosein and Alzarri Joseph played responsibly to win the match. I thought West Indies might lose this match.

It was a good win for West Indies as well as for you. West Indes lost 3 wickets in 4th over and at that time chances for WI victory were not much. It was Nicholas Pooran 67 runs on 40 balls that took the game away from India. Tilak Varma was the highest scorer for India as he scored 51 runs on 41 balls. India are now 2 down in the series and they have no margin of error left.
India still have enough time to turn around as there are still three matches left in this series, if India can do well in the remaining three matches then they can come back in this series. West Indies have a good chance of doing better than India in this series as they have already won the first two matches to lead the series. Nicholas Pooran was the most important contributor to West Indies' victory in the second match, his storming batting led West Indies to victory over India. If India could have done some controlled bowling towards the end then the second match could have been India's. The two batsmen who secured West Indies' victory were two batsmen but not first-order batsmen, meaning that if they could have been yorked or bounced, they would have been defeated.

India lost the first two matches of the 5-match T20 series. Shame on them I'd say. The performance of the West Indies team is now erratic. Still, this team is good enough in the T20 format. India management should have formed a more experienced team. India was defeated by their own fault. I will be happy if India loses the series.
Yes West indies One day and test performance was worst then Zimbabwe but in t20 field they are still very dangerous as they beat best indian team in both games. Now india will he enter with new strategy like England did in ashes to win this series.

West Indies team is slightly better in the T20 format. But since now the performance of their players is erratic. So I thought India will win the series easily. But due to the bad performance of the batsmen, India lost the first two matches of the series. BCCI should stop their experiment. Otherwise India will lose the series badly.

West Indies confirmed a 2-0 lead after a thrilling finish, and India faced consecutive loss due to overconfidence. It's now fact that without their regular players, India's performance is way below average. Hardik Pandya's team suffered a second loss in a row in the 5-match T20I series vs West Indies. Can West Indies get the series confirm in tomorrow's third T20I against India? I'd confidently say YES.
My inner feelings were the same, that West Indies will win the third T20 match and confirm its series win. Once after the first match loss, thought that India will make a comeback and perform well. It was the same performance in the second match. Most of the batsmen in the squad were power hitters and none had contributed good other than Tilak Varma who had played to his part in both the matches. When these players weren't able to win a match for the nation, no use of these players being part of IPL and making history.

LOL.. West Indies may keep their reputation intact. A few moments back, they were 126/4. Now they are 128/7. Nicholas Pooran, Jason Holder and Romario Shepherd got out in quick succession. The last one fell victim to an useless runout. They still need 25 runs to win, with 27 balls remaining. But the catch here is that they have just 3 wickets in hand. Yuzvendra Chahal was looking quite ordinary a few overs ago, but now he is looking unplayable. And the good thing for India is that they still have overs from both Arshdeep Singh and Mukesh Kumar.

Tonight things are not looking good for India, I guess this is another 150-ish chase if India gets lucky.

Although the pitch report mentioned that it would be a good scoring wicket but it didn't look like one. Let's save the overall rant for later if Windies completely dominate and India manages to lose this series in the next match.

Yes it was a batting pitch, but Indian team is lacking the batters. I mean completely the team is out of form. Atleast Rohit and Virat were there and they used to do a good start, but now without them, the team just lacks energy and confidence. Really very bad captaincy by Hardik Pandya. Except Ishan and Tilak everyone disappointed us in this series. If this forms continues, then forget about the 50 format world cup. The selectors now need to get serious and take this Wi series more seriously. Let’s see if India makes comeback or WI wins the series.
Maybe this lot trying to revive Windies cricket.  Grin Grin

Jokes apart, these guys do deserve bashing for bad performance but at the same time, I'd still prefer if they keep going with this new setup and give them a long rope. Don't want to see another knee jerk reaction after a couple of defeats.

Pandya seriously needs to improve his captaincy. Why the heck did he not give Axar any overs when we all know how well he can bowl? Also, replacing Kuldeep for Bishnoi was a weird choice.

India have been pretty mediocre throughout this series. Their T-20 performances have been really bad so far. Their tail-enders keep batting like crap as usual.
The Indian cricket team under the leadership of Hardik Pandya lacks enough captaincy. Hardik Pandya should be suggested for better leadership with immediate changes in the team. However, the match was forced to be lost tomorrow due to multiple captaincy mistakes.

West Indies is really good in T20 format cricket, the first match result of five match series proved it. Now the second match result have proven that West Indies team is king of T20. In the first match West Indies scored 149 runs and defended India and won by 4 runs. This time West Indies have chased the target of 152 runs with 7 balls remaining. Nicholas Pooran played an awesome innings scoring 67 runs from 40 balls which were the important scores for winning.
It is surprising to see such a performance of the Indian team in T20 cricket. They have lost both of their two consecutive matches. They scored only 152 runs after batting 20 overs. Even in the first match, their performance was not as expected. There is no change in the second match either. If India lose the next match in the 5-match T20 series, then their series is over. Hope they don't let that happen. They will definitely try to win there. But there is no faith or trust in T20 cricket. Although the West Indies team does not have a prominent batsman like before, they are trying to do well.
Statistics are usually not useful in T20 cricket, a game of only 20 overs, if a batsman can shine there is a good chance of losing the match, no matter how strong the opposition is. India is a strong team compared to West Indies but India is a strong team in the ledger but West Indies are doing well in field performance. It becomes a very easy equation for West Indies to win this series as there are three T20 matches left till now and if West Indies can win only one match then they will clinch the T20 series against India. India's batting line-up is considerably better than that of West Indies so winning the toss and fielding first would have been a good decision for India. India's plans for the next match will have to change.

