Why do we keep thinking that the match result wasn't important for the Pakistan team? Yes, they have won the series but that does not mean that they will lose the last match and end the series on a low note. The importance of winning the series 3-0 is always better than winning it by 2-0. This becomes even more special when you are playing against a weak team like Zimbabwe.

After this win, Zimbabwe would be feeling happy and confident even if they lost the series. The loss of the series was expected but winning a single match against Pakistan was unexpected and the Zimbabwe Cricket board will be happy with their team's performance and fight.

It is really confusing to see ICC making Pakistan play series against Zimbabwe even though Zimbabwe is struggling without their best players. Fact is that Zimbabwe lost by a lot raises questions about how fair series is. Better idea would have been to include Namibia strong team that is near Zimbabwe and make it three team tournament means the Tri Nation Series. This would have made matches more interesting and meaningful and would have been better challenge for Pakistan.