Nicholas Pooran scored 67 runs, Powell 21, and Hetmyre 22. Still, West Indies' victory was unfair. They lost the eighth wicket for 129 runs. Akeal Hossain and Alzarri Joseph played superbly. And West Indies won because of the wonderful partnership of this pair. Among the Indian bowlers, Pandya and Chahal's bowling was somewhat controlled. Besides, no other bowler can bowl well.
Nicholas Pooran batter well in both t20 matches. In the first match he score 41 and now 67 and this kind of consistency is required in every team to win match especially in this match when every batsmen failed to mark big score on the board. Virat Kohli was consistent batsmen in India team and without him India team is not looking best. Suryakumar performance was very poor in both matches and he should focus on his performance. Credit goes to akeal and Joseph to give second win to his team. To be honest, I wasn't hoping from west indies after losing 8 wickets but both batsmen made it easy.

BCCI is experimenting with their young players. For this reason they have rested the most experienced players in their squad. Jadeja, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are missing from the squad. If these three players were in the squad, I believe the result of the two matches might have gone in India's favour. Indian batsmen have batted badly in both the matches. At the same time, the performance of the bowlers was not bad, but it was not as expected. India has the potential to perform much better.

Nicholas Pooran's brilliant innings helped West Indies to the victory. Nicholas Pooran was selected as the man of the match after playing a brilliant innings of 67 runs from 40 balls.
In the second T20 match yesterday, Hardik Pandya collected two wickets in the first over in the first over of the West Indies' innings. Nicholas Pooran gave victory to the team through that disaster. But one thing is very important that in two T20 matches in a row India's top order batsmen are failing time and again. Except Tilak Verma, none of the other batsmen are able to perform. However, the Indian team has been forced to make substantial changes to the batsmen in the top order, with some senior batsmen lining up the squad.

Anyone looking on the T20 squad will say, it is hard to beat this team. It is accepted that the bowling line-up isn't the best, but with the batting line-up unable to score atleast 180 runs is really bad. Looking the scores of the two matches played it is well known that the team isn't good enough to play a team like West Indies. Maybe they're good in playing against teams like Netherlands and Ireland. In the first match they weren't able to score 150 runs and win the match and in the second match just 152 runs scored, shame on the performance.
By the way now the West Indies won two matches and it means it has won the series too. What will we do with squad if they will lose the matches continuously. In the both two matches both teams made almost 150 runs which I think not a good target for the other team. But in both cases India wasn't able to chase or stop the opposite team to chase the target. Really bad performance India team.

No still india have chance to win the series if they comeback strongly and many times it happens that after losing first two matches team comback strongly and won the series. The very close example is Ashes series where England lost first two matches but after then they won two matches and unfortunately one easy win match draw because of rain.

3 matches still remains and I hope India learnt from these two matches and they will not take West indies lightly this time and will enter in the ground with proper strategy. winning next two matches will take this series to final and last match will be very interesting to see.

I think this series has given India selectors a big reality check that their bench strength is literally zero. Making a team full of 11 big stats who played best in IPL is never going to work. If you see it in a way its just the big 3 players that are missing, out of which I consider Rohit pretty much out of form from long. is Indian team again going towards the path where only 1 person makes it win and it's Kohli?

West Indies lost wickets at the beginning but Pooran took over the game later. Only West Indies main tool in yesterday's match was pooran and many others played well enough to help West Indies win easily. West Indies performed very well in both the first and second T20I. And West Indies have performed poorly in other matches with India but currently West Indies are winning the very old match with India in T20I.  I have seen the West Indies perform very well in the toughest matches because the licks are being finished well.

Of course, West Indies can perform brilliantly in the T20 series, they beat India in the first match and also beat India in the 2nd match. India's series win has become very difficult now as two of the five series have been won by the West Indies. In that case, if India does not win the next three matches in the T20 matches, then they will definitely lose the series badly with the West Indies. The disappointing batting performance of the Indian batsmen in the second T20 match is really unfortunate for India. A strong team like India where they defeated West Indies in ODI matches, India cannot match West Indies in T20I matches. West Indies batting and bowling performance has been outstanding winning two series out of five series.

Whats been said at the last is the reality of the team. West Indies team doesn't have a prominent player, but they've done the best and won consecutive matches. It is the over confidence of the India team players, few of them should be kept on the bench only then they'll understand and play. Even in the next match same will be the situation and what we've seen is completely common as the team played in the similar way in the ODI series. Just on the luck, the team was able to win the series and no more the luck travel with India team.
